Mr G, as the kids call him is amazing with the kids. The martial arts taught is practical, there is a focus on respect and discipline. There is a strong sense of community. I cant recommend this place enough.

My son is always excited to go to class. Everyone there is pleasant and the other kids families are nice as well. Very welcoming and family oriented.

Mr. G. is a spectacular instructor who tends to break down things in order for people to understand and synthesize very well without giving up on themselves. He remembers the time when we did forms and then all of a sudden, my foot movement was out of place and then went back to do it again. The hardest test was my first degree black belt which was tiring and exhausting. I am anticipated to team up with him since he is also a police officer at the Hawthorne Police Department along with his fellow associate Mr. Nielhouse. We go way back and time flies when you are having fun. I am looking forward to being a instructor there one of these days and I want to help someone make a difference.
