Adelita or Whatever her name is is incompetent. Definitely working for the company but the company remains uncompliant against any complaints. But then again she does support a brother that nearly killed someone.

Ignore this bad reviews they were awesome! They helped me get my desk and we’re super helpful. The guy who helped me even brought it out to my car and loaded it in for me. Super great team 10/10 would go back again!

Waited 20 minutes to get copies because self serve was broke. Customer in front me was cutting up so I left empty handed. Do better just ridiculous!

I have been here for over 40 minutes, simply trying to ship something via fed-ex. Horrible customer service.

The two guys who worked the closing shift 5/24/2021, went above and beyond to help me print some documents that I needed for an early morning appointment. Great staff!

I used the self-serv printing area at this store and it was horrible.I normally use the Office Depot in Covington to print copies and the area is neat,clean, and plenty of supplies. The Hammond location is all together different. The area was a mess, there were no paper clips, stapler, or any supplies of any kind. Only the empty containers wear supplies were supposed to be.Staff was no help at all.HORRIBLE STORE!!!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service--especially the printing department. Went in Thur night, three people behind the counter, 4 customers waiting. employees never acknowledged any of the customers, never said a word (sorry, be with you in a moment or something. Anything!) DID NOT acknowledge there were customers there in any way, BUT would occasionally look up to see who was there, and with a rather dirty look as though we were inconveniencing them, no less! FINALLY after 25 minutes when I asked about lamination services, and showed an example of EXACTLY what I was asking for, I was told. I dont know....maybe....$15 dollars? NO idea of the cost and couldnt even figure out what the cost actually was.Tried to go in again Fri morning, assuming thered be different employees (There were) and hopefully fewer customers (There werent) Same thing. When I just asked one employee at the counter who was shuffling papers if I could just drop off and pick up later, he pawned me off to another employee who was already busy trying to make prints on a copier he didnt know how to use. I left...I didnt have time to wait for yet more incompetence.Horrible, horrible company with clueless undertrained employees who dont even pretend to care about employees or their job.

Today I went in to purchase a pack of copy paper. I picked up a pack that was lying on the shelf and proceeded to check out. I was greeted by a very unfriendly cashier. She never made eye contact and acted as if it was a chore to wait on me. The paper wouldnt ring up and she stated that she would be right back. I followed and she explained to me that the paper wasnt for sale, it is paper that the store uses to make copies. I totally understand and thats when the manager in a hurry told me that I cannot buy it. So he handed me a pack of paper that was also left on the self (not in its home location) and started to walk away. I asked if he could check me out and he said no, I am going to lunch. I then proceeded to the check out for a second time. The cashier was worse this time around than she was the first time. I stated that I didnt know that I had to wait inline again (no response) from her. I work in customer service and own my own business. I would never let any employee treat customers the way they did. Always remember that a first impression is a lasting impression that can build or destroy a business. I hope that they can find happiness in another job!!!

After reading these reviews, it seems I had a similar experience. I went to the Hammond, La. store 12/26/20. The guy at the register was helping the lady ahead of me w/enlarging photos. Another employee came to a different register & promtly left w/o looking my way. I stood in line for at least 30 minutes. There might have been 3 customers in the store. I went to find the other employee & found her sitting on the floor stocking a shelf. She informed me Id have to leave what I needed copies for because it would take time. She would not get off the floor. I told her Id wait for the copies. She emphatically refused. I went to UPS & eventho they were busy, their employee had no problem making copirs for me. I wont go back to Office Depot again.

Good local Office Depot here in Hammond. Can get all your latest electronic and office needs here but at an expensive price perhaps out of your fancy.Have decent printing service and staff are generally kind and helpful. Decent restrooms in the back. Overall good service...

Have always had great service here for the last two years that I have fed-ex a package the girl was always friendly and helpful and my packages always got there in time. now it has changed i and i will be using usps from now on. they moved the girl to a checking and put two young boys back there that have no clue and the first packaged i mailed go screwed up.

Purchased a print cartridge. Left the store. Come right back after realizing I had the wrong model. They refused to allow me to swap it out! My company spends thousands with then each year. Im done with this freaking office depot. Hello online merchants!

The employees are generally very helpful, even if they dont have the correct answers every time. Wide selection of products, but not many laptop choices (10 maybe? HP products) They have REALLY good sales on laptops though! Plus their employees are VERY kind and personal.

Slowest service ive ever had. Acted like I was an inconvenience to deal with.

Wanted to get a colored picture developed for a birthday cake. After waiting 20 minutes in line, I finally got up to the register and the man said my image was a copyrighted image but I have brought that same image in there at least 20 times before and was never told anything until now. The image that I wanted to print is the same company I have worked for for 3 years now and I have proof to use there images. I will not be doing business with this office depot again.

Not a prime store or location to justify a large staff, they do well enough with what they have.

They have an okay department. the service can be better but it is what is ultimately is.

Stopped here to get a computer the associate is very knowledgeable on anything internal Wise from processor speeds to gaming graphics cards you name it is very knowledgeable on selling me a computer the only downside why they didnt get 5 stars as a fact that they had a limited selection of computers but the ones they did have are well worth the buy I bought an i5 processor and a Lenovo computer with 12 gigs of memory and add 1 terabyte hard drive for $399 today great deal excellent sale

Purchased a desk from the store and is out of stock has to ship it to my apartment. the desk did not arrive, but says it was delivered on the tracking and had to call the office depot number about this. they told me it was damaged. but never told through the email, it just said it was delivered and never give me any information about damaging the desk. called the number telling me to use credit card to reorder it and cant get a replace of the desk. had to get mail check which takes 2-3 weeks. really bad experience.

I tried to call in an order of flyers. The young woman in the print shop seemed confused by my request When I asked for the email address, she said she preferred to have orders like that dropped off in person so they can be proofed. Her lack of expertise re:printing flyers made me think I might want to proof them first, too. Better yet, I decided to order from another store. (Unfortunately, this seems to be the only option in Hammond)

Staff is friendly and helpful. Their store seems to be well organized and clear of clutter. There is also a FedEx and Post Office drop off location.

Average office depot with a good selection of furniture and chairs. The bathrooms feel like you could be mugged in them with how dark and dirty they were though.

The most rude and unhelpful experience buying a copy, print, and fax machine I ever had...I almost told the salesman walking the store to keep his machine...I never was treated rudely at Best Buy...which is where I will be going next time!

Terirble customer service. I asked for a 5x7 cardstock invitation it came back 5 x 6. It was manuallu cut and terribly done.When informing the manager and associate, they did not apologize or care at all yhat I have to waste the time to go back in and deal with the slow service with associates that dont care about their job.

Okay, so I just called the store five times during their normal business hours to ask about one of the services they supposedly provide. Three times no one answered (after letting it ring several times). Twice, a representative, whom I will refer to as She--a, couldnt answer this simple question and asked me to hold. After waiting a while with no one answering, I called back. This time She--as voice kind of trailed off when I asked about the service and said she would redirect my call to someone who could answer the question. Then … (wait for it) … she hung up. No redirected call. Nice customer service Office Depot @ Town and Country Plaza in Hammond, LA. /: Now I think Ill shop somewhere else.

I like this Office Depot mostly because the employees are more helpful than I have encountered at other Office Depot locations. Great selection and they are usually not crowded.

This place is dark and depressing. Theres hardly anybody working there so you cant get any help and theres hardly anybody working at the registers. it is the absolute worst Office Depot I have EVER been to.

Really, extraordinarily slow service at the print and copy area. Waiting forever for items that were supposed to already have been printed.
