Our family have been attending for over four years. My daughter and son go to both locations. We started off in academy dancing then graduated to competition. It is a very safe, clean and high quality studio. Costumes are always on point, many of the dances are like pre “So you think you can dance” show type of serious dancing. It’s a big community and had a long standing name for about 40 years. Listen, when we go to competitions we want to be challenged and recognize great talent and all learn from each other. Many returning dancers come teach and are on Broadway or other very serious professions. If you want the real deal to dance in a environment that also trains leaders who train hard and give quality effort then this is the place.

Miss Janet ,along with Miss Madison went out of their way to provide a dance class experience for my twin grandchildren. They were able to personalize this classroom experience for them which is so helpful and important ,especially with the way of the upside -down -world with the pandemic. To see the twins so happy and energized with what they accomplished with Miss Madison was terrific. I feel that Miss Madison‘s teaching skills are exemplary, & with the guidance of the director Miss Janet , then school truly provides unlimited dance experiences!

I cannot speak highly enough about this studio and what they have done for my daughter. She has excelled tenfold in her technique and has blossomed into an amazing dancer. I would highly recommend Dance Unlimited to everyone who has a child interested in any genre of dance. The DU Crew is definitely the place for you!

I’ve been dancing at D.U. since I was 6 and was apart of the competition team. I have now stopped dancing there but from my experience it was a pleasure! The teachers and staff push every student to do their best and be the best they can be. Once I have left at age 10-11, I’ve been still going to D.U.’s competitions to support and help my dance family! D.U. had no idea that I was coming, so I surprised some of my friends and the teachers... and let me tell you they were very happy to see me and my mother. I came prepared in my competition team jacket to help backstage and help in the dressing rooms with the Sweethearts and darlins. Overall I highly recommend Dance Unlimited because you get great technique improvement and get to meet amazing people❤️

Dance Unlimited has been a part of my life for 38 years as I started on the day it was opened and am an instructor on staff. To say it has the most talented dancers and staff would be an understatement. You absolutely need to check it out for yourself! I am proud to say that my daughter been part of the Dance Unlimited family for the last 10 years and I am so grateful for that! Here is where we teach our students how to be confident, determined and committed all while teaching them the art and love of dance!

Dance Unlimited is a very diverse studio. The teachers on staff are talented and dedicated. They want each and every student to excel, whether it be in the Academy or Competitive program. Having been involved with Dance Unlimited since its opening 38 years ago attests to the fact that it is a wonderful studio. It offers something for every student at every level.

Dance Unlimited has been part of my life for over 20 years. I danced there as a child and some of my favorite childhood memories were made in that studio. My daughter has been dancing for the past 7 years and she absolutely loves Dance Unlimited. My daughter has been dancing here for almost 4 years. We came from a different studio and her improvement in just the first year alone was amazing! The studio owner, the teachers and all the staff are truely the best! Everyone made us feel right at home, part of the family, from day one! We love DU!

My granddaughter started at Dance Unlimited 11 years ago. Started as an Academy (dance for fun and learning about dance) student. She began with the their regular dance class (The ballet, tap, jazz,). Then she added in hip-hop. She was asked on many occasions to join the competition Team, but she did not want to at the Time. Four years ago she tried the rising star competition team which is a beginner competition team. She did that for one year and fell in love. She now Dance is on the competition team does a solo and small group hip-hop. She has grown so much and learned so much and made so many new friends. I would recommend anyone interested in trying out dance or competing in dance to try out Dance Unlimited!

Dance Unlimited is the best dance studio in CT. I grew up dancing here and now am able to share my love of dance with my 5 year old daughter as well as my own students. This studio creates a wonderful family atmosphere. Dancers not only learn dance but many life lessons as well. DUCREW!!!

My daughter loves it here and we recommend to anyone interested in reacreational or competitive dancing. We left here for somewhere closer to home but came back because there was no comparison locally and DU is worth the drive. There is lot to remember if you are new and always something going on for the year so you are kept on your toes. Teachers are awesome. Competition mothers/families are helpful and friendly.

Amazing instructors, Amazong technique, this studio caters to diaper dancers 18 months to Adult classes from beginners to elite competition. This is the place to make lifelong friends and memories.

This studio is like my second home! Ive been here since i was 2 years old and i can’t imagine dancing anywhere else. The people i’ve met through this studio will be my life long friends and not only have i learned amazing technique in each genre, but i have also learned life lessons. I wouldn’t trade my 15 years here for anything else!

10/10 do NOT recommend... the teachers are nasty and only think about the business rather than the students... personally dealt with some of the rudest and selfish people

My 10 year old daughter danced for 7 years (3 competitively) at another local studio and I was not happy with the technical training she was receiving. This past year she took a recreational ballet, tap and jazz class for an hour a week at Dance Unlimiteds Branford studio. She learned more technique in that one hour class from Miss Nikki than she learned in all the years at her prior studio.

As with the Branford studio, Dance Unlimited Hamden studio is a great place for your children to learn dance, acro etc.and make lifelong friends. From the director, Miss Janet to all the talented and awesome teachers, including Miss Erica, who runs the Branford studio, your children wll have an experience they will always remember.

This has been my grand daughters home for many years and she wouldnt want it any other way.
