I have a kindergartner who has quite a long bus ride to and from school. (An hour each way) however, my daughter loves her bus driver (Mr. Tom) so much that she refuses to let me take her to and from school even though it would mean extra sleep, and more free time at home. Yesterday she brought home a project she made at school called Why I love Kindergarten... listed as the number one spot I have a really nice bus driver. Huge shout out to Mr. Tom for making my daughter so happy that despite what I would find an awful commute, she absolutely loves being a bus rider. (It also makes my life 100% easier with my work schedule). I cant say a lot about the entirety of the southwestern public school transportation department, but I can say the experience we have had this year has been wonderful.

Not an easy place to find a little confusing on where to enter and exit the parking lot however all the staff was very helpful

A good place to work if you dont hang out with all the hens and roosters in the lounge. Come in and do a good job, leave when you are done.

Just make sure your able to wait on your first check, it takes a month before you get it.

I been calling south western transportation for over the year letting them know I observe with their bus drivers safety issues last year I watch dus driver stop and put out her stop sign with no hand single although she do it now but I had to make serval complaints Brown road is a very busy and dangours road as in morning time everyone rushing speeding going crazy 45 miles a hour how I made transportation aware of the activities on brown with track due to the bus drivers actions of making sure children are safe I witness Three times people blowing her stop sign ask transportation if she reported any of that yesterday and the answer was a stiff no also the receptionist that pick up the phone show no concern for safety as well I was explaining to her what my complaint was as she ask her answer was in a very none concerning flare way is I could go on to their website to try to get bus stop change to other side period after I explain to her the very serious deadly issue there was three kid all siblings mauled down by a car running bus stop sign just another day I made his complaint yesterday I was not aware of until my niece told me after I told her the story of common transportation yesterday I don’t think that transportation and city schools is taking the safety of our children seriously how when bus 20 the driver for brown and Richmond has repeatedly after being reported and video pull her stop sign in accomdating motorist while kids are still trying to find their seat I have watch drive off in a hurry while they are still up and walking these are Elementary kids I have tape watched called now I’m sending this to the news to be reviewed so we can put a stop to our kids bus driving taking our kids safety for granted just this morning I had to give a group of kids ride to school cause it was rainy pretty hard some parent toll their children in after the time got to get crazy 7:53 bus is there must time that’s still late it’s suppose to be 7: 45 today it 8:30 the bus still wasn’t there I call transportation. The same tired no concern for the children Receptionist answered this is what she had to say let me check all the bad all the buses are late because of flooding so I don’t know when she’s gonna show up then I ask her could you check she didn’t came back into 2.12seconds say sorry she not near there yet I don’t know what to tell I ended the call picked up the children from bus stop took them in as I seen may dropping their kids off to from the same bus different stop the children said then come home at the door I witness Bus 8 how was on time stop sign get blown by a speeding big white van he did blow at the.driver I. A temp to get him to stop but he spread through I would not have posted this or took it any where but it’s clear there is a lax of concern to make a few small adjustment for the lives and safety of our children play attic. Parent there is a lot going on concerning your child’s bus ride to and from school far as safety

This transportation department is terrible. They are a joke. Dont know where kids are, kids on the wrong buses, late buses, its just ridiculous. If I could give them negative 10 stars I would. They dont have enough sense to be trusted with children.

I would give them no stars if I could.they wont tell your if your child bus is late till they get home and one of the drivers screams at the kids for talking so I would reccomend anyone who can driver there kids to school to do it
