Montessori Academy is an amazing child care facility! My son loves his teachers. The kids are very friendly. My son has been at this center for several months and he loves it. He wakes up each morning asking for one of his favorite teachers. They serve him lunch and healthy snacks. He also gets a very well-timed nap. They play outside and do parent-friendly activities like holidays parties, Grandparent’s Day and field trips. It’s a wonderful facility and I highly recommend it to every parent out there looking for quality child care.

John Jenkins — 5 star My son had an excellent experience! I cant speak highly enough about the staff and the environment. Great communication, challenging situations that really help the children excel. Great field trips and very creative activities schedule. Wonderful experience.

I used to love this school when my son was in the toddler room a few years back, but was unhappy with the preschool room and the infant room when my second child came along. The preschool room has too many ages all in one room. The teacher “tested” my kid only to tell me that he could count to 3 when I knew for a fact he could count to 20.The infant room there is a disaster! I love the original teacher and within the first 3 days of her being gone, I was so unhappy with the care that I pulled my daughter out. I would pay for a nanny at home before sending your little one here!

Absolutely the most wonderful place in Greeley. Such caring amazing people here, the children are so friendly, the teachers are very involved, and tentative to each childs specific needs. My child is gluten free and always make sure she has the right food present. They are sensitive to our different lifestyle as a homeschooling family. Wonderful place for the children to explore learning materials that are all open around the care facility, we have been attending for a year and my child with SPD has really shown improvement, behaviorally and physiologically. Ms.roe, her daughter and Ms. Preston are amazing people. They also send out informative emails immediately to notify parents of any illnesses that may be going around. The parents are very involved in the school, and festivities. My children enjoy going here it has a special place in our hearts and lives.

My parents had me in this facility around the year 2005. The older staff members were patient and kind to us, but the younger college-age staff members were not always patient with us. We the children were rewarded with CANDY for helping to clean up our play areas. Tupperware containers filled skittles, starbursts, jolly ranchers, etc were used by our caregivers to get us to obey the rules and be cooperative.Multiple times a day, our caregiver would say out loud, “teacher treat” and then proceed to snack from the container of candy. It would irk us children and disrupt activities. When candy would be administered to us children, it would be placed into our hands from the hands of our instructor. The quantities received were irregular - leaving some to feel cheated - and the sanitary procedures were very questionable, especially if our group or “pathway” ventured beyond the premises, as we would from time to time to visit a local park, or play at the jungle gym of an adjacent grade school.During nap time, children who appeared to be asleep were rewarded with a piece of candy being placed on their sleeping matts. I recall my friends and I acting like we were asleep, and then quickly eating the candy that would be placed on our mats. My friends and I would close our eyes until we heard the candy click on the mat.For me, most disturbing at the time was the fact that we would be denied rewards for being “grabby” a.k.a. not holding your hand open and waiting for them to place the candy in our hands. Not once did I ever see them explain to us the difference between being “grabby” and doing what was expected of us. When we would inquire about bring grabby they would get angry with us for having attitudes.- I am so happy that I found this place after all of these years!!! Finally I can place a review! I had attended this facility personally for about a year. Just now, I did not entirely recognize the name of this facility. It may now be a new facility with new management and entirely new protocol. It is my hope that modern policies use no food as rewards, and that they don’t give a bunch of “sleeping” kids candy in a dark room where it could be difficult to monitor the choking hazards. I also hope that staff members can identify when and how a child needs something explained to them.
