My Daughter has been with SALT for 7 years. Shes learned more than just dancing, singing and acting. They teach the importance of community, performing often in parades and at community events throughout the year. They encourage volunteering to help others. They offer classes for all ages and abilities, no one feels left out.If your child just does the arts for fun, SALT is the place to be. If, like my daughter, your child feels drawn to pursue the arts as a career, they provide guidance and training for that too. Onstage or behind the scenes there is a place for your family. The Staff is amazing. The rates are very reasonable. This business paragraph is short, because they are just so much more than just another Dance school :) I cant recommend them enough.

My girls love taking classes at SALT. The teachers they have had are knowledgeable, kind, and fun. I know that my girls are going to be taken care of and taught something new each class. I love the community feel of the program and think the cost is more than reasonable. Thank you SALT for teaching my girls.

SALT Academy is Wonderful!! Their Sensory, Dance & Movement class was recommended to me by a friend. My son has Autism, and was five years old at the time. Salt is the first community based activity we did with him. It was an amazing success! The dance teacher is wonderful with all of the kids, and was so supportive of my sons full participation. She assigned an older student dancer to help support him during classes. My son has auditory sensitivity and large places with lots of people and noise can often trigger a meltdown. His teacher made an announcement encouraging the entire audience to do a special sign language clap at the end of his first ever onstage performance, so he would be comfortable. Once on the stage she was his dance partner and stood by him throughout the performance, giving him tactile cues and prompts to support him as he had practiced in class. It was the best experience! We would have re-enrolled the next year although we moved. We came back a few summers later specifically for a week of Super Hero day camp put on by SALT Academy. Both my seven year old and my three year old participated and had a blast! This camp is when we were first encouraged to nurture my son in the performing arts. He was observed by one of his teachers to have a developing talent in this area. This prompted us to enroll him in a more local theater camp this past summer. His confidence has grown in this area and largely due to our wonderful and encouraging experiences with SALT Academy and their talented staff and student dancers. I couldnt recommend SALT Academy any more highly, they are amazing!

It is inclusive, they focus on the community as a whole and they welcome you with open arms, So many classes and shows to offer, definitely glad to feel associated with them. SALT of the earth!
