This school only wants money for fines. Id elaborate but it would take an entire page. They careless about education. Dont forget your card if your absent. Theyve lost them intentionally or due to poor filing. I met with a team of educated staff and taking in consideration of the fact their educated experience as well as their degrees, I was told that cyber school would most likely be the very worse choice for my child. Later I find many parents as their children enroll in high school this has become much more popular. The reason they suggested strongly against cyber school puts the cost on their budget. I did not know this. They have a very low educational rating & if there was a school that was making more money with fines I am almost sure they would be @ the top. My son is now 20 and we are still paying the last of accumulated thousands yes thousands of dollars in fines. I was looking to them for help yet they were not wanting to have any fingers pointed towards them. I met with every meeting using vacation and sick time to do anything to get my son to graduate. Bullying was never addressed. Even in court the principle said she was not prepared to discuss this. Nothing was ever looked into. I ended up moving out of state to make it stop. They had placed him in an alternative school with criminal teenagers getting about a 5th grade education. I brought this up and they stated unfortunately this is the avg level of education and my son was well beyond 5th grade edu in 11th grade. Thr entire point of going to school was the education, this was a contradictory decision from teachers whom I was trying to work with. I quickly found to be in my opinion and experience the enemy. My sons father passed away a few years before and many times letters were addressed to my spouse and myself. I thought that to be very disrespectful. I recommend cyber school. Many parents were so very pleased with their education. I have no idea why noone has looked into the poor performance rating on an nationwide performance rating scale. The cards that were not turned in were for the death of my father. He passed away a week before Thanksgiving just before the small vacation. They considered them unexcused. That was not only disrespectful to my son as well as my entire family. With all the school tax they receive it is obviously not enough and the school should be expected to perform at a level where it is one of the best schools to attend. Not the bottom.
