Trial period offer is a very good deal with them. All the transactions are smooth and transparent. Dont forget to check the instrument rental charges after trial period. Instruments are well maintained.I was happy with all the time with them.

Mike was very helpful and even strummed a few tunes on the different brands to help me decide which one I liked best. Ultimately I went with the Yamaha. I broke the stem of a tuning peg off my old Alvarez 12-string and those tuning pegs, particularly of an older vintage, are not easy to find. The repair was complicated by the fact that as the peg broke, the mounting screws also were ripped half-way out of the neck of the guitar.The folks at Menchey sent the guitar to their repair guy who found the peg, installed it after the old one had been removed. He also installed all new strings and worked on the action of the guitar, using the adjustment available uniquely for that. It is working very well.The repairman took the time to call me at home to recommend that he do extra tuning of the sound and action of the guitar; it is now even more of a joy to play. My kids who sing with me at my parish sunday school love the bright sound of this awesome guitar.Throughout the staff was courteous, creative and showed real concern for the problem I had with my guitar. It was a real pleasure working with them.I immediately recommended Menchey Music to other guitarists with whom I sing at another parish. I give them five stars.

So impressed with Covid precautions. Offered hand sanitizer upon entry and the gentleman helping me out sanitized before touching items. I was there July 9th in the afternoon and the gentleman that helped with my return was wonderful. I was afraid they would try to find things wrong with my return to make money but they did not. Honest and easy to communicate with, would recommend!

The shop was clean and organized. However, it seemed like the workers that were there were too busy playing on their phones than to help me. It took awhile for someone to help me. It was hard finding the accessories I needed since nothing was really labeled. This is more of a beginner shop. If you are a professional musician definitely find a different shop! When I did find everything it was a very limited stock, which wasn’t surprising due to the size of the store. Probably won’t go back.

I really like this place, when I went to get a bigger size viola on short notice, the employee attending to me was very flexible and friendly. They helped me choose the right fit and gave me some tips on how to take better care of my instrument! Thank you!

The staff was both courteous and attentive to my needs when I entered the store. It was obvious that there was some training of employees in some areas but they remained professional and engaging during the process. The estimate and repair of the instrument was done in a timely fashion. The instrument was returned in great working condition.

We have lived in the area for about 14 yrs now and often go to this store as all my kids are into music. The staff is very friendly and helpful! I have no complains about this place, my daughter plays the violin and it needed some new parts and they gave me what I needed, i even though she was going to charge me extra for the installation but she didn’t. Great please to go if you need a new instrument, music books or fix your old one.

The staff there is very nice and very helpful. My order came in pretty quickly and you have a good selection of not only music, but other items as well. I wish there was a Menchey Music on the West Shore though.

Bought a Martin OMCPA4 rosewood which I love. Thought the action was a tad high and they mad it right within a couple days! Friendly sales folks and were very patient as a tried a few guitars. Wish they had a larger selection of Martins that is all.

Guy who I delt with wasnt very nice and definatly lacked customer service skills...The store is small. I had exact model number of violin and knew what I wanted.. They quoted $369.00 more for new.. Then what I got quoted at another store.. I asked if they have any used ones, he said there in the back and acted like it would been a hassle for him to show me.. ummm how you gonna sell them ??
