These negative reviews appear to be: 1) trolls who do not know the school and/or 2) potential hacking of accounts. Having three kids who attend, I can attest to the fact that the teachers actually care; the class sizes are smaller (approximately 13-15 per class), which works well for my kids; the school community is incredibly welcoming and not cliquey; and my children appear to be ahead of their peers who attend other schools. The school does work them hard, and they do have a lot of homework from fifth grade on (except for on weekends), but I have no doubt it is preparing them for high school and college.

I do not think this school is the best school to take your child. To give some background, I am a St. Paul alumni. I attended this school all the way from preschool 3s to 8th grade. I had never thought about how poorly St. Paul educates students until I went into high school. Yes, I understand that St. Paul is a catholic school, but they over push the education of religion, as well as handwriting, and left me of very little knowledge of what is really useful to know for high school and college. I did have some teachers, like my 7th grade literature/writing teacher (who was very rudely laid off after she had done so much for the school), my 7/8th grade math teacher (left the year after I graduated), and my 8th grade literature/writing teacher (still attends), who actually had taught me valuable information, but I felt as if I only have recognition of valuable math (only algebra) and writing ideas, that I as well needed for my other classes (especially sciences). The lack of education put into these classes have left me with a lack of knowledge for my honors and ap classes, along with low grades along the way, MULTIPLE panic attacks, and lack of preparation for high school, college and the application process. I, myself, do not feel that it is not fully the teachers’ fault, but who is in control of what the teachers have to educate the students on. I am not saying that St. Paul should revoke educating students on religion, but I suggest that the school/principal reflects on what the students should be taught. If not, I suggest that parents send their children to a different private/public school.

Ive been reading the reviews here and Im not sure what these people are saying other than their kids dont go to school there. Many comments here are cliches of students attending a private school. If it was really that bad people would just leave. Saint Paul provides a wonderful learning environment that is both safe and in control. The only people there are teachers who want to teach and students who want to learn. And because its a private school, both bad teachers and bad students can be asked to leave. My personal observation is that most of these reviews look politicalally motivated. So sad that people have to be that way.

Is a great school, amazing environment with friendly teachers and staff. I went here for 11 years and I have grown in my faith and in my education here.

Do not send your kids here. I’ve only been here two years but already feel myself losing brain cells. The middle school kids are all socially awkward. There are no social skills whatsoever! Send help! Sos!
