Finally! Eastwick College LPN 2020 Graduation was upon us. Very proud moment! Thank you God for making this possible. Thank you Mr Eastwick and all staff for your team effort and a special thank you to my family for their love and support for which it would not have been possible for me to see my dream of becoming a nurse to fruition. Excellent and beautiful experience.

I’ve started my medical assistant program here after Lincoln Tech Paramus treated me so badly. So far it’s been great! They really help you out in every and any aspect. They always follow up non stop and make sure they available to you even after their workday is done or during their lunch break. Ms. Lee is by far the best and most fun professor I’ve had. She teaches you in ways that it automatically gets stuck in your brain and makes phlebotomy pretty damn fun. Any medical field you want too get into Eastwick got it. Highly recommend!

The failing grade for the classes in the RN program is a 79, and if you don’t get 100% on some tests they count as a 0% on your grade. Do what you want with that information.

I went into Eastwick at 19. My my initial goal was to get into the LPN program upon failing my Entance exam twice in order to go to enter to the LPN program I did decide to do the MA program which if you keep your grades at a C average for all your classes you can then bridge on to the LPN program and the MA program takes about a year and then eight months if it’s in the morning. I could not pass and Entrance exam because it was so hard the curriculums was very very hard and there are other schools out there where you don’t have to take such a hefty entrance exam. When I was in the Ma program it was so easy-going you can really just sit there and you could literally pass and I think a lot of students that were in the MA program had that instilled in their mind so when they did end up you know getting into the LPN program we were just very blindsided. if you are or if you are going to decide to go to the school to the MA program just know that The Ma program is very easy-going but I would take that year or those months to prepare for the LPN program because it is it requires much more and it’s not that the tests are hard it’s really much you know you putting in that effort although this has transpired I did end up withdrawing from the class because it was just too much to handle. I then went to other schools and the entrance exam was so easy I passed of for two different LPN programs the entrance exam the first time. the teachers are great they are very educated and they pushed their students you will learn a lot from the school just a heads up if you are doing the MA to LPN LPN bridge just know it iJust know it is you know really really you know a lot and you’re going to be having to study and make sure you submit your homework on time and just make sure you’re ready because the MA program is nothing compared to the LPN program. The first semester of the lpn program I believe 25% of the students either failed or withdrew. Also you need a laptop not the sh**** one they gave you and a printer available cause the teaches would want you to print out the homework hand it to them when you can just email it ( they’ll make everything 10 times harder. I invested money in both and I will say it was a learning experience to get a feel because I am ready now. I start in September Good luck to you all!!( p.s if the grammar is horrible I used a microphone device which wrote everything for me).

Im so disappointed with this school.....I’m a brilliant student but what I hate the most is that the professor tells you to study what they give in class, but when the test comes is something totally different from what they give it. They just wants to make you fail the class and to get the money like is easy for us to get the money. The counselor tell you “ that every one help and want to make the student succeed” that’s BS. It doesn’t matter if you kill you self studying you still going to fail the class.

My overall experience at Eastwick College has been excellent. The professors, staff and other students are so welcoming and always more than happy to answer any questions that you have about the enrollment process or just about anything. The majority of professors that I have had here are great and genuinely care for their students. While classes are tough, the professors are very helpful in making sure you understand the materials. The campus is very clean and the building is beautiful. Choosing this school has been one of the best choices that I have ever made in my life!

My experience at Hackensack Eastwick College was amazing! I love the staff from Professors, administrators, Deans, secretaries even down to the cleaning people, they are very respectful and friendly & they are always open to help you with anything that you need. From the first phone to the tour I knew that I picked a great school to attend. When I graduated from there they help me get a job in my field right away. They also keep the campus very clean from inside & out, If they had a four year program I would definitely go back. I would highly recommend anyone to go there you wouldn’t regret it I promise you.

Unprofessional and admission people are very disorganized. Plus very expensive school for lpn program and when you dont pass 1 class you have to pay 250 per credit this is a business and money maker school

I am a former graduate from Nutley. I cannot complain about my services at this school. The front desk receptionist is so pleasant. I met with one of the BEST Admission Reps Venus. From the moment I sat with her my process was smooth. Any questions and concerns I had were answered. Even when she went on vacation she had one her colleagues follow up with me. That speaks volumes on how important students are to her. She has such a vibrant spirit and definitely wants any student that sits in her chair to succeed. Go see Venus shes the BEST. I look forward to continuing my education at this College. The financial Adviser Diane was welcoming and helpful.

Highly Recommended I came to Eastwick College as a student in 2011, I quickly noticed the high level of professionalism and how knowledgeable the staff and faculty were, they were caring and willing to take the extra step in assisting me with whatever my needs were. The class I took was excellent and essential in the work place, upon completion of the class I was offered employment with Eastwick to which I am still here 5 1/2 years later. I am forever grateful for the opportunity Eastwick gave me in learning a new career in Financial Aid and in closing I will say I will highly recommend Eastwick College as a great school that offers an excellent learning experience.

This is my 4th module with The Eastwick College Culinary Program and I couldn’t be more impressed! The chefs(teachers) are extremely knowledgeable and exhibit genuine care for their students. They go out of their way to accommodate the students and are often flexible. The class sizes are very small that allows for individualized attention. In addition, the culinary program places students in externships that often lead to job placement. The chefs encourage the students to try new things and are hands on. I find that they are truly invested in the students success. If a student is struggling the chefs and even the program director will work individually with the students, which you don’t often find. This is a college level program and those interested in attending should expect that level of work. The front desk receptionist is super sweet and always greets the students and inquires about their day.

It is a pleasure to review Eastwick College. If there were 10 stars to give it specially to the Culinary department. I just finished my degree and I couldnt be more satisfied with how much I learned from all the professional chef instructors. All are well experienced in the industry, well connected with so many and well educated at CIA and Johnson and Wales. I never missed a day and learned something new each day.The care the program director gives to each and EVERY student is so amazing and unexpected. She is will to extend herself above and beyond. I achieved more than even my expectations because of her high expectations of me. I miss her, Eastwick and everything about the Culinary department ever since I finished.I am totally grateful to all of my professors and chefs at Eastwick, I will never forget you guys!Arline Roman

This school did not only rip me off but ripped a few other people that I know. I was in 2 year program to get my associates degree for culinary and on my LAST semester, they withdrew me from my program without permission due to absences because I was hospitalized. I requested a leave of absence but was denied. after all the run arounds with this school, i had to go back and REREGISTER as a NEW student. Along with those additonal fees to be paid, on my first day of classes I was asked to leave because they never even registered me on the computer. It was ridiculous. This school has given me a headache since the first semester. From teachers quitting left and right all the way to the shortage of classrooms every semester. Now instead of graduation October 2018 (as scheduled), I will now be graduating April 2019. These people will milk anyone paying out of pocket for any last penny. I am insulted because all tuition costs are paid out of pocket due to the fact that I receive no financial aid. For a program that costs over $31,000, I should have received a way better education that I got.UPDATE TO REPLY: I have tried to schedule meetings in which I have tried to attend, but upon arriving, either no one knows of the meeting or the person I was supposed to speak to has already left. I was never offered a leave of absence THOUGH I was absent for less than a whole month due to hospitalization. My doctor notes were turned away. I have read the handbook cover to cover and am aware of the federal regulations you speak of. The negligence of the school is what cause most of my frustration due to the fact the school did not give me any option rather just withdraw me against my own will. I had a 3.7 GPA and am a fantastic student grade-wise. I was on my last semester only to get pushed back another 6 months for graduation. The school is very unprofessional and was only interested in taking the money being received.

I personally do not recommend this school. Went to this school twice and was never able to get a job. I recently registered for the LPN program. Asked the owner if he would give me a discount for any help towards the tuition because I had gone to the school before in the past and never got a job in the field I had graduated from and he refused. Not even 10%. My fiance had died of cancer and this put me in a hole financially. I begged and even offered to have the school take money from my paycheck once I got a job but he refusedThomas Eastwick is very concerned with money than actually helping you to succeed. My admission advisor was Venus. She seemed very nice but all she was concerned about was me writing her a good evaluation to the owner. After reading the reviews about her I now see why. For months had me running back and forth, doing things that was not necessary in order to make her appear as she was being helpful meanwhile it was only to further herself. Financial aid department not very knowledgable. Their knowledge base is limited to the computer. I had consolidated all my loans and by doing this it took me out of default status. Diane didnt believe me and refused to even look it up. After begging her multiple times to check she finally did and saw this was true. She jad no idea what an IBR was or the fact that after consolidating your loans and after maxing loans you qualify for a reaffirmation to continue getting loans. Someone gave me a great analogy when referring to this school. You buy a car. You spend thousands on this car. You read the reviews and they say the car is horrible but you still buy the car wasting thousands. After you find out the car is crappy you reach out to the owner who after he has all your money no longer wants anything with you. Then you buy the same car again expecting a different outcome but the results are still the same. The car is crappy and you still cant drive it. Why would you buy that crappy car again for the third time. Read reviews. Remember this is an imvestment that you can never get back and can harm you in the future. A schools reputation is imperative to your outcome cause enployers read them to. Read reviews, check their placement. If a school has only 7 reviews and 6 out of 7 are bad. That says alot.

Was looking for a place to upgrade my credentials and improve educational profile. I took the tour and was not impressed. Went to main campus in Hackensack. No sign for vistor parking (a sure indicator they are squeezing every cent from the operation). The tour was a walk around several rooms with spartan facilities. Most of the students appeared to be part of a medical training program. I saw only two classrooms plus an area for medical equipment instruction. Library is a corner cluster with slightly filled bookshelves, Their association with Eastwick College seems extremely limited. By the way, they left a nasty note on my car saying I shouldnt park at their school. I walked away...you may too,

After passing to the teachers (the teacher of Laws is strict what is said twice) but excellent if you pay attention you will learn a lot. (Mrs. Ortega excellent teacher the best, super understanding bone another roll) in general all the teachers are excellent, I read the bad comments and the truth is sad that people see the bad but do not realize that a school is like the marriage is two, if you put effort will be a success now if you do not care in advance I tell you that you will fail because this is two and the desire you have to get ahead.
