I like this school tbh because you get to do a whole bunch of stuff like sports or clubs. and there is no problems at that school , when i graduate and or if i have kids one day, i will send them to this school
I graduated from Hickory in 2012, and I had full-blown schizoaffective disorder by tenth grade. I also had Aspergers, a form of autism. The school was amazing in accommodating me and setting up a learning environment that worked for me. The school psychologist even took the time to talk to my psychiatrist directly to help relay the symptoms that he was noticing in me at school. All of the teachers that I had were understanding of my condition and were happy to help me at the times that I struggled due to my unpredictable episodes. And then they helped me transition back into a regular school environment my senior year when I finally had been properly diagnosed and medicated. I would recommend Hickory High School for any student with special needs.
Teachers are amazing, good learning environment, clean and bully free
