Updated edit:The response of the owner is all you need to know about the situation. Also, the fact that I was blocked by the camp page on Facebook after leaving this same review speaks volumes for their level of professionalism. We were told over the phone what happened when they called telling us we needed to pick our daughter up early because she was crying. The barely-legal counselors gave as much information about the situation beforehand. The damage was already done to my daughter. I did not need to hear excuses for why there was not enough oversight. What could be said to make up for my daughter to feel better about a group of her peers telling her horrible things? Why would I then send her back or send my other younger child to camp after this happened?My daughter with autism attended summer camp and was bullied. Several other kids took turns writing mean things about her and then left it for her to read. My daughter became upset and did not want to return to camp.It stands to reason that she was bullied more than this instance, and that this was simply the only time that was caught. When you enter the SC facilities, youll notice numerous counselors standing around talking and on their phones, but few engaged with children. Other reviews back this up.My husband requested a full refund based on these matters, but was informed by the CFO that he did not believe a refund was in order. In reality, our daughter was bullied for her duration at the camp, and only when the counselors finally caught it was it addressed. He stated that internal policies allowed them to keep the money. Therefore, we only received a partial refund because of their policies. Their policy also states that they do not tolerate bullying, although this did occur and to a child with a disability to make it worse.The barely above teenaged staff was aware of her condition (I wrote a substantial description on the sign up form) and are obviously not trained/educated on such things nor anything pertaining to the ADA. If they were, this incident would have never happened and my daughter would not have felt ostracized the entire time she attended camp. It is outrageous that a few hundred dollars and arbitrary policies are more important to this business than the emotional/mental welfare of a disabled child, particularly one harmed while under their supervision.If you want to send your child to a facility that condones the abuse of handicapped children, and which employs teenagers to keep your children safe, then SC is for you. If you have a shred of integrity, speak with your wallet and show these ableist crooks that the abuse of handicapped people is despicable.

My kids beg to come to this camp each summer! The staff is amazing and so friendly! They keep the kids busy doing all sorts of things (sports, crafts, field trips, swimming--you name it!). They make bedtimes and mornings so easy in my house during the summer...my kids are always worn out from a fun day at camp and practically fall in the bed and they are a breeze to get ready in the morning because they cant wait to go to camp!

After school care has made an AWESOME change for my grandson. The staff works with him, explains what he needs to do differently, lots of amazing acitivities everyday and fun ! He loves being there and and so do I ! Thank you Ms. Lauren, Mr. Joey and the rest of the staff! Keep up the good work.

My kids have been here for the past 9 years and we have tried other summer camps. Nothing compares to this. Excellent program!!

Went to go to the birthday party of my cousins little 2 year old boy, that was paid for in advance, and NO ONW SHOWED UP TO OPEN THE SPORTS CLUB KIDS!!!! Standing in the heat, cake and ice cream melting😡😡I would not give them any business nor would I recommend this place!!

Not worth the moneyMy child went there and it was an absolute zoo! Way too many children and not enough counselors. Counselors are a bunch of teenagers who stand around talking and not paying attention to the kids which is why they are getting hurt. There was bullying going on and the teenagers are oblivious to this and dont care. If you want your children to have a good camp experience - DO NOT SENDTHEM HERE!!!
