I have taken the construction electrician course, and I can say that the Training Center is a well educated and well equipped institution of knowledge. A great foundation on which to keep working and building upon, a collection of kind hearted people that are always willing to help both inside the classroom walls, and out in the wider world. To me they are like a family away from home, who I can always count on and come back to in all the different stages of my life.

Let me be clear, we have never been students at this training center.We received a tour of the electrical program training area.Our tour guide was personable and seemed fairly knowledge about the program.The reason for only three stars is that the instructor was late for the tour and the whole time was spent in what felt more like a sales pitch than anything.I know he was just trying to build value but he kept repeating himself which made it feel more like he was trying to convince me of something.Then I asked a question.... and couldnt get a straight answer. He just started in on another 10 minute sales loop.Also, we inquired about the cost of tuition on three different occasions on three different days and never got an answer. Theyll only let admissions talk to you about that.Well, Im sorry but I dont want to wait around for the admissions lady...We are grown adults! TELL ME THE BOTTOM LINE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!ILL FIGURE IT OUT FROM THERE!Why is it a secret?!

I am a graduate of the 2020 Construction Electrician course and 2019 Solar Technician course. I am thoroughly impressed by the level of training, I received during both blocks of training. My training included electrical theory, electrical code, and blue print reading.My favorite part was the daily hands on training to include wiring switches, receptacles, panels and conduit bending. They even gave me starter electrical tool kits, which I used to upgrade electrical fixtures in my homestead. I cant say enough great things about the staff and training, I received at The Training Center of Central Texas. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to move into a new rewarding career! -Bob

We are not students here.We did take a tour here and it was 15 minutes of sales pitches and bragging about jobs waiting for students to graduate. Then today we went in to an advising appointment to find out that they DO NOT work with VA students or the GI Bill. Also there website shows pricing around $4000 when the actual price is $17,500. Lastly when we started the appointment we were immediately put into a loan application without being told that is what it was.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. It comes off very scam like.

A place of knowledge and training. Training Center Trade Technical College is my current home college and my experience here has been phenomenal. Great class times , small size class, flexible schedules, veteran friendly, great management, discipline and the hands-on labs make this school your best choice.. The instructors are highly qualified for their jobs. They are all master electricians for years and years of experience in the field. A must visit college whether youre looking to start over, get certified can get you there. Thanks Training Center, you changed my life✌

I went through the Solar program you could definitely learn a lot about the trade , however you will not be Nabcep certified and your training hours will not count to help you sit for your Nabcep exams, you will have to figure that on your own

I am a recent graduate of Training center of Central Texas in electrician and solar energy program. I would like to let prospective students know that this school outranks any other school of its caliber. There are many great things about this school that i will share with you. First off, if you are just doing the Electricians Program, you will attain and retain more knowledge in six months than any other program out there. The Instructors are full of knowledge in their field and will guide you to make yourself successful. It is a high paced learning environment. You will have to put forth the work in order to achieve success. The instructors are of the highest caliber, and will challenge you to be the best that you can be. The small class size ensures that you can approach the instructors with questions. This is one of the best qualities of the school. If you are having difficulty with the material that is presented, there is free tutoring available for almost every class. This is one on one tutoring that is held by work study students that have already passed the class, and will help you achieve your best. The support staff is willing and able to help you with your path through this time is school. Best of all, once you graduate they have a placement staff that truly helps you find employment in your field. I welcome anyone who is willing to better themselves to take a look at this school and see if it fits their needs..

They say every successful person is a good teacher (or five). What can I say? I had many! Two of them are here! Ms. Mayleen and Ms. Dallas.I moved to Texas not knowing what this place has for me to offer. This is where I started—right here, in this school. The Training Center of Central Texas.I started with their Pharmacy Technician Program. Great program, great teacher! Finished the program, but I wanted more.So, I signed up for the CCMA Program, and I got what I asked for. I wouldn’t say it was easy. This program is supposed to be a year worth of schooling, but who would want to be in school for a year if you can do it for 6 months?!?This is how CCMA program was designed—for students like me who needed an immediate career to start off with a great and strong foundation.Ms. Mayleen and Ms. Dallas goes out of their way to make sure their students not only make it to the end and graduates 🎓, but also make sure their students will continue to aim high and lands on a job where they all can start a new beginning, a new career, and a whole new life.I give every credit to these professors—Ms. Mayleen and Ms. Dallas for helping me every step of the way. These teachers are always one text/call/email away whenever/whatever you may need to succeed in this program. Now, that doesn’t mean you can just sit and wait for good things to come your way. You, as a student has to work hard as well, and stay motivated!Every staff here is very helpful and friendly. Our school director, Mr. Sunshine always have an open door for any questions you may have.Ms. Bianca will brighten up your day and make you see your future in a different perspective. She once told me, I can do it. So now… I’ll tell you if I was able to do it, so can you!

I graduated with honors from the Medical Assistant program and the experience has been so awesome from the first time.This is an excellent school with quality professors and very friendly. I love each and everyone of the staff members, special my professors, Ms. Mayleen and Ms. Dallas. Thank you for your help in my internship, it was very successful. I stayed working there. I was a student for the electrician program and I am glad of the results that I received. This school is military friendly and make you feel like family. I had the honor of having Patrick as my instructor and to this day I still call him for help if I need it. All the hands on training that the school provides is extremely valuable. Module 101 is confusing if you dont understand the electrical theory but thanks to the instructors I understand it a lot better to include using the NEC book. Thank you guys for all the knowledge. I still use it even though Im still active duty.

The instructors and environment make it easy to relax and not be nervous to answer or ask question. Instructors actually take the time to answer questions and/or clear up any confusions you may have. Great hands on training to prepare you for real life situations. You will get opportunities to go and get hands on training at real houses or buildings outside of the school during school hours.

They are not certified by the va you can not use can not use tuition assistance or gi bill. They were certified lost it on the 14 on January we just now finding out as of yesterday April 13th

On the 25th of February, 2021, I was attended by several people at the Training Center in Harker Heights, Texas. I was given much help by Bianca Kanaanian, the VA Representative/Counselor in the attempt to use my GI Bill to pay for my classes. She was extremely helpful in getting through to the right education office at the VA.GOV site, which I alone could not do. I would recommend to anyone this outrageously wonderful school and Mrs. Kanaanian, I appreciate her endeavors.

I went into the school assuming I was going to just sign up and leave. As soon as I walked in the door Bianca in Admissions helped me apply for more benefits I did not even know about and was very kind.

This school is amazing! This place is truly a diamond in the rough. They accepted me into one of their Solar program that an had open spot 2 days before it started. They were very open and honest about all costs up front. I already had OSHA 10 and CPR certificate so they gave me a small discount for that. The staff here are all so very helpful accommodating and really want you to succeed. The teacher I got, Mr. Edwards was fantastic!!! He was the perfect balance of fun and strict. Personally I am dyslexic and I had the second highest grade in the class with his help. I felt 100% prepared for my Final test because of him. The cherry on top of this school the way they cultivated the class atmosphere. It was bonded and United I definitely know I will keep in contact with my classmates!.

I really enjoy this school. I’ve taken the Solar Technician class and I’ve really learned a lot about the renewable energy industry and I’m currently taking the construction electrician class. The knowledge I’ve learned is helping me become someone with in demand skills. 10/10

VETERAN FRIENDLY!Coming out of the army as a medic I felt lost. I had skills but no credentials. This school is so great for helping someone learn a trade to get in the medical field. Weather youre just starting or experienced looking for credentials in the civilian world this school is amazing.When I started my experience only got better! Because of the G.I. Bill, I didnt have to worry about my books, scrubs, or materials other than pen and pad! They are filled with veteran resources and you can tell they genuinely care. They dont just help veterans, they help EVERYONE. The administrators are excellent, they help student by providing excellent teachers. Always so understanding and they helped me to stay motivated no matter what. I love this school and will recommend this school to everybody. It was nice to know the ONLY thing I had to be worry about was my education, not money, payments, materials, books, uniforms etc. This school is great for a multitude of reasons I highly recommend that everyone come in and see it for themselves. If you are interested in this career field do not hesitate in applying here. You wont be sorry!

Worst school ever, poor communication, lack of care for students, didn’t even inform VA students they lost their accessibility just sad and looking for money

I had the opportunity of touring with The Training Center. The atmosphere of the school is very pleasant and professional. When hearing the employees talk about the program, I got the feeling that they were not just instructors, they were passionate about what they do. They are well knowledge in the curriculum that they teach and they have the ability to present it in a manner that anyone who is a novice will feel well educated in and comfortable performing the job to the highest standard without any assistance. The Covid-19 Pandemic did not discourage this group of instructors; instead, they took the opportunity to enhance their learning center and prepare for the students that will need them upon the lifting of the quarantine. If you are looking for a group of experts to teach you the skills you need to succeed in a professional environment, The Learning Center is definitely the place for you.

This is the best medical assistant school. HANDS DOWN!! At first I was a little skeptical because with my choices but I thank God that I made the best decision. Going to The training center I had zero skills I thought I was in the wrong field and now completing all my classes I feel like I can achieve anything I want. Also, I’d like to thank all the instructors there, they’re really there to help you out and want to really see you succeed. The lecturers are so perfect and they make you understand everything in the simplest form , not only the lecturers but (Ms.Mayleen) stayed with me until I got the job , she gave me the answers to ALL the interview questions and SURPRISINGLY guys Im now employed with an OB gyn on the Clear Creek Rd. I promise guys, you wont regret your choice. Ms. Mayleen WAS MY FAVORITE INSTRUCTOR!!!! I Couldn’t have made a better school decision.

As a Veteran transitioning to civilian life choosing a field and school was not easy. Upon researching schools for Electrical and getting recommendations by electrician companies in the area and previous graduates I chose Training center due to their accreditation from VA and great recommendations. For those who are fellow Veterans I recommend this school due to the following. Intercoast was very informative and is a certified school by VA. When I first started in January Pre-COViD and attending school everything was at a nice pace, we did lecture one day and practiced the next day what we went over for our lecture. The school supplied us with everything we needed to my surprise not cheap tools or limits when using product such as wires or devices to make connections. Even though I received a check from VA for books and supplies but the Training Center did not charge me any extra than what VA provided to the school. The simulations they have are small scale meant to build confidence when you do enter the field. When we transferred over to online the school did not disappoint with the lessons and labs. I personally love being hands on but they made do with what was given to them. The instructor I had was seasoned Masters of their field not inexperienced instructors you might see somewhere else. My instructor for the main Electrical course Pat who I want to say have 60+years of experience to the basics of Electricity and construction. He really went above and beyond in trying to prepare us and giving us the proper critiques and corrections in order to learn not in demeaning ways but as mentors. Codey who was my student success partner has been instrumental in my success from transferring to hybrid online and getting everything I needed and checking in to make sure we weren’t having issues with the course material to stay successful afterwards. Mr. Sunshine who is the school director has been a great help, he has gone above and beyond making sure that I received certifications that I have completed, for this reading this you will get your CPR training during this course on top of other certification that will make you a competitive applicant. Over all I look forward for my next chapter of new career as an electrician, but left with a bittersweet taste due to leaving such a great people and support.

I could not have asked more from this school. Not only they show complete devotion in teaching activities but they also make sure you leave the center knowing youre part of a bigger family. BLS course was very clear, concise, with detailed information and real examples. I would highly recommend taking any courses at Training center. The staff and instructors were very personable, professional and helpful. I had the pleasure of speaking with the director of the school Mr. Sunshine, and he patiently answered all my questions with a smile :) Mr. Sunshine also provided detailed comments and suggestions to grow and improve not only academically but also professionally.

I took and completed the Medical Assistant program including 4 NHA National Certification Exams for each. I cannot find the words to express the impact on my life Ms. Mayleen and Ms. Dallas have had on my future in the medical field as well as Ms. Debi, Ms. Bianca and Mr.Sunshine (other superstar staff members). Ms. Mayleen was able to ease my nerves from the 1st day since its been almost 10 yrs since Ive been in any formal school platform. I am currently enrolled in the Construction Electrican course. The syllabus is extensive and thorough. The instructors are Master Electricians with decades of hands on experience. The education we are receiving here is preparing us for a lucrative and fulfilling career. Providing textbook education coupled with hands on training, I find this method of learning effective and engaging. I started my nursing journey at this school a few years ago and now I am back as a part time instructor. I couldn’t sleep last night and this afternoon I got the call - After being flown to Houston for an all expense paid interview, I was offered a job at Siemens beginning in January after my electrician training is complete. I am taking the Patient Care Technician class almost done. If your able to sign up for class don’t hesitate. The class is very detailed and classrooms are small which makes better to get the help needed from a very knowledgeable and fun teacher Mrs. Mayleen.

TERRIBLE customer service, TERRIBLE communication. I made an appointment, they acted like I never called. called SEVERAL times just so I could get a quote on how much the course would be, took me 3 calls just to get one answer out of the lady. just a horribly ran establishment. Would suggest anyone else not to waste money here.

I called last minute to get CPR certification because I needed it for school the next day, they were able to get me in the same day and it was a very smooth and efficient process. Thank you ❤️

I took the CMA class and BLS certification class back in 2016 with Mrs Mayleen and it was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had with any medical training. I just recently went back to update my BLS certification and a lot of the things she taught us in class is still fresh in my memory as she made sure to go into detail with anything and everything we had questions about. I certainly feel as if she is a huge factor in my success in the medical field because she went above and beyond in teaching us everything we need to know to succeed as a CMA and also pass the NHA. If you are considering becoming a CMA or just getting your foot in the door with any medical certification class they offer I would definitely look into this school for training as they have so much to offer and Mrs Mayleen is a great instructor who makes sure everyone understands the lesson of the day along with giving you tips you will use once working as a CMA.

I came to the Training Center in June and instantly signed up for the PCT (Patient Care Tech program) to earn my certification in Phlebotomy, EKG, and PCT in July. I earned my CNA in another state but it wasn’t transferable to Texas. At TC4HC it goes through the NHA that way you can work in any state which is a bonus for me! The course is only 3 months which is fairly short. The instructor Mayleen who has her BSN is very remarkable and knowledgeable in her skill! I love it just wish there were more students in the classes during summer, other than that it’s great and the staff are friendly. The owner and director also put together BBQ’s for the students and gave us the opportunity to coordinate and speak with Human Resource Specialists from nearby hospitals in the area. Awesome!

Best school to go if you want to become a dental assistant!!! Most accurate information and very clear to understand.I had a great experience and learned so much in very short time.Very organized lectures and practicals.Good videos,instruments,materials,pictures.The instructor is a DENTIST and she is very prepared!!!

Tc4hc has come under new management. Mr.Sunshine is very personable and helpful and genuinely cares about the students and the staff. I took the medical assisting course with Mrs.Mayleen Isla. Mrs. Isla is a wonderful instructor very knowldgeable and patient. She takes her job seriously but makes the learning environment very comfortable for all students. I highly recommend this school if you are serious about going from an employee at a job to a professional with a career .

I attended the school for Dental Assisting with Dr. Glenda as the instructor and I learned so much. She was a great teacher that taught great material that set me up for real world. I love TC4HC. I’m now enrolled in the CMA program with Mrs Mayleen as the instructor and she’s awesome. Very knowledgeable with the material she teaches. I’ve learned so much already and I’ve already started my externship which has put me ahead. The entire staff is amazing from Mrs Bianca, Dallas, Mr. Sunshine and Keisha.
