So today my daughter graduated from Encore. I have to thank this school for teaching my daughter. For guiding her through some very important years of her life. She went here for 6 years and loved every moment of it! She is going to miss this school and so am I! Thank you for being family to Hailey and to us. This school is amazing. Students and teachers are very nice. No fights ever occur at this school, many fun programs and carnivals to attend. You can audition to play in musicals and interactive stuff. You do fun classes that you choose for yourself such as dance, drama, choir, instruments, acting, etc. One improvement that I would make on this school is the cafeteria food. Anyway, Im staying here into high school. :)

I made a review before this one and I still stand by it. You may like it now because your children aren’t complaining but please look at the schools academics and how many of these student are going to college after, graduating is a cake walk because they passing your kids to meet their graduation rate. Your children are being taught bare minimum. When they aren’t going to college after they are done here, stuck in low paying jobs your going to see you could have done better. Good luck

I still go here and enjoy it sometimes they (school owners) dont listen to things.The teachers I have are really fun and help a lot. This school helps me with every thing I want to do later in life. It is fun you do see things you. You normally dont see at a normal high school. And you do get opportunity you dont get in a normal high school and it is fun (for me).

Encore High School is pretty fun! You can do many things there, its all about the performing arts. They still have the needed classes that an average school has, but you have to keep up with your grades or else the school with kick you out. It is a very nice school, they are way better now and organized. Everything is New! And the teachers are ALWAYS there if you need them.

You sort of have to sort past the reviews left by current students to find out the truth about the school. I attended this school for the first five years they were open and it was an extremely bumpy ride. There has always been a relatively high turnover rate for teachers. Some of this is due to quick hush-ups over things teachers have said or done and some of this is rooted in issues of teachers speaking out against administration.The school prides itself in diversity, creativity and opportunity. About 75% of the time Id say they achieve this with flying colors. Mis-steps occur often and luckily the school usually learns from its failures.The dance, drama, and music department are of excellent quality and some of the crowning achievements of the school. They regularly have performances and recitals to showcase the talent the school is blossoming. (One student has even gone on to compete in a national television competition and earned a record deal.)During my time at the school, I placed my focus on the visual arts. Unfortunately, this is where I see the administration stumble with communication and urging their departments to be the best they can. The VA department is regularly put to the test the week of productions with last minute set design, student overtime, teacher overtime, and a nearly abusive line of direction from those in the drama and dance departments. There, in my opinion of my time there, was little respect given to those art teachers, many of whom have been let go or have sought leave on their own terms. There are a LOT of dark stories I could tell you, and a lot of dark secrets that only get spoken about amongst friends regarding the treatment of the art teachers.That said, Encore has some crowning achievements and their Costume Design department immediately springs to mind. I myself never took these classes but numerous friends and my own siblings did, giving me some insight into the hard work the students enrolled do. All of the costumes for the school are produced by these classes and look phenomenal. The teacher who runs it is easily the Queen of the school when it comes to hard work and patience with the various departments dropping last minute work off to her and her students.All in all, I enjoyed my time there. It allowed me to more quickly become who I was, explore who I was with less fear of judgment than a regular public high school would allow, gave me exposure to things I never would have been able to do elsewhere (this school has its own student run radio station!), and had many teachers I knew I could rely on to see me to graduation. Despite its failings, I would most certainly recommend the school. I have faith in it. I attended in some of the hardest years it could have and the school persevered.

This is my first year at encore it truly is one of the best schools you could go to the staff and students here at encore are great at all my other school there were fights known stop and drama to but here at encore its better because they give you a amount of stuff you can do like for instance I dance and do film class and cirque I am going to be here till I graduated.

We love this school! My child has been going there for 2 years and absolutely loves it. They do dance, Cirque, theater, and more. So glad I chose this school!

I have friends who go to this school and they say it is amazing and that I will love it..... Cant wait to go here next year.... Seems like an amazing and fun High School to go to

The school is terrible because they just focus on the performing arts and some teachers just seem like theyre there just for the money and dont even care if the students learn or not and the tutoring at Encore sucks because theres always way too many students in one classroom and not enough teachers available to help the students and they encourage you to go to tutoring but whats the point if you barely get any help at all and your grades still go down . Also most 8th graders this year wont be graduating so maybe you should reconsider sending your child to a much better school that they will do better in and wont end up suffering academically.

Encore has a no bullying rule. thats bull crap. it was my daughters first year there and threw out the year she was getting bullied. they DID NOT CARE! then one day she goes to school and almost got jumped by 12 girls all who were bullying her. there where no adults around to stop what was happening. this is not the school they say they are.

Lie cheat steal. Thats what this horrible school does. Ashlin in the office called my daugther the N word. My child came home in tears I took it to the principle and was push aside. That day my child was pulled from this school and never went back. I cant tell you enough to stay way from this place. They need to hire better office staff! It was completely uncalled for the language should have never been use to a child!!! I believe Ashlin should be fired, not only for discrimating but for treats she made towards a child!!

Encore High School is an amazing school it helps kids with their talents or they can look into one I am in Drama the teachers are so nice and helpful I recommend this school.

In all honesty, its not a bad school! This is my 4th year at Encore and Ive learned to love it. Now they do promote no bullying thats not true at all, but most of the students are very accepting! In whatever conservatory you are in, they will teach you the skills you need and you will succeed if you actually take it in like youre supposed to do. For instance, in the dance conservatory, Ive learned so much about auditioning and everything like that. But Encore is more focused on conservatories i would say. The academics arent that bad though, if they were as bad as all these people said, i would be a lot dumber! And about the shooting 1. their was no shooting 2. they let us know as soon as they could 3. stuff like that doesnt just happen here 4. the police were notified as soon as possible. Enough said... The food is not that bad either I enjoy it very much! All in all, its a good school and I would recommend it!

Pretty good school. No clue what yall talking about. And the majority of you talking about the school shooting dont know jack. Trust me. So keep it to yourselfs. I think they do need to fix some stuff though ( Bus Fees and cafteria food ) And of course Teachers have their Favourites. As parents have their favourite kids.. Encore is trying its best to build into something amazing. But i do agree with some of the Funds going towards the Riverside Campus. But then again. Encore is trying to Expand. And everyone hating. I have been Bullied at EVERY single school Ive gone too. But when I came to encore i came out of my shell and blossomed into a social butterfly. It just takes time. Ive been here since 8th grade and plan on graduating from this school ( as well as my brother )This is probably the most close knit school ever. And to the kids who complain about it. Have fun at another school because if you dont like it you can leave.

Yes again please take your kids put of it as soon as possible they say we got you and everything but alot of kids left the school the second trimester and the first months including me please its like prison with a fine arts department!!!!

The students are really nice and some teachers but when my mom told me she was gonna pull me out because of the bus she was waiting in the G building for and hour then the A building and sat there for 2 hours so I had told the teacher if I can go ahorriblet me so I was waiting there with my mom and the lady comes and repeats her self tell in my mom what she already knows like you need to pay the rest of the bill from the bus and my mom said ik that and I will pay it I have low income and the lady said that it hasnt changed and that she had the choice to pay in portions and again my mom said I know and then it goes on and on and then shes all telling me that hook (the school Im going to) isnt gonna let me do thing because my mom hasnt paid but she just had Adittude encore is horribleSo the last time I posted this review it was last week and they still havent sent the papers idk what there doing but encore isnt a busy school well at least they dont seem like it

This school is amazing the academics help you learn faster i recommend this school to everyone there is no fighting or bullying everyone at this school is very nice

I graduated from Encore the summer of 2015 and I will always treasure my time there. I made some of my best friends there, shared my time & life with a lot of amazing peers and learned a ton of valuable life skills while getting to do things (i.e. cirque) that made people I meet jealous of my high school exp. Grew up a lot there; I basically lived there. I laughed, loved, cried over loss, and learned how to deal w/rejection, how to manage my time and how to interact with people. I came away with an experience that prepared me to succeed in the university I currently attend and to love every moment Ive got.

Encore is the BEST!!!Recently I contacted the performing arts department and spoke with Sandy D. Asking for help in having her students volunteer to participate in a San Bernardino country huge adoption event. The theme was A Royal Celebration I asked if she could send over students dressed in theme :. The morning of the event 16 students arrived at the Ontario Convention center on a school bus with a chaperone!Sandy sent a King, a Queen,A Prince and Princess, two Jesters and several assistants to help at the craft tables designed to entertain the children...Thank you to all of the Community Encore partipants!Mykal C., Tabitha H., Violet H., Trinity K., Kelti K., Jennifer L., Ashley P., Sara R., Andrea R., Camille Will., Nathan Z., Padme H., Hannah M., Erin C., Dean G., Ryan M., The school bus driver and chaperone Bernice S.You all made such happy memories and photo keepsakes for 80 children and their forever families! 1,200 attendees in all!!!Congratulations on a job well done!

Encore Education Corporations business practices are certainly suspect when they have little information publicly available and abandon an entire schools worth of children in the middle of the school year. EEC has decided its worthwhile to end its contract MID YEAR with SEP High School in Pittsburg, leaving hundreds of kids without schooling and little choice but to return to a dreadful and mis-managed public school system.You may be non-profit EEC but you certainly act like big business.

ALL KINDS OF NO!! A teacher of an elective class took a quiz on my daughters behalf because she was absent. Filled it out in red ink and gave her a D and then charted in her gradebook for her finals. We were told she did this out of concern for my child and then the offered for her to retake the test.Since my daughter enrolled here her freshman year she has asked to be go to her local high school or be homeschooled. She has been to a few different schools since Middle school until we bought a home in the area of the HD and I have never heard her be so unhappy. I Wish I would have listened sooner.

Ah yes, where do I begin? I get shoved a lot, dirty looks during Spanish class, 7th graders that clearly have a disability get harassed by juniors or sophomores, getting talked at by random students...You say you dont tolerate bullying at all but that is one issue you need to deal with first.And the fact youre handing out projects on the second week of school isnt even smart as well.

I cant believe this is our legitimate High School the staff is completely unaware of everything thats going on its like theyre winging it. I cant believe the school gives out legitimate High School diplomas. Plus theres so much extra curriculum activity. . Very negative extra curriculum activity may I add. Schools located in the middle of nowhere its very creepy. Stay away

I dont know if any of u herd bout this but this school almost got shot up. and no one did anything bout it for a while. this school focuses more on tatlent then naturl school work. they teachers r lazt and snotty i hated going to that school.if i were u i would never let ur kid go there.

Enroll elsewhere. The teachers and staff favor certain students and are sloppy and disorganized. Nothing seems fair for the students taking visual arts as performing arts students are favored, and the campus staff have no idea how to function

Wasnt a great school to go to, admin definitely doesnt care about academics, didnt feel like a safe environment.

Im a student at encore. 40+ children tried to attack me on campus and all the school did was sweep it under the rug and keep me out of school. Theyve done this to many students over the years. Theyre all about the profit and not the schooling. Dont. Go.

The food was not adequate and the service took at least 45 mins to get my god damn appetizers out. I hated it and I felt the urge to throw up when my gnarly food finally arrived. In conclusion waste of your money. -1000000/10 -IGN
