Very helpful volunteer staff. They were a little busy so we had to wait a little bit but it was worth it!

Great experience. Was able to trade a smaller bike that needed a little work, for a bike that fits my 9 year old. They adjusted everything and off we rode.

Best community bike shop. Can’t wait to see what they do In the coming season. It’s going to be great. They are open limited hours but with more Volunteers they could be open more often even in the off season, as it is right now.

My daughter got a new bicycle this Spring so my wife and I decided to get bikes as well, so we could all bike together as a family. We chose to get used bikes for a number of reasons and I asked around for a good place to buy bikes in Green Bay. Thankfully a friend told me about the Green Bay Bicycle Collective! We checked their website, noted their limited hours and drove on over when they were open last Sunday. The man running the shop was very friendly and welcoming as well as wonderfully knowledgeable about bikes! The selection was pretty good for a used bike shop I would imagine. They had kids bikes, road bikes, trail bikes, newer biles, classic styled bikes, cross-over biles and well loved biles. The best part of the experience was that the man running the shop asked us lots of questions about our biking needs and wants and then actually listened to our answers. This enabled him to point us in the correct direction to pick up a pair of bikes perfectly suited to our needs, he didnt push us toward the priciest bikes they had but instead helped us sort through all our wants and needs to see what would work best for us. Now THATS customer service! The great thing about all the bikes there is that a competent bike mechanic has gone over them, repaired what needed fixing and replaced what couldnt be fixed. There is a list on each bike of what has been done to the bike and any items that just couldnt be fixed or replaced because of price considerations. They try to keep the prices between about $35 and $125 from what I saw in stock when we were there, so they just cant replace every component on every bike or the price would climb quickly. The cool thing is that if something wasnt able to be fixed on a bike they tell you it wasnt fixed, about how much it will cost to fix it if you purchase the bike and then its up to you.As for selection, it was very diverse. There were bikes there that had been on the road when I was a kid 40ish years ago all the way up to the newest Trek and Specialized models from last year. I purchased a newer Specialized cross-over model with a rack on the back to haul produce home from the Farmers Market and my wife ended up with a newer classic styled bike with a much more comfortable seat for zipping after our daughter. For both bikes, lots of great bike knowledge and a wonderful experience it cost us $180, which is pretty reasonably if you ask me.If you have an old bike to get rid of they gladly take donations. That might be the perfect way to do it really, ride your old bike over to their shop and donate it and while youre there buy yourself a new used bike. If you are in the market for a new bike, you owe it to yourself to have a look at the great bike deals at the Green Bay Bicycle Collective before heading to the high priced bike shops in the area, you might just come away with the deal of the Summer!
