This daycare is amazing. The staff and teachers really care about the children. The daycare is always clean and well lit. They have wonderful security measures in place to ensure everyone on the property is safe. No one can just walk in off the street and a code is needed to go beyond the front desk. Cleanliness, security, and the way my child will be treated is very very important to me. I pick my son up at different times and everytime I have dropped him off or picked him up no one has EVER been on their phone. The children get their full attention at all times. The teachers and staff have really helped my son and I correct his behavior. They are always willing to keep an open line of communication with me. They really do want the children to succeed. My sons behavior and his overall getting ready for kindergarten has improved tremendously since the beginning of our short time with Light House Academy. I know my son loves it there, when I pick him up he tells me that he is not ready to go home yet. He even ask me when we are at home when he gets to go back. I really wish I would have enrolled my son earlier. If they could make such a huge change with my son in as little as 2 months I cant even imagine what they would have done with him in year. I can not thank the Light House Academy enough for what they have done for my son. It truly takes a village to raise a child and I am so thankful that they are apart of my villiage even if it will only be for 4 months. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for childcare. My SIL doesnt have children yet but even she has heard wonderful things about them. Another thing, they only go up to 5 years old which is a bittersweet plus. Because my son will have to leave in August to go to kindergarten but also because you dont have to worry about your child being in the room with children who, in my opinion to old to be with younger children yet. Aslo they have a binder for each child and they take pictures so you can see your child grow while attending that daycare. Just imagine how precious that binder would be if you started them off there as a baby.
