Very friendly staff, teachers are awesome and work with each child according to their needs. My son has autism and I was afraid of him transitioning to a new school but Claxton teachers helped him settle in quite nicely. By day to almost every teacher we came in contact with knew his name! He loves it!

A wonderful school! The administration is amazing and I am confident in the education that my daughter is getting at Claxton. The staff and teachers are great and there is a genuine sense of caring for the kids. A lot of great programs and parent volunteers at this school too.

This is my granddaughters second year at Claxton. She is in fifth grade. Since I volunteer and substitute at this school, I can honestly express how pleased I am with the teaching, support staff, and the administration. The principal and her assistant are very visible at the school. They are involved in the students activities and supportive of the staff. The students feel safe and cared for at Claxton. The teachers are welcoming to volunteers and can use your help in the classroom and on field trips. Go online under GCS to fill out a volunteer form. It is a rewarding experience to be a part of this school and their team!

If your child is happy going to school, school is good... Nice welcoming staff.

This is definitely not parker hutton but I think this school is the best but better lunch food please!
