My cousin use to go here many years ago and now my child goes here. This is her first day and just walking into the building very clean and polite. I know she will enjoy.

Academy of Dance is a great place for teaching kids how to dance. The teachers are awesome. My daughter loves AOD HipHop!

This academy is great, the staff is very nice with a family friendly environment. My 8 year old recently started taking a ballet and hip-hop class and is truly enjoying her lessons, teacher and classmates. We will be re-enrolling in dance in the fall and hopefully music or drama at some point also.

My son loves learning piano with Mr. Redcross. It is definitely the highlight of his week. Awesome job teaching young children to play and enjoy music.

Mr Redcross is an Excellent music teacher! I especially like how he pays close attention to details when it comes to teaching music! My child has really advanced in her piano lesson in just 6 months with Mr Redcross!

When starting out with learning music to achieve a personal goal, I thought that I could just go to any one. I didnt realize what good was until I had bad from a previous music school. From my horrible experience due to the lack of professionalism, good communication, and an excellence in quality, I realized that it was a massive road block to achieving the goal that I personally had. I believe that these experiences helped me to appreciate Mr. Redcross and his commitment to providing a quality education that far exceeds any expectations and that is also lasting even after you leave his school. The quality of his school does not just come from his knowledge of the subject, but for his passion in insuring that his students leave with an understanding of what is being taught; and to challenge them on how they can build on what they have learned. To study at Hampton Academy is an investment in the future that is forever lasting and inspiring.

To say that I was greatly impacted by this place would be an understatement. The instructors here personally invested into my life. They took ownership of their roles as mentors and guides. They prayed for me and challenged me to reach the very best of my potential. My personal confidence has increased and my social ability has flourished and I have HAMDA to thank for cultivating those things in me. I highly recommend this establishment to ANYone - young or old. I take voice lessons and my daughter takes piano for the past 3 years there. The Roscoes feel like family with quality instruction.

I am an older student also, and I am sure that I try Mr. Redcross patience with my MASTERY of lessons, but I never feel like he gets frustrated with me, he only continues to encourage me and offer positive reinforcements. This facility is a hidden jewel. I hope that more people will discover it. I support the summer camp and I am sorry that it was not to be this year because of COVID.I can only imagine the wealth of knowledge the students receive. I love this establishment, utilizing state precautions with unimaginably reasonable rates. I know that it has to be a collaborative effort on the part of Mr. and Mrs. Redcross for the success of this place.....wishing them continued success!!!

I am an older student at the Hampton Academy and am very impressed with the professionalism and passion of my instructors and the owners. I know with the help of my instructors that I will accomplish my goal of learning how to play the guitar and how to sing properly and confidently in my church choir. Weekly detailed and simplified homework assignments allow me to practice at home with confidence and ease. My family is impressed with my ability to play simple songs on the guitar and how I incorporate breath control when practicing assigned song selections. I am elated to be a part of this outstanding academy.

My grand daughter took piano lessons somewhere else for over a year. Then I found out about Hampton Academy of Music, Dance, and Drama. I live at the upper end of Newport News and drive to Hampton once a week for her lessons (its been over a year now). I am so please with the progress my grand daughter has made. From the warm and friendly staff to her instructor, we have been made welcome. I look forward to a long relationship as she continues to develop her skills at the piano.

My kids have been coming here for 7 years! This place is AMAZING!! They give high quality instruction and are given the opportunity to demonstrate mastery through their recitals. I highly recommend!! You will NOT be disappointed.
