Everyone is nice, the place is clean and pleasant. The pricing is great. My masseuse was very nice and professional. All in all a great experience.

Have to share the details of my experience.. went to inquire about attending via my GI Bill as I am disabled veteran.. however they seem to strongly discourage veterans from attending here.. they will ask you a lot of personal and health questions with it seems the intention of discouraging you from attending.. when you talk to them about using the GI Bill they basically tell you that you cannot use it here as it requires them to work with someone they prefer not to work with to process your gi bill paperwork.. may be a good massage school but they do not seem to want any veterans here. Currently as of 5/26/2021 veterans cannot use GI bill here.

It was the best. Eliza, SMT, was very professional & had excellent pressure. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and this was much needed.

I am an alumni of the Massage Therapy Program at the Academy. Like many journeys in life you learn a lot. At the time of my maturation in this program, I most definitely took it for granted for a period of time. I know, looking back almost two years post-graduation, there are a bounty of lessons learned that have come to be an amazing benefit to my overall growth and well-being as a professional and as a standard human being. The education provided is a gift. The connections made are a blessing. I am proud to call the Academy of Natural Therapy my Alma Mater; when I havent been able to be proud of a place of instruction prior to my enrollment in their program. The faculty and staff see you where you are at and encourage you to become the strongest version of yourself without forcing you to fit a certain mold. Even if I am slightly biased, the standard of professionalism set in place here are above and beyond anything I could have asked for as an example. Anyone who enters the facility; either as a student or client; will experience such a beneficial feeling of warmth and care that could possibly alter the direction of your life from that moment forward, even if it doesnt hit you immediately. I will always support and recommend the program that Dorothy Mongan has set in motion at the Academy of Natural Therapy.

The staff was very welcoming and the massage therapist did a great job. She worked with me on problem areas and checked to make sure her technique and pressure were right for me. The atmosphere was also inviting and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

I came here for a massage, not to talk politics, nationalism, and religion. If that is the only conversation the LMT is capable of making, then maybe it would be best not to talk.

Therapist did a great job! Probably the best massage Ive had in a long time. My left leg feels way better than it did before and it was very relaxing overall.

Got a massage from an LMT. Constant hints (and hints, is being generous) at religious, and political discussion. TBH I came here to relax. Having to dodge questions on ideology, and dogma is the opposite of relaxing. I really dont feel safe getting a massage here.

After my last session, I feel wonderful. I can tell that my shoulders and back are moving much more freely and everything feels so much better than before. I stand straighter and move without pain now. Amazingly, my breathing muscles have been loosened so significantly that I can take a full, deep breath now - I feel like I have twice the lung capacity - and I didnt even know that I was restricted before my session. Kat takes the time necessary to identify the problem areas and then makes the problems disappear! She does very good work. Thank you!

Brenda, the masseuse was very polite, kind and knowledgeable. She also has a very calming vibe that made it easy to relax and breath which is important because I tend to tense up during massages which then defeats the whole purpose. Will definitely recommend her to friends and family.

Alyssa was amazing! She was so kind, and she did a great job asking questions to make sure the massage fit my needs.

I asked for help with my right shoulder and she started with my neck and spent too much time on that area. then rushed though the rest of my massage because she ran out of time. She maybe spent 2 min on my right shoulder. She also didnt warm the lotion before putting it on my back. It was a very cold day out and the room wasnt very warm either. Not very Pleasant. I figured getting a licensed massage therapist I wouldnt have this problem. Overall the worst massage Ive ever gotten.

Nick Buckley does an amazing job at understanding and treating the route cause of the pain/issue you are experiencing. He is always striving to learn and implement new techniques that will help his clients. You can tell he really cares and wants to help people recover and be in the best condition they can be. He has really helped me with a lower back injury, and I am already seeing substantially better results than I have experienced with other massage therapists. I would highly recommend Nick for your future massage therapy needs!

If I could give a -5 stars that’s what I would give but I can’t so you get 1!!! I called the massage school and asked if they offered a specific service.When they told me they did not I asked them if they could refer me to somebody ?? the exact words out of the mouth of a lady named DEB were “NO IM SORRY I DO NOT.” When a doctor cannot offer services he always gives referrals this woman was so greedy for our money She bluntly and quickly throughout an answer benefiting only her and your school. She didn’t even give a second thought at denying my child of services that she so desperately needed..... I hung up the phone with her crying!!!! DEB I wish you well and have a great weekend.

Woo - Hoo!!! Academy of Natural Therapy is by far the best decision I have made in my life. I can truly say that I myself am a changed person. Helping people with their well-being is such a great feeling. As an Alumni student I must say, the education was well worth it. Thank you all very much!

Very satisfied with every one of my visits and the staff is nice and friendly.

First off I want to say heather Muniz was so amazing!!!!! The massage, the atmosphere, how open she was I mean that alone was worth its weight in gold. I went in not feeling too happy and I was pretty sick from the pain I had. After leaving I feel like the massage made me a better human being and my pain level is so significantly lower that I realized... IM STARVING! I plan to come back to see her because she is truly genuine and passionate about what she does! So beyond pleased and so worth the money. Thank you! Also the school /clinic is in an older building and it has just a wonderful feel to it. Im a weirdo who enjoys the smell of old books and the place smelled so good !!!! Serious 10/10 >)I am happy!

The Health Clinic looks really nice they have done some great upgrades. The massage was amazing they have some very talented students. Will defiantly recommend this place to all my friends. Great price for a massage!!

Kim made the experience relaxing for this tired teacher. She worked out all the kinks in my neck and arm. I felt refreshed.

My wife and I booked a couples massage over the phone 24 hours before my wifes birthday. We were told nothing about a cancellation policy when we booked the appointment and they have nothing on their website about cancellation. An emergency came up and we had to cancel. We called 4 hours early so they could fill the vacancy for the therapists. They charged us 50% cancellation ($60.00) fee. Had the emergency prevented us calling, they would have charged us 100% of the appointment. We have been a customer for several years since they were in Eaton. Makes no difference to them if your a repeat customer or not. We will not ever use their services again. Be careful because if you used a credit card, they keep it on file and will charge it.

They get the basics right--I had a very capable and knowledgeable masseuse who customized my treatment to focus on trouble-spots. Slight negative is the rabbit-warren effect of the layout, necessitated by the historic building. On-street parking was easy.

Really a hit or a miss with this place . I’ve had really good sessions in the past , but this past visit was not that great . Felt areas I designated prior to session were not focused on.

So glad i opened the doors =) Ive been out of school for ten years. And while the courses can be challenging, the support is outstanding! Every teacher is knowledgeable in most courses and the administration staff is always involved in school life. I couldnt be happier with this school

I had bad pain at my surgery area and it comes and goes vary by weather and different things at times and both visit on June and recent past week there the massage therapist was knowledgeable enough to fix my pain area. My last visit gave me relief from pain for at least 2 to 3 months.

Awesome, experience great job by all! You gotta try it.
