The last two reviews are disappointing. My son and three of my cousins attended this school, and they had a good experience with the everyone. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but dont judge a book by its cover. Maybe if you were pleasant then you would get the same reaction. And, THOSE people as you clearly say are human just like you!!!

Considering I have been to this school the education is wonderful as it is the #1 school in Michigan, but the food is horrible and the bathrooms do need some attention

This is my school i am in the 7th grade and have been there since the 1st grade and i feel are school was amazing then it got poor on everthing there are so many staff but they left 6 grade last year with in and out teachers it took are school a long time too get a teacher to stay at are school now in 7th grade we lost one of are teachers because she had too find something better for her family then we got a substitute then a 6 grade teacher yook over and now we sre on breack and go back TOMORROW morning but get a new teacher then there is no heat in the winter snd are teacher says he will write us up for not taking off are coat and its cold 2017 PLEASE HELP HAMTRAMCK ACADEMY GET BETTER

As a parent, my experience at Hamtramck Academy was not welcoming. The office staffs were not welcoming toward parents especially the ones who didnt speak English. They seemed like they were forced to do their job. Ms. Percy is probably the worse person to sit in the main office. She seemed like she was annoyed every time a parent walked into the office. She never greeted the parents and I never saw a positive attitude from her.Todays incident was really upsetting to me. This morning Ms. Moulis called a parent an idiot for an accident due to slippery road. The parent did not speak English and kept saying sorry and she still was saying things like this is America, didnt you see all the space? Nothing major happened to her car but she still was being really nasty about it. I felt so sorry for the poor guy. His self-confident probably drowned. I dont want to go in depth with this issue but im talking about the things I saw.My recommendation would be to hire staffs who are tolerant towards the diversity of the students and the families in this community. She definitely took advantage of the person.

I hear my friends kids complaining about the food everyday and they said that the students bathrooms are horrible and the principal and deans do too much as a consequence.I really like that it is #1 in Michigan but it really does need effort.Period
