Demetrius was amazing and Daniel was super informative. The experience was incredible there arent sufficient words to describe the breathtaking views and emotions. They are super friendly very engaging and patient also funny. So if you want to have a good time and scratch this off your bucket list once and for all I completely recommend you buy tickets and invite the family or that special someone, trust me you will not regret it and thank yourself for it!

Did a sunset 30 minute downtown tour for girlfriends birthday, it was amazing. Had pilots Brian and Logan for our flight, very enjoyable and entertaining flying with them. Seeing stuff from this perspective is amazing. Great views of coliseum, dodgers stadium, Hollywood sign, Griffith observatory, universal studios. Star was very professional all the way from making initial reservation to landing back at Hawthorne airport, I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for this memorable experience.

On my one and only trip to LA ( so far ) I did the 90 min LAX spotting trip , had the best spotting trip ever, back and forth across the runways and terminals many times , The pilot monitoring air traffic control, knew what was coming in and on which runways, so we were always in the right position... would i do this again....YES,,,, do i recommend you do it ....YES....very safe and professional organization...

We did the VIP tour in January and as I work as an aerial photographer back home in UK, I requested doors off. Star helicopters granted this request and we had the flight to ourselves (wife and I) As a result, I got some fantastic shots. Pilots were great with lots of commentary and jokes. Ive hired helicopters all over the world on holidays and these guys are the best by far. Had a one hour flight around LA for $600 - thats fantastic value! Im definitely flying with them next time I visit LA. Thanks for great memories guys!

Did the LAX Helispotting tour, it’s worth every f***ing dollar!Go in the early afternoon, lots of heavies at the Tom Bradley terminal and more arriving and departing! The pilot was stellar, knows a lot about aviation and the whole conversation was totally engaging...Hanging around the In’n’out is fun, but seeing the operations from the other side is something else!Be sure to let the pilot know you want to hover a bit above the SpaceX parking lot a bit on take-off or return, as there is an actual Falcon 9 rocker that has been in space. The first one. Mind. Blown.

The best experience ever!!

I have been personally coming here for over 7 years. I normally come 2-3x’s per year as I’m always having guest from out of town, and the first thing I surprise them with is a helicopter ride. Each and every one of my friends and family members just absolutely love it. I’ve know Keith the owner for now 7 years and he’s the best. Thx pilots are VERY experienced, kind, polite, and super curtius as they explain the flight and all the site seeing. I think the prices are great, and I encourage anyone looking for a great adventure to come fly here. It’s worth the experience. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Bought vip 1 hour package. Scenic yet ended almost 10 minutes early and I only had 1 request which would have made us all, especially my son happy if the pilot would have simply taken a 1 minute loop so my son could see the shore line from his side of the helicopter. He missed all the coast and we werent told only one side could see. Pilot said he didnt have enough time for a 1 minute loop yet still ended early. Spent over 1000 and couldnt even spend 1 minute to make us feel like a vip instead shorted us all. Nothing vip at all, more like rush rush thank you. Nice pilot but we spent lots of money for vip and he couldnt even turn around 1x.

Set up a lesson for my husbands birthday and he had a great experience; couldnt have asked for me. Instructor was knowledgeable and patient and enjoyable to fly with. Highly recommended.

Nice people but what they don’t tell you is that when taking the short ‘tour’ you spend no less than 40% (!) of the 15 minutes on the tarmac to warm up and cool down the engines.So the 15 minute tour is actually only 9 minutes in the air. They don’t tell you this beforehand but afterwards they are keen to refer to the contract small print.... $180 for 2 people for 9 minutes flying... nice business model but quite a rip off for customers if you ask me... judge yourself

We took our daughter for her 15th birthday we did the Hollywood and more tour and the experience was AMAZING. Our pilot was very nice even did a little extra just for the birthday girl. Definitely recommend worth every penny!

Amazing Experience!! I have been flying with Star Helicopters for several years and its always a pleasure going back. Their instructors are top notch and their tours will show you a whole new view of Los Angeles you have never seen before. Both locals and people from out of town will love this experience, why spend two whole days touring your out of town guests in a car when you can view it from the air in an hour or so. Make it an exciting adventure or a romantic getaway.

Pleasantly surprised with Star Helicopters. Booked from a downtown Los Angeles hotel to the airport. Got a text as we were in the elevator heading downstairs 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. Pailot was sharply attired and we got upgraded to an Escalade. (Fine with me - I prefer SUVs anyway.) pailot was a little chatty but no big deal. Ill use them again.

Took my wife for her birthday and she had a great time. The flight was fun and the pilots were very friendly and we got to see a lot of LA in a short amount of time. I would definitely do it again.

Tried surprising my girlfriend for her birthday got there and the tour was canceled. Rescheduled and the day before the tour canceled again. Was looking forward to a new experience but asked for a refund got tired of rescheduling.

Bad Experience and Impression. I signed up for my first lesson. They did poorly to inform me about cancellation fees and I ended up losing $150 because of their fault. Luckily, I didnt sign up for a full hour because I would have lost $300.
