I have a child who is not potty trained yet during my time of inquiry. Our desired start date was 6 mos to one yr since she had a pending medical procedure during that time. And I was ghosted.I signed up for a virtual tour. No one showed up. I called the center. Brittany was having lunch. I waited. She went online finally. The meeting went great. I got all the info I need and all my questions were answered. It seems like they take care of the kids well, the center looks clean and the staffs are wonderful .Prior to the end of our call, she promised to send me an email with all the information she presented. I waited and no email. I wrote her two times (cced the other staffs too) asking her politely to send me the email so my husband and I can go over it. No reply.And they have the audacity to send me an email saying that I didnt show up for the virtual tour. Hah! Oh this didnt happen to me but also to a friend. She was stood up for a virtual tour (she took a day off for this meeting) and was sent an email about missing it. I guess this is a common practice of the center to cover their inadequacy. Just unbelievable.Having read the most recent reviews, it seems like parents are happy with the center which is great. I am happy to know that the kids are well taken care of.The main issue is the professionalism of the management of this center. If no show up, no email reply and ghosting is not your thing then find a better place than this.My fear is that this unprofessionalism and unreliability of the leadership will stem through to the care of the children. And that is why I making this review.

The location has been great for our daughter. It was better than the original daycare we went with. The staff is great and nice with the infants and toddlers.Also constant updates with the staffs and able to check on your child via webcam is a major bonus that sold me. A bit pricey but it is worth it in the end.

La Petite Academy of Greenwood Village has been like family. My wife and I are from California so when we had our first daughter we knew we would need daycare. It can be a scary thing to bring your twelve month old to daycare. I remember being so sad in the parking lot after dropping her off. It didnt take long to realize how happy she was, even when she was so little. From that point on the teachers became like extra parents. They loved our daughter and helped us through parenthood.We are moving back to California and just had our last day. We had tears in our eyes because our child would no longer get to come to this special place.She grew so much during her year and a half at La Petite. She would always have new words and loved talking about her friends and teachers. I loved how much art they had the kids do, even at such a young age.Daycare is difficult, but it is easier with a loving community. I would highly recommend La Petite Academy of Greenwood Village to any parent.

We could not be happier with our daycare choice. We chose it because it was clean, the teachers were open, helpful and respectful, and it was in our target budget range. We loved that meals were a part of the deal, as it took an enormous weight off our shoulders.They feed my child nutritious food that she likes, keep her bottom clean, and have her engaged and happy. She has a huge smile when we arrive to the toddler room. We love their philosophy of open exploration and group activities.Their tracking app is great, sometimes we get pictures of her day which we love, and they’re easy to get in touch with via the messaging portion. Highly recommend.

Really good place and affordable. My 3 yrs old love her teachers and its a friendly environment. Best thing is snacks, lunch and diapers and wipes for preschoolers. The teachers help with potty training and you’re not in any kind of conflict. Teachers work as a team with parents specially with potty training issues. That was my biggest concern. La petite will be my choice every time i will think about a daycare.

I enrolled my daughter here after a horrendous experience at an in home daycare; they knew ahead of time what problems had developed at the old daycare and were ready to take on the challenges.2 months later- my daughter is speaking more, less reliant on her binky, and... finally not afraid of the potty. They have made amazing strides with her and she LOVES to go to school every day.

Don’t bother. Horrendous experience trying to get a tour. The person who scheduled us said there is multiple openings for infants. We show up and it was very clear they had no interest in giving us a tour. Negative body language and a general sense of chaos. Was told they have a significant waitlist and no openings. When I informed them that this was different from what I was told, she shrugged her shoulders and made a phone call while we stood there. Once again, don’t bother unless your options are dire.

We have been taking our daughter to La Petite in Greenwood Village now for 5 months and we are so happy with the way we have been welcomed into this family. The transition was very smooth, and they have been so good with developing our daughter. She has been with Ms. Dawn so far, along with other teachers in the later hours of the day, and it is very apparent that our daughter is happy here. Ms. Dawn has been great with communication and has been an integral part of our daughters development. There is a definite level of care and pride, which we are thankful for. Drop offs are met with big smiles out of our daughter and open arms from the teachers, excited to greet her. Pick Ups are great as well, big smiles and more times than not is being held by the teachers! As time has gone on, our comfort level has improved, and drop offs arent nearly as difficult as they were in the first few weeks. Thanks so much to the La Petite staff for making this experience rewarding for us!

I had my son come to La Petite because of a really good teacher that works there, unfortunately she is with the babies and not toddlers. Every parent is terrified of leaving them in the beginning. This place was a huge disappointment. Teachers don’t really watch the kids, my son has a incident report weekly. Either someone scratched his face up or someone would bite him and no actions took place. The teachers couldn’t even explain what happened.. The first week he was there I heard him crying and I peeked through the window and it was him crying the only kid left in the class, while the teacher was on the other side not even paying attention to him or comforting him. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone. I think the teachers are way underpaid and don’t care!!! My son goes to a new day care that is way cheaper and he loves it! He doesn’t come home beat up, and he doesn’t scream when I drop him off.

Completely disappointed. I paid the deposit in May for a January start date and they said I was first on the list and we would be able to start in January. Called in November to confirm some details and they said there were 5 families ahead of us and could no longer confirm a January start date! Now we are in a pinch to find a new center. I can’t believe their complete disregard for our family.

The infant rooms are incredible. The teachers are knowledgeable and treat the kids as if they were their own. I cant speak to the older rooms and the staff helping there.Management isnt quite as friendly and on off days can be downright cold which is off putting.Otherwise well run and generally good at communicating. I can attest that its great for infants.

We just started our daughter here and we absolutely LOVE this daycare! She used to cry and not want to be dropped off at her old daycare. On her second day here she ran and sat on her teachers lap. We get picture updates of what shes doing and even what shes eating that day. She actually learns here and all of the teachers seem so sweet and caring. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

Our daughter has been here since she was 5 months old. The ladies in the infant rooms have done such an amazing job with her. They really care for and love each one of the kids as their own. The director does a fantastic job of running the show. It was really worth the wait to get in.

We have been taking our son here for the past few months. The transition was smooth and we attribute this to the staff. They are so warm and welcoming and we can tell that our son is genuinely happy to see them each day. As a little baby we did not expect that they would do many activities with the little ones. However, they have done quite a few fun things to help the babies explore. The teachers also do a great job of documenting what they do everyday. It is fun to hear about our son growing each and everyday even though we cannot be present. We were also pleasantly surprised that they allowed us to bring cloth diapers. We wish that they taught baby sign language but we can teach it at home!

Definitely amazing academy for infants and toddlers, great friendly staff who welcome and send off with smiles everyday. My 4 yr old is going to this academy since past 1 year. I see a lot of confidence in him now compared to past year and turned very social now. My Sincere thanks to all the wonderful staff at La Petite - Greenwood Village.

I love the teachers dont get me wrong but there is a lot of irresponsables parents that take their kids sick to school and the school allows this! Im am very disappointed with this school because of it

Miss Mariah is amazing! I love how interactive and loving she is with my son. She also sends photos daily and updates during the day. I will be very sad when my son transitions out of her class! Because of her, my standards will be very high on the next teacher. I highly recommend Miss Mariah for your early preschool children.

This a great place to send you children and let them enjoy. They will work on overall development of the Child and has very supportive teachers. My son attended Early Pre School here and he loved it. His teacher (Miss Mariah) did a great Job and work on his overall skills. He became really fond of her and the School and it has been a real Joy for him and for us as well. I really want to thank LA Petitie for such a great work.!!! Keep up the good work. :)

I am interested in being an assistant teacher at La Petite not only because I went there as a child myself, but because it is obviously a child care facility that cares about the education and well-being of the children and even their parents.I have had a few discussions with the Director of this school and I am quite impressed at her level of profession and encouragement towards me to become an assistant teacher. Even if I do not get the position, she has had the courtesy to express what I would need to start this career and get my foot in the door. I can see she is passionate about her job and it makes me excited to be passionate about the same thing!

Our children have been attending this daycare for over 3.5 years, both since 3 months old. One of the most important things about a daycare is the staff. Caring, loving, and kind teachers make it or break it. We have been fortunate to have numerous consistent teachers throughout our time here that truly love our children. Our children are smart, confident, social, adaptable, creative, and independent from coming here. At the end of the day they share joyful moments about their day, everyday. There is an app that keeps you updated about meals, potty, naps, and activities. Sometimes they even send pictures or videos. A bonus, our kids now have rock solid immune systems. Daycares have a lot of turnover, and this La Petite is no exception. It’s frustrating and hard for the kids when teachers come and go but when new teachers come, our children grow to love them too. We’ve seen a lot of management changes. We’ve had at least 5 different directors over the years. When issues have come up I had to address them head on with teachers, directors, and regional managers. It’s never fun to share concerns but it’s essential to help staff improve. This daycare isn’t perfect but it has been wonderful for our family. There have been a handful of 1 star rating moments, countless moments of 5 stars, and everything in between. We are moving away and our children are sad to leave the friendships they have built here and the teachers who have helped them thrive.

Our sons have had wonderful daycare & preschool experiences at the Greenwood Village La Petite Academy! The teachers are incredibly kind and caring with the kids, plus the early education theyve received has prepared them very well for elementary school: socially and academically. We are very grateful to the staff at La Petite.

My daughter has been attending La Petite for the past couple of months and it has been a great experience overall. I am a first time mom and I had a lot of anxiety about taking my four month old to day care. If I would have known how smooth the transition would have been and how truly wonderful the staff are, I would not have had such bad anxiety. They truly care about each child they care for. My daughter has grown so much in just the few months she has been there. I have to give a shout out to Miss Dawn in the infant room because she has just been so amazing and I am beyond grateful for her and everything she does!

Canceled the class right after the first day. During the registration process, the staffs and management were not helpful and lack of communication. The teachers seemed like dont care when my kid cried nor welcomed us on the first day. From the facility to the childrens toys are dark and dirty. Not many activities during the day for the children and pictures are only available sometimes or by request according to the staffs.

My daughter is attending Lapetite for 3 months now. I see great progress in communication as well as social skills. She has become more extrovert and I am really happy to see progress in my daughter.She loves to go to Lapetite and very happy with teacher and friends she has made here.

Unresponsive administration and staff who do not communicate effectively and seem to lack attention to the childs individual needs. I tried to speak with my daughters teacher this morning and, after only a few seconds, she turned her attention to a piece of paper she was holding and seemed to completely ignore everything I was saying. I eventually left before we could address the issue because she was no longer paying any attention and appeared she could care less about my concerns. Based on interactions with various staff members It feels they genuinely do not care about you, or your child.Ever since management changed about 1 year ago the experience has been getting worse and worse with each day/week. If you see the other reviews you will notice a negative trend beginning approx 1 year ago as well.The list of complaints over the last few months could go on for a bit, suffice it to say that this location does NOT hold itself to the same high standards we would expect from La Petite. I would avoid this location until things have been addressed and corrected.

If I could, I would have given ZERO Starts. I went there for a tour - it took 5 minutes to get a tour that was given to me by a receptionist. While leaving, my heart was hurting for the children who were there and the parents who had to leave their kids in that facility. Dark, dirty, unorganized, no sense of caring whatsoever. The worst place I have seen so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly one of the worst schools .. Do NOT send your child here.. The place is beyond dirty. Most of the staff there are very rude and lazy. Do not let the pictures fool you this is not the place to go.

I love this school! Back in 2008 when I had to quickly transfer my son from a Montessori ECE school in the DTC due to qualifty of care issues, they stepped right in and helped me and my 2.5 year old son out the next day!Now that my son is at Southmoor Elementary, (close by, but not the neighborhood elementary school) they still go out of their way to support us as a family! Im very grateful for their flexibility and willingess to work out a regular school dismissal day enrollment schedule for my son. On regular school dismissal days ( DPS elementary schools have about 2 a month through the school year, plus Winter and Spring Breaks) my son goes to La Petite Academy at Greenwood Village so I can still attend work in the DTC without having to take a vacation day. They have made him a part of the class room with a pciture on his cubbie and a marked placed for his things. He loves Miss Christine and Mr. Scott and looks forward to his Apple Academy days and friends!We now call La Petite Apple Academy in our household since that is what my son recognized from their logo on the school bus which is used to service the before and after school care program they extend for the neighborhood DPS school students/families at Samuels Elementary.
