Ive enjoyed getting to know Annie Guarcello, the new Director of the Millie Lewis Modeling school who is very interested in the success of her students. She is professional and sincerely a kind person, beautiful inside and out!My daughter took her 1st modeling class and loved it! When it came to the photo shoot, I was nervous at first wondering how my daughter would do. However, Annie, Chelsey (photographer) and Elizabeth (Office Manager) all did a great job of making these new models feel at ease and so comfortable that they all want to come back for more!Thank you to everyone at Millie Lewis for your contribution in teaching our young daughters more about self-confidence and how to present themselves in a manner that gets respect.Wishing everyone at the Millie Lewis Agency a Happy Holidays and aHappy New Year!NH

Overall a great experience! The classes have taught me so much about the foundations of modeling and helped me become a more confident person, and the agency has provided me with many opportunities. Also, Barbara and George are a great duo and create such an energetic and inviting atmosphere.

My daughter has been going to Millie Lewis for a year and a half now, and usually my wife takes my daughter to practice and photo shoots. My daughter asked me to go to up and coming shoot. I went and it was not a pleasant stay. I sat with my other 2 children in the room where the parents were and had no issues at first. An employee of Millie Lewis announced there was a spare room for the kids to change into their clothes. My daughter changed in the spare room while I sat with my 2 other children. I walked to peek at my daughter taking her pictures and a Caucasian woman tells me I can’t come in because that’s the changing room. Which was clearly announced that parents may sit in there. My children were still inside and she wouldn’t let me in. My wife then walked in the room and then the lady proceeded to close the door on my face while I tried to get my kids out of the room. My children were crying as well as my daughter modeling. The staff then asked what happened and did nothing. It was clear because I was a black man, the woman must have felt threatened. They didn’t make the woman leave even after causing a scene. I had heard negative things about this place but wanted to try it for myself. I do not recommend this place at all. They charge for things you can make happen for yourself. They do not teach proper etiquette at all. They have mean and hateful children as well as parents who make others feel uncomfortable and the company does nothing. Millie Lewis is not fair with all of there customers and children should not have to witness the discrepancies of this company. Last year during a fashion show, they had a teacher grab a young lady by the arm improperly and she was left crying until her parent showed up. They guarantee nothing for your child, and truthfully you can do more for your child then they can. I am not writing this out of anger. I was truly shocked that this company is ran in this fashion.

Our experience today at Millie Lewis of Greenville exceeded our expectations by far! Kelly Wolff led our Girl Scout Troop in a class that was created especially for us and our girls to earn their Social Butterfly badge. From the first inquiry to the conclusion of our class every email, phone call and question was answered promptly and friendly. I cannot say enough about Ms Kelly...she was amazing with our girls today and was able to teach them so much during our time with her! She is a wonderful role model and the girls can take what they learned from her to school tomorrow morning, as they grow into young ladies, and into their adult lives. Thank you so much for everything!

The classes are more for confidence building than teaching you how to be a model. I will admit class changed me as a person ,and I am far more confident than I was before. However, I am extremely disappointed as I was scratched from the final production because I could not make it to the rehearsal. I had been sick the previous week and was not well enough to make it. Mind you I attended nearly every class (missing two due to personal reasons that I would rather not share). The class is very expensive, and I learned nothing about how to become a model or turn it into a career. The sessions were rushed, and not given enough time to for proper instruction to the number of students. (Maybe you should have two instructors per class?) No makeup artists were provided for the photoshoot, and we had to provide our own clothing for the shoot and the final production. (Which is a problem when youre 19 and already paid $400 for the class out of your own pocket.) If you want want to get anywhere as a famous model, I would suggest going to an agency in Atlanta GA or Charlotte NC. Overpriced and disappointing.

My daughter learned the basic foundations of modeling at Millie Lewis modeling SCHOOL. At 14 years old she also learned social etiquette and CONFIDENCE. Yes there was a charge for the classes and we treated it like any other extracurricular activity and it was very fun for her. I hate to hear when people get modeling agencies and modeling schools confused!!! Millie Lewis is BOTH a modeling School AND agency! You pay for modeling/etiquette classes and you DONT pay if you are a signed professional model. In fact Millie Lewis is the number one modeling agency in Greenville as well as having clients all over the country. Millie Lewis was a great starting point for my daughter and learned a lot about herself overall! If you want your child to learn the foundations of modeling and social graces, then send them to Millie Lewis Modeling School. If you or they are ALREADY a professional model (adult or younger) with a working portfolio, apply as a professional model to their agency as I’m sure they are always looking for new faces!

Millie Lewis is a great business composed of two parts: the school and the agency. (Which people get confused with the differences) The Modeling school at Millie Lewis is a program that is payed for just like any extracurricular activity (ex: soccer, dance etc.) they teach children, teens, and adults, beauty, building confidence, modeling(posing, photo shoots, about the industry) as well as acting. It’s a way for people to learn about the industry to see if they are potentially interested in modeling as well as just something fun to do!The agency is comprised of models and actors. It does not cost anything to be a part of the agency, the application is free. However, the classes are a great way to build experience, have a portfolio, and to show the owners they can trust you as a client. ML serves a lot of the local greenville area, but they do get jobs across the state, surrounding states, and even some out of the country. It’s very hard to become a big time model, and Millie Lewis is a great place to start! Clients come to ML with a specific type of model they are looking for, just how the market is anywhere else.Barbara and George, owners of ML are amazing people who will help anyone achieve there dreams, as a model or an actor. All you have to do is ask them how to get there, but the rest is up to you.I have had a great experience at ML. Their staff are the kindest most uplifitng people I have ever met! Barbara and George Corell are experinced and know the industry. They helped build my confidence and trained me as a model. Now I have participated in runway shows, fashion weeks, and payed photoshoots as a ML model! I recommend to all!

I went to Millie Lewis a few times, and I’ll admit that at first I was very nervous and anxious. But as soon as I walked through those doors it was very welcoming and I got to meet some the sweetest people I’ve ever encountered! All of the instructors are amazing at making the girls feel comfortable and don’t get me started on Annie who is absolutely a beautiful soul.
