As a former student, I’m telling future students to do your research and look around at other schools before settling for this school.. Going to this school almost killed my passion for cutting. My personal experience showed me it’s all about the money, no concern for well being. Discussing financial aid was very unclear and felt shady personally.. The lack of professionalism when it comes to communication, wardrobe, and teaching was mind boggling. It was hard to feel proud of the school I attended when it looks so run down, not to mention the mold and rat droppings. There was a time I pointed out a mistake to the theory instructor, let’s just say she didn’t like that and did not acknowledge me for two days after. There were some good days but the bad far out weigh the good. I wish there was at least one male figure on the teaching staff, it’s only women/family. The amount of ppl that quit, transferred, or went OJT(on the job training) while I was there tells me my opinion is common with other students. I don’t take anything personal so I don’t have any hard feelings for the staff, but my concern is for the current and future students.

Service at B-Unique is always great to me. Shania should be proud of great work her student s are doing. And proud of self.

My experience at B-Unique barber academy was great overall. As I was seeking a school to attend barbering I was told since Im Marine Corps veteran, I was able to use my 9/11 GI Bill to pay for my tuition. I had the opportunity to learn other aspects of the barber industry I was unaware of throughout my time here. I was also given the opportunity travel out of state, meet other veteran barbers and receive additional barber training. Since I inspired to become a master barber I was able to learn some female services and styles as well. B-Unique provided a judgement free zone as well as tough critiques on our work. Also, they were understanding during personal hardships in my life. The people Ive meet here became my extended family I appreciate the staff for their patience and hard work. Thank you for this experience.

This establishment provides excellent service,however I do have one complaint. On the website and Facebook page the business hours are listed to open at 8:00am. I arrived today at approximately 8:03am and I was then told that the barbers dont arrive until 8:30. If services can not begin until 8:30 that should be the business hours. I was very upset that I had to wait a additional 30 minutes.

I love this place its so welcoming and the future barbers are wonderful with the cuts thanks to the instructors... Qua always gets my son right I recommend him for any service there

Im a veteran And Im also a student.. B-Unique Barbe is more then a school we are all family here and the school has a lot to offer.. great staff and all around comfortable here with everything they have for me and my career
