This is the first company in Tampa Bay that I felt absolutely comfortable attending because the people welcome you with open arms, warm hospitality, and unceasing joy. The student’s devotion radiates through their passion for dance and immaculate training. St.Petersburg Ballet Conservatory is the best of the best and it’s only growing more and more!! This place is wonderful! Our 2 daughters started dancing here last year and it’s been a great experience for all of us. They enjoy coming to their classes and are getting world class training at the same time. They put on several performances a year and we love having those opportunities to watch them on stage. We’re happy to be part of the SPBC family and we highly recommend it to all!

Went to the nutcracker show and was blown away by the production as a whole! Not only was there so much talent from the dancers (both young and old) but the costumes and music and the energy that went into the show was phenomenal. I felt immersed in it. They make you feel like you are a part of the show, and with the conservatory being a family run business, you also feel like you’re a part of this family and dance community. Can’t wait for the next show!

I’m a former dancer, dance instructor and mom of a pro level dancer/aerialist, and a professional dance photographer. My exposure to elite ballet conservatories is vast, and I’ve met hundreds of dancers, artistic directors and school owners throughout my career. This conservatory is one of the most ambitious, high level training facilities I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Everyone from the Founders, the Artistic Director and staff, to the students and the supportive parents are 100% invested in the success of the students as well as the school. The energy is pure joy, the students improve very quickly and have pre-pro-top level classical technique, and the 4 annual performances they produce are better than many small professional companies I’ve seen. More importantly, the emphasis they place on the overall development of each student is the most nurturing, well rounded I’ve witnessed. It’s a total pleasure working in their space, with their dancers, and collaborating with the directors.Don’t hesitate to take your child to this school for a trial class! The instructors at St Petersburg Ballet Conservatory are fantastic.They are challenging, encouraging, positive, fun and motivating. I have seen ballet dancers leave other studios for St. Pete Ballet Conservatory and then experience tremendous growth in their ballet development under their instruction at SPBC. I have been very impressed with their productions. Would highly recommend St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory.

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is. I am always looking forward to coming here to work hard every class I take. Horrible experience and would not recommend. This place is highly overrated with very repetitive and stagnant teaching from the main teacher. The teacher Servy and director Brian were extremely rude during my time there. Servy completely humiliated me in front of the whole class about an injury I had and proceeded to yell and complain about it and told me to just “go home” not even two days in their intensive! What kind of business operates on rudeness like that?

The staff, dancers, family and friends epitomize what St Petersburg Ballet Conservatory is about: Family! The dancers are supportive of each other. Family and friends of the dancers pitch in and help behind the scene to make the studio and amazing shows run smoothly! The ballet training is excellent. Both of my daughters have improved immensely in their knowledge and technique and are always excited to attend class. Servy and Alexandra Gallardo are amazing instructors and talented artists inspiring my girls to work hard to achieve their goals. Thank you! We came from Chicago to St Pete looking for a dance school.that could give our daughter all that our previous did but honestly needed a little more structure in her technique. Little did we know that just down the street here in Gulfport, we would find not only an absolute 5 star dance studio/ ballet conservatory but also a home/family. To be a part of this family, watching our girl grow socially, emotionally, physically and artistically is beyond anything we could have even manifested. We are so grateful for SPBC!

This is truly an amazing dance studio. As a dancer myself, especially one that has needed to make up for lost time, Servy is a wonderful teacher. It does not matter if you are already in shape, getting started, or want to come back, he WILL work you like you have never been worked before and he will pull the amazing dancer out of you. All you need is a desire to work!

SPBC is a hidden gem in this community. We are so blessed to be able to learn the art of dance in such a fantastic studio. Its one big happy ballet family!

We absolutely Love SPBC! The level of professionalism from a Beginners Level with Allexe at the helm, all the way to the Advanced Levels is unlike any studio we have been involved with across multiple states. This, coupled with the family atmosphere that the girls/guys and Moms bring has kept us here indefinitely. We are very thankful to have found this gem.

I cant speak highly enough of the Conservatory. My daughter joined in August and almost immediately she gained confidence and regained her love for ballet The high level of teaching and mentoring from Servy Gallardo is priceless to the young ladies under his direction. As a family we have enjoyed the family-like atmosphere that the Conservatory strives for and succeeds at. We are grateful everyday that we found such a well balanced and talented environment for our daughter.

From the beautiful second story ceiling studios and sprung flooring to the excellent, professional instruction that focuses on training that creates a physically and emotionally well balanced dancer, to the family feel and the mutual respect fostered by the faculty, this is a place I feel as happy and confident in my children going to as they are to be there. As a former professional dancer and now professor of dance and mom, I wholeheartedly recommend SPBC to anyone looking for a ballet home.

SPBC is the BEST!!!! Spending time at SPBC is always one of my most cherished times every week. Everyone is kind, positive and incredibly welcoming. I feel like weve been going for years and its only been a few months. Teaching traditional ballet concepts in a way that is fun for kids is tough enough ....but doing so in such a loving and caring way is something that most dance studios can only dream to achieve. The St. Peteraburg Ballet Conservatory hosts beautiful ballet programs throughout the year that we have had a chance to attend this past year !

My daughter has been at SPBC for 2 years and I can’t thank them enough for their time, commitment, effort, & passion. Servy and Allexe are such professionals and also fantastic role models for children of all ages. These dancers are learning from the best, & having so much fun doing it. The shows are top notch. It’s a tremendous payoff for all their dedication.

This is by far the best ballet training facility St. Pete has to offer. If you want a wonderfully positive and professional environment then this is the place for you. Servy and Allexe are amazing instructors and are some of the most kind and caring people you’re ever going to meet. No matter your level or age, they offer something for everyone. You can tell they truly love what they do and I feel so honored that I can train here! I recommend this place to everyone I know, once you experience the St. Pete Ballet Conservatory, you won’t want to go anywhere else.

This place is truly one of a kind!! Servy, Allexe, Brian and Anna truly care about each one of their students and their wellbeing and treat you like family. As soon as you walk in you can immediately sense the community and passion for dance. Servy Gallardos training method is unique and quickly builds technique, stamina, strength, and artistry. The performance opportunities are so diverse and unique! I am so incredibly grateful that I found this place and for this incredible family... I would not be who I am today without it!

Servay is an amazing instructor. Calm and patient with students, yet has high expectations. My kids love his style and the nicknames he gave them. The school is amazing! So beautiful and so much opportunity to grow over time. This is a hidden jem that I dont expect to stay hidden for very long. Big things await...stay tuned!

What can I say about SPBC...The Meltons...Brian, Anna, Brandon & Brianna...plus Servy & Allexe...there is no better place for ballet training! They had a vision and made it reality...proud of them all!

This dance conservatory is absolutely beautiful! The expanse of the facility is so impressive. Any ballet dancer could feel so free and unconfined in this beautiful area. The artistic director, Servy Gallardo, is such a great asset to this fine program. If you want your child to receive excellent instruction in a beautiful facility, then St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory is the only choice.

The St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory is the best training facility for ballet in the area! Servy Gallardo, the Artistic Director, is the most caring and educated teacher Ive ever worked with. Allexe Gallardo is amazing with the little kids as well! The environment is so positive and uplifting that it makes it easy for anyone to fall in love with ballet. Not only does the conservatory provide many performance opportunities for the dancers, but it also allows students to openly be themselves while in a professional environment. Not to mention, there are a wide variety of classes for all ages! The students and staff are all personable and genuinely want to help one another. Between the exceptionally large studio space and the Blue Theater, the conservatory is a place that I believe everyone will want to be a part of once they experience it.
