The teachers all really care about the students. If something is going on, they take the time to find out and address the reasons why. Faculty and administration are always looking for ways to make things fun for the kids (walking field trips downtown, all school field trips, pep rallies, and bringing creativity to the curriculum as much as possible--e.g., this year the entire kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school with a secret agent themed day of activities and a mystery to solve based on numerical characters). This school has strong community, and the administration is communicative and wonderful to work with.
