My daughter loves it here ! They do a great job with the littles

Was in Jersey visiting a good friend of mine and happened to catch a bit of the class. His daughter goes to this place. You can tell she was eager to learn from an extremely patient and enthusiastic teacher. Excellent positive reinforcement. If I had kids, Id definitely bring them here to learn and exercise, all while having fun too! 😊

I love this dance school. Both of my girls have gone here since they were 2 years old. For the record, I have never seen a kid kicked out of class and in my experience they are excellent with little ones. The owner has 2 small children herself and is extremely patient and kind. We have been attending here for almost 8 years. highly recommend.One of the 1 star reviews is from a person who has never even been to the school...

My 3 year old dances here. She really loves it and looks forward to going to her dance class each week. I enjoy taking her when I can take a day off of work and love to see how much fun she has. She has learned so much and can even name and demonstrate specific ballet moves...which I cant even try to say. Its great to see her learning a talent and making new friends. Great teachers & great owner

I am appalled at how they treated a young girl at this dance school. They took her out in 5 minutes for not being obedient enough... mind you the girl was only 2 years old. Why do they have 2 year old classes if they cant handle a two year old dancing? Obviously they lack patience and the teaching skills for young children. Will definitely let my friends and family know to take their children elsewhere.

The staff at this school are great with kids at any age! They are so patient, welcoming, and fun! I would highly recommend it!

My kid is 2 first class... and they asked her to leave because she wouldnt sit still meanwhile the other kids were already in routine. They should change the age groups if they cant handle a new two year old. Ridiculous and embarrassing dont waste time or money, doesnt even have a decent place for the parents to sit

I cant say enough great things about this Dance School! I have been sending my daughter here for the past 8 years, since she was only 2 years old, and have had such a great experience.They offer every style of dance from Creative movement for the little ones, to Ballet, to hip hop, to Jazz and tap, to Irish step dancing, to lyrical, and even adult dance classes and Zumba, so there is definitely something for everyone.My daughter has had the opportunity to take classes with many of the different dance teachers over the years, and she has loved all of them! My daughter looks up to them as more than just dance teachers, but role models.The overall environment of this particular dance school is that it is a fun place to be. There is no competitiveness between the girls, like you would see in other dance schools. They are there to dance and have FUN together. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly -- the kids, the parents, the teachers. I think this is probably the main thing, for me personally, that sets this school apart from other dance schools. It really feels like we are one big family.There is also a dance team that many of the girls are part of. (I believe the ages of the girls on the team range from 3rd graders up through high school aged)... and it is not a team that competes, but rather a Team that performs for others and does good for communities. This group of dancers has performed at many events and venues. They have danced at Nursing homes, Childrens Hospitals, The Library in Hawthorne, several festivals and fairs in the surrounding towns, such as North Haledon Day, Saint Annes Fair in Fairlawn, Hawthorne Day, etc. The Irish dance team has danced in the St. Paddys day parade in Bergenfield, among other events. It is really something special to be part of. This past July, they did a Flash Mob dance to raise money for a cancer foundation.It really doesnt get better than HSOD! I can go on and on...another thing, I forgot to add... Its nice, the studio has TVs set up in the waiting room so you dont miss anything. You can sit and watch your childs class and chit chat with the other parents.

Good thing Im not bringing my autistic child here because I saw how they threw a two year old out for dancing.. in a dance school
