I rarely if ever write reviews for schools because I work in this industry as an advisor, and I’ve done business with the owner of Hastings Beauty School. However, this school has something special to offer those students who feel most comfortable in an intimate class environment with only 12 students for every instructor. It’s certainly not for everyone, but if you thrive on more individual attention, this school may be a good choice for you.

I made a appointment 3 weeks ago for Sept 13th, spiral perm . I arrived early, was greeted by Haylla ( hopefully spelled her name right)my stylist. She was friendly, Pleasant, and Professional. My hair came out great lots curls great volumn. I will see her again for color and trims. Very nice low-key atmosphere with beautiful architecture in the building.

I attended Hastings Beauty School for my cosmetology education and I cant say this enough, I love this place. They have great instructors who guided me every step of the way. I came into this thinking I would never want to cut hair after school, only stick to coloring which is what I liked best and why I joined the program. I came out loving to cut hair and feeling confident as ever about all aspects of cos. Thank you so much to Hastings Beauty School. I love my career and I love that this is where I came from! HBS FO LIFE!!!!

I’ve gone here twice and the first time they did amazing but then the second time i asked them to cut an inch off but they ended up cutting four inches off. I’m very unhappy with it.

I love this place so much, staff, students and Instructor were very sweet, careful and energetic! Left with soft silky hair, totally worth the visit!!
