One of the many things that has made made us feel at home at Cadence Academy is how our son is greeted each morning when we walk in, the staff have been so welcoming and treat him like their own. We have found the staff at Cadence to have great communication and have loved getting the photos on the app of the activities he has enjoyed that day. We have also appreciated their Covid protocols which makes us feel at ease. We have seen our son grow in a number of ways since being at Cadence and recommend them highly.

My niece has attended this school since she was 6 weeks old. She is now almost 3 and still looks forward to school everyday. The teachers are creative and offer a wonderful, caring experience for the children and families. Highly recommended for little ones. They do after-school care and preschool too!

Cadence Academy is the absolute best place to send your little one. I am a first time mom and, to be honest, I was very nervous to send my girl to daycare. I didnt think anyone could love or take care of her as well as I can but Cadence proved me wrong. My daughter loves her teachers and practically leaps out of my arms when we get to her classroom door.The environment is clean and warm. The staff are so nice and it really feels like they love their jobs and love your child as much as you do.They provide you with an app and update you throughout the day with what is going on and pictures (my favorite part)!I could go on and on but I will simply say that I couldnt ask for a better place or better people to take care of my sweet girl.Highly Highly Highly Recommend !!

On June 1st of 2021 by daughter started daycare at what some might call the most prestigious daycare in Greensboro; it was certainly one of the most expensive. I am not sure what all the hype was about because they didnt communicate well, or seem to empathize with the needs of new mother sending her only child to daycare for the 1st time during a pandemic. So I decided to pull her & thank goodness I did because I discovered Cadence Academy & they deserve all the hype & then some!!!The atmosphere on the visit was awesome, but once my daughter started it was clear that the atmosphere presented during the walk thru wasnt just a sales tactic. The staff is amazing, always pleasant and inviting. But more importantly the teachers communicate. They let me know how my daughter is doing and even ask questions to ensure they meet her specific needs. This school and all the staff gives me great comfort dropping her off each day...the team is amazing!! I am excited about all the growth and learning my daughter gets to do there!

I was worried with what I was going to do with my son this Summer. Found Cadence Academy and their Summer Camp program. From day one my son has said it is “awesome”. I don’t have to worry about him, the staff is amazing. I highly recommend. He has even asked to go there for after school once school begins.

Our daughter loves Cadence! All of the staff are so loving and wonderful! We have no problem trusting she is in good hands when she is there. Thank you Candence for all of the loving work! We would recommend this school to anyone!

Weve been extremely pleased with how Cadence has handled their COVID response and has worked to keep their teachers, students, and families safe. There are MANY things outside of their control but the things they have been able to control (i.e. communication to families) has been wonderful. Ms. Anna is always quick to respond to emails and answer questions. I can always count on someone answering the phone, and there are weekly updates and communications going out about what to expect. Im always so amazed at how the staff know every family member and their care for my children shows in everything they do. We are VERY fortunate to have Cadence as a partner throughout COVID so my husband and I can continue to work.

Im not a first time mom but I am a first time daycare mom. Cadence Academy has made putting my son in daycare easy. He started late spring of 2019 and was a few months old. I really loved that I could come in whenever I wanted to see what was going on and their app keeps you up to date on all meals and bathroom breaks with occasional cute pics as well.I liked that they had areas to breastfeed as well. Speaking with teachers at drop off and pick up, I could really tell teachers cared about the kid. My sons teachers would recognize out of the norm eating, potty and behavior habbits and would let me know which us beneficial to compare to whats going on at home. The building was always clean and I felt confident my son was safe and cared for.Fast forward a year to spring 2020 - COVID.I pull my son out for a bit because I started working from home and everything was wierd. Also they ended up closing for a bit to follow all government guidelines. Before I pulled him out in March, they had already stopped allowing parents in the classrooms. As more information came out from the CDC, they continued to update their practices an made sure to let parents know every step of the way.I put my son back in about 3 months later.Currently parents are not allowed un the building. Parents drop children off one family at a time in the front entrance. Kids get temp checks as parents answer COVID screening questions. I never had any fear of returning my son to Cadence because between how I saw they ran their school pre COVID and their openess about everything going on I knew they were doing everything they could on their end.I am glad I chose Cadence for my son because with everything thats happen since he started, I have never felt apprehensive about having them take care of him.Other positive, part of what help me choose them, they have experience with therapist coming into the school to work with kids that need it. My son has speech delays so its nice to no that any therapist he may see could potentially come in to daycare so I dont have to miss work on a regular basis.Thanks to all teachers and staff.

Choosing a childcare center when you and your spouse are first time parents can be overwhelming. We didnt know who to choose for our 3 month old baby girl. After visiting some centers in the area near our home we werent sure about any of them. Then my co-worker suggested Cadence Academy. We went in for a visit and were put at ease of the amount of kindness we were shown. We were accepted immediately (thankfully there was no wait list), and the transition from maternity leave to back to work was simple. I know she is in good care. I get updates from the APP all day and I can check it any time I want to. I feel relieved that we chose them to trust. I know we made the right decision. The cost of tuition is a little high but you cant put a price on piece of mind.

Awesome Daycare. Very clean facility and professional staff who are great with our kids. Always lots of fun activities planned for the kids to take part in. The most recent was the Christmas play. My daughters teacher, Shanita, did a fabulous job planning this and getting the kids to work together. All the parents really enjoyed seeing their kids sing and dance! Best daycare in Greensboro, hands down.

Our daughter loves her friends and teachers at Village Kids! Weve enjoyed getting to know the other parents and had a blast this past weekend at a childs birthday party. Village Kids provides a nurturing environment, and we highly recommend them!

I became the Director of this facility in June of 2018 and it was a great decision for me. I researched the company and found that our philosophy matches in many areas. I love the fact that we promote a KIND child, KIND community and really do what we preach. The staff is very caring and a pleasure to work with. We LOVE Village Kids in Greensboro! Our daughter is super happy in her classroom and she learns exponentially more each day. In addition, the director and administrative staff are so easy to work with. Everyone is caring and helpful every time I see them. I would highly recommend Village Kids.

Village Kids has been caring for our daughter for over a year and we have been very pleased with her care. While she has had a few different teachers during her time here, they have all been very caring, patient, and loved on her. The management team communicates very effectively and provides timely updates. I love the app they use to provide updates on my daughters day while I am working - sometimes with pics included!

We have always had a great experience with Village Kids! The environment is nice, and so are the teachers and staff. Our daughter started here recently and we have been very impressed and happy with the school as well as her teachers! We love the feedback we receive through the app and feel that the communication between the school/teachers and parents is really top notch! My son and I love Village Kids. He enjoys coming to school everything and learning new things. He has learned so much since he’s been here. He comes home and tell me how his day was and what he did. The teachers are easy to talk to and are caring as well as administration.

My experiences with my son have been great here. There were some rough patches along the way, I will admit as anytime management changes, there can be necessary turnover. However, since the new director has been here with 2 great assistant directors, it has been great and employee retention has been the best I have seen it. It is so nice to walk in the building and be spoken to at the front desk unlike a couple of years ago. The building looks so much better and is decorated, painted and clean! I trust my son is in good hands and since Anna has been in charge, I’ve never once considered switching schools.I did review on Facebook but decided to check out reviews of other places so I personally wanted to show my appreciation to the current staff. I saw a couple of negative reviews posted here and just wanted to throw my opinion in as I’ve seen the changes for over 4 years. You will not be disappointed!

I worked at Village Kids for 4 years before I moved to Florida. I was a teacher for the majority of those years and then I was promoted to Assistant Director. If you were to ask me if I recommend this place, I would say yes. This center is not like your regular, typical daycare. It’s a place that you can call home. The curriculum that they have is outstanding and will prepare your child(ren) for school in the future. I went back to visit since I was home for awhile, and the staff and management looked so happy to be there. When I walked in, I could immediately feel the warm environment. Village Kids has had a lot of changes, but they have honestly had those changes for the better. I believe that this is the best child care to have your children in. I promise you won’t regret it!

My children and I love Village Kids! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They show so much care, compassion and love for my kids. The teachers provide wonderful education and I can see my children learning & growing both mentally and emotionally.I cannot think of any group so wonderful to take care of and teach my children when I cannot be with them.

We found this provider on a list of daycares that the military works with. My daughter has had a great experience here so far. She likes all of her teachers and I dont worry about anything happening her during the day. She suffers from separation anxiety and the staff has never made me feel bad about it - theyve always welcomed her and she has really improved since coming here. When my 4 month old is ready for daycare, well send him here as well if were still in the area!

We have two kids enrolled at Village Kids. Our kids love going there and the directors and staff are very friendly. The building has received many upgrades over the past year and the classrooms are generously sized and clean. The directors are also very good at communicating information via email and updating parents on upcoming events they have planned for the kids. They also have an app to communicate photos and information with parents throughout the day. You can tell the staff really care about the children.

I am so happy that I found Village kids. Our daughter used to whine and cry every morning before we found village kids because she just wanted to stay home which makes for tough mornings.She is so excited now! She talks non stop about the crafts they do and friends she has made .She sings songs she has learned. The staff members are all so wonderful with the children. They are so excited when they great them, the facility is clean and filled with our babies art work, the healthy menus are very impressive! Our daughter is trying foods she has resisted in the past . We get daily email reports of her progress including pictures which are so great. Village kids has truly been a blessing!!!!

We love VK! Started at a different daycare only for convenience, but quickly realized convenience isnt always the best. While VK is in an opposite location, it has been such a great experience! The staff is super friendly and welcome you every morning! The teachers are totally engaged with the babies and know their little personalities!! 5 stars for sure!

Village Kids is absolutely wonderful!! We have 2 little ones that go there. The staff is friendly and helpful and the teachers are very attentive to the children. Village Kids is one of the very few places we found that was so flexible and really worked with our schedule.We LOVE Village Kids!!!

Our five and two year old LOVE going to school. The teachers, front desk staff, support staff and admin are all super friendly and lovely to interact with. I really appreciate being greeted each time I walk in for drop offs & pick ups. Our five year olds preschool teacher, Shanita, is fantastic! She updates KidReport on the daily with pictures and a recap of what was learned. This has allowed for targeted discussions on the ride home and at the dinner table. Our two year olds teacher, Beth, has really supported him with learning words and having fun experiences. I highly recommend Village Kids / Cadence Academy to anyone in the area :).

I took my child out after it started going down hill quickly within recent months. The good teachers are leaving, the ladies at the front desk only care about money, and one of the teachers in village one is in trouble with the law and yet STILL is able to be around the children. Parents should be aware of who takes care of their children, and once we dug around and found out the truth, we pulled our child out that day. If you are still questioning if this is the place for your family, just look at the teacher turnover rate. That should be enough to deter you elsewhere!

My toddler has been going there for about 1.5 years, and hes loved it since day 1. We feel comfortable leaving him there- its clean, safe, up to code/policy, the staff is friendly and informative. They are excellent with developmental teachings and discipline. My son looks forward to going every day. I absolutely recommend VK.

When I toured several places that was the first thing I would ask, is if a child needs outside resources whether it be occupational therapy, speech, behavior, were they open and allow these types of services. If a school doesnt allow this, it should send up a red flag!I knew the day I walked into VK that this was where we belonged. They dont require an appointment to tour, which shows they have nothing to hide. They offer a trial drop in which is great to see how the child likes it there. The director sat down with me for an extended amount of time and answered all of my questions and let me address my concerns. My child has flourished so much since he started there 7 months ago. He loves school and his teachers. He has made so many positive changes and improvements and its all becasue he is loved and likes where he is in school now. I cannot tell you how happy we are to have found this school and only wish he had been here all along! Miss Lisa and Miss Leslie are great, they love each and every child.

This daycare center is one of the worse center around. They are very money hungry! Teachers are somewhat good. Well the very few they have, but the ADMIN is terrible. MOST ARE UNEDUCATED IN ADMIN!. THEY DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR KIDS!

I must say that I am a little concerned now that ALL of the staff has left (good staff). My kids went on to kindergarten this past year however because we loved Village Kids so much for 3 years straight, we decided to put them in the Summer Camp Program there. What we noticed on the first day.....the mold smell is still there from over a year ago. However, when I asked the young girl at the front desk why it smelled so bad she said it was something they were fixing and it just started. Secondly, my child has been there for all of a week and already we have problems with another child using NASTY curse words and putting his hands on my child. We stood there to observe this taking place while the teachers were chatting up a storm not paying attention. Needless to say we are very very disappointed in the complete opposite change this facility has gone through. We are going to make some changes soon but the owners really need to look into this negative impact that has taken place since Amy, Angie and the others have left. It is a completely DIFFERENT daycare. Sad.

This school went to great to horrible over night. I have been longing to write a review, but have been waiting to until my child was taking out of the system. My child had been at this school for a year and a half. From day one nothing was ever like what we were told to expect. We were told that our child would be in a class with a teacher that will follow them through the end of Pre-K. My child has had 13 different teachers since her first day. The turn over rate is ridiculous for a child care center where children need stability, they are at that center more than anywhere else during the week. We dealt with the teachers changing because it wasnt worth moving schools over. However, after a few months during heavy rain falls I became very aware of the smell of mold. I became concerned for my child who has severe allergies. I had spoken to a few directors about my concerns, I also made phone calls to follow up. They assured me there is nothing to be worried about that there is no mold issue, though they ran fans in hall ways after rain days. Another concern of my at this school was when my child was being inappropriately touched by another boy. I was assured that records were kept, other childs parents would be made aware, the child(ren) and my daughter would be separated. The incident happened on 4 different occasions, not until I threatened to call the cops was anything ever done. come to find out, no records were kept, other childs parents were never aware of this behavior and during the day my child was still in the same classes of the other child(ren).Days since our last dispute with this school, the School director, assistant director and a few teacher have been let go or resigned. The only person I have praise for is Ms. Zenia. She has been a great support for the class that has had 13 teachers in a year and a half. She has taken her class under her wing as her own. She is beyond dedicated to all of her children in class. She has helped these children tremendously in just the little time she has been with them!!

If it can get back to where it was about 2ish years ago - well be good. As it stands right now, Im forced to drop my previous rating from 5 stars to 2. THIS IS UNFORTUNATE and due to pretty much SOLELY admin issues. Theyre PRETTY SKETCHY as it stands. I still LOVE my kids teachers, Ms. Lisa & Ms. Leslie and am AMAZED they have weathered the recent storms. VK pushed a LOT of great teachers out the door... maybe because they knew too much? Who knows....... I havent totally given up hope - but - its VERY CLOSE. You only get one chance at this parenting thing... Im optimistic for improvement and that the organization can get back to its former glory.Update: 3ish months since my last update and still nothing good to say about management. :( It was a good run for the first 2.5 years we were there but now, youll pay an absolute fortune for unfulfilled promises. Pretty much since the fall/winter of 2016, this place has gone down the tubes. Heart breaking. We were SUCH huge fans & actually referred a few families to enroll. ... theyve since left, too. ugh!! Were bummed! Off to a new school, we go....
