My son is now in the first grade at St. Joseph. We first came to visit at an Open House. Other students were giving us a tour of the campus. I was impressed by how literate, polite, and well-spoken they were. I thought this is exactly how I would like for my son to grow up to be. That same day, I felt a sense of family and a strong sense of community. I have developed closed friendships with other parents since then. My sons best friend is his classmate; it looks like they will be friends for many years to come, thanks to Joseph. Do the right thing, enroll your children at St. Joseph!

My older kids have attended the school back in the early 2000 and back at it again for my youngest child. So happy to keep my child in a private school where learning our faith is just as important. Glad that the education provided is helpful in challenging their abilities.

Would like to start off by saying that Mr. Donohue is amazing and he is the reason that we are very happy to be part of the Saint Joseph Family. Would definitely recommend for any new families to consider taking a tour of our amazing school!

I grew up studying in a Catholic school and as a parent, I wanted the same quality education that I had been given to pass down to my children.I am very happy that I have the opportunity to enroll my child at Saint Joseph School as it has given my son the same quality of education that I had and also taught him to be a good Catholic.Mr. Donohue, our principal, is very professional and friendly at the same time. With my experience, he never leaves any of my emails unanswered. He helps a lot in informations that I need and if we needed guidance/assistance.I can say that they have very competent teachers who are also understanding and very flexible on my childs needs, pandemic or not!School staffs are highly trained, resourceful and helpful. I never had a bad experience with them. Very knowledgeable, friendly and polite in phone or in person. From the principal, teachers, staffs and Fr. Greg as well as the Church staffs, they are highly trained professionals with a HEART!

I highly recommend St. Joseph School. I believe their teaching level is higher than any public school or even other private schools. The teachers are very skilled and prepared and keep the children highly motivated.

This school was alright. Except that Mr ubrkight or whatever her name is, DOES not know how to have patience with kids or how to treat kids, she was so disrespectful. Glad this year is her last year. I only ever had 2 good teachers here. Ms haro and Mr brown, forever will thank them :), but anyways that whole year i spent in this school was horrible, i hated it so much and even other kids i know from this school agree with me. I definitely didnt wanna let my brother bring his children here.

My granddaughter has attended St. Joseph School since Pre-K. She is now in 6th grade. Her growth over this period has been amazing to watch. The teachers are effective and demonstrate a caring attitude toward students. The communication with parents has been top notch especially during the pandemic. I receive emails daily from each of my granddaughters teachers and through gradelink, I am able to monitor her progress. The database is kept up to date.I like that she has built a strong Catholic foundation in addition to having a good command of the core content areas. The distance learning has been extremely rigorous and the expectations are high. The school also provides supplemental services for students in need of counseling and has partnered with a third party for the Arts. I strongly recommend this school to parents seeking an inclusive environment with a strong academic program that takes into consideration the social and emotional needs of a child as well as the contributions each child makes to the community as a responsible citizen.

I used to go here from pre-school to 6th grade. I’m not just writing this because I’m mad at the school, this is my genuine opinion about the school. I personally feel like the teachers are not very passionate about teaching, it just feels like they want to get their job done and get out. I feel that the school was at its prime from 2010-2014. In this time period all the grades felt like a family, there was so much harmony between all the students. After this period it felt like everything went downhill and students were having to deal with a lot of disrespect from other students. But I don’t know that’s just me.

My experience with this school has been a great one and I have had my children here for 4 years. Things only get better as time went on...the principal has changed in the last two years and I can only speak highly of him as he has really taken the time to address concerns as they arise. He is very approachable, understanding and full of integrity. Action is always implemented and it shows in everything from the website to increasing the resources to each family and all the students. I was actually surprised to see other reviews but you really cant trust a review based off first impressions or perceptions. I have been a satisfied parent for the current past 4 full years and this year I will have five, yes 5 kids here! As a UCLA alumni myself, education is primary/priority! I would not settle for anything less than the upmost highest level of education for my children and I vouch for Saint Joseph School. Teachers and Principal are top notch. Thank you SJS!

My 3 years old baby can not be accepted in this school because he cant write his name? Its just excuse to discourage him, very sad!also no professional at all after he tested I had to keep calling them to find out what was the result, after a week I went to the office the cashier have to tell me they dont have a place for him there is no need to sit and talk about it , most decent schools will call you to the office and let you know what is the child weakness and strength and will go from there, this one did not even have a certain reason why they cant take him.

My younger brother took test and then they didnt tell us if he passed or fail for more than a week. They said they will call but never did. when we went there to ask the cashier was so rude and racist. I went to catholic school for 13 years but i never seen this kind of rude, rascit and disrespecting school.
