I have been learning various swing dances, Lindy Hop, Charleston, St Louis Shag, and Balboa, for years. The instructors are knowledgeable, energetic, and caring. The truly want to share the joy of dance and it shows. There is no need to have a partner or experience because there are many levels and the classes rotate partners so you get to meet and dance with many people. Unlike most dance schools there is a very fun social aspect where you can talk grab a drink or a bite to eat and just hang out and dance and talk.

This is the place in the city to learn swing dancing. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient (even when I have two-left-feet) making you feel comfortable. They teach several of the swing dances from the 20s - 40s. Believe they have live music once a month, maybe more some months.It is on the second floor, stairs are to the left when you walk in (they do have an elevator toward the back, but I have not used it yet).
