Triad Aviation Academy has been an absolute life saver! I called and booked a discovery flight for my wifes birthday after multiple different schools couldnt help me. Everywhere I called either said that I wouldnt be allowed to fly with her during the lesson, or suggested that due to my wifes immigration status (legal resident) she wouldnt be eligible to take a discovery flight. This didnt stop TAA in the slightest. They assured me that for her first flight her immigration status was a non issue. They booked us immediately (during a weekend no less) and immediately connected me with our Pilot. This is where the true strength of TAA comes into the picture. Every flight school will have planes, pilots, and fancy headsets, but TAAs staff makes a serious difference. Our pilot was an incredibly nice, educated, personable man named Dalton (ask for him if you can!) He walked us through every step of the process from the safety checks to the landing, and was an incredibly calming presence in the air. He had such confidence in what he was doing that it immediately relieved my wife and I (who were both a little nervous about the process). He was patient whenever he answered our ridiculous questions and just a fun and interesting person to be around. If you book a discovery flight through TAA, try and ask for Dalton, if hes unavailable you still have nothing to fear. The staff at TAA is a community if I ever saw one. Its obvious from the moment you walk in that everyone knows everyone, and that everyone gets along very well. Highly professional while still being personable and entertaining, the staff at TAA made this from being a 10/10 experience to an 11/10. Everyone was cracking jokes, educating us on our flight, or working hard to get us into the air quickly. You will not beat TAA if youre looking for an intro flight/lessons.p.s. For long commuters, we drove from Chapel Hill (1+hour away) and was in constant communication with our Pilot Dalton. He made it a priority to let us know well before we even left our town if the weather would be an issue or if there was anything that might interfere with our flight (thankfully there wasnt). We decided moments after leaving the airport that if we continue to take lessons we would be making the commute to Greensboro for this school. Once again, incredible team, unbelievable experience, and the best prices out of all the 11+ schools I called trying to make this happen for my wifes birthday.

Bruce, MayCay, Jerome and the entire team at Triad Aviation Academy (TAA) are caring, patient and want to see you succeed! And the best part of training here to become a pilot...After you obtain your private pilot certificate, you can become an instructor here and work on getting your flight hours up to 1500 if you want to go after your commercial pilots certificate. They have a relationship with American Airlines so when you reach all the requirements to become a commercial pilot, you can interview with AA if you want.Make sure that you ask a lot of questions when you contact TAA about becoming a private pilot, so that you understand everything including how the fees work. They will save you some money over other pilot training centers that charge strictly by the amount of time the propeller on the airplane is spinning on your plane. You will enjoy getting your pilots license at TAA for sure.

Triad Aviation Academy Flight Attendant Career Training course has been an amazing experience. Carolyn, our instructor, a seasoned flight attendant with years of experience, is well informed and teaches everything one needs to know to get started in this career. This school is very supportive and it gets you acquainted with the “real world” in the daily life of a flight attendant, what to expect in training, and helps to walk you through the process of preparing a resume and the interview process with the airlines. I have gained a lot more confidence to pursue my dream now and feel like getting hired in the airline industry is a very realistic possibility. Thank you, Carolyn and Triad Aviation Academy!!!

We did not have to compete with 200K other applicants we were given access to recruiters. The training is very good we learned safety procedures, oxygen mask fire extinguishers 🧯 we also learned how airline terms, airport codes and so much more.I highly recommend you come here before jumping in with all the other sharks.Thank you so much Kim and Camille.

I recently got my PPL From this flight school, Starting off with the price and the charges well on the website you are told your PPL will cost $7,725 which is almost impossible it says only 35 Hours, doesnt include there hidden charges there that you find when you are checking out such as Pre-Flight And Post Flight which both are $12.50 the idea behind them is the time you spend talking about your flight today with your flight instructor and then after things you can work on and what you did good on and what you did bad on, But you will be charged them both even if the instructor told you go ahead and do the Pre-Flight and then after the flight you didnt really talk ether way you are going to get charged. Second hidden charge Fuel Surcharge i inquired with the owner on what that cost comes from when i first started going and its said to be the cost of the trucks that come from signature over to the flight school to fill up the planes, But you never see that charge on the website you only see that when you get to checkout. Second we can talk about the planes... Not sure where to start... about every flight i took something wasnt working, The Garmin 430W Data Base wasnt updated, The inside of the plane was never cleaned, The whole outside of the plane wasnt cleaned once the whole time i was at the flight school which was 3 months. Next up about the planes was when you are getting ready for your check ride and they have a MX Log for students it has copies from the Master MX Log which the students dont have access to and in the front it has a Table of contents with page numbers where to find all your logs for maintenance and that is not in order at all it makes stuff very difficult when you get to the check ride you have to look around and its not on the page it should be. Overall with this flight school it wasnt a very pleasant experience for me.
