Best decision I made was bringing my son to this school. They have helped my son so much as he was behind coming from a private school. They truly cared and worked with him and myself to allow him to receive the best education and improve on whatever he was having a hard time. Teachers are amazing and staff are very helpful and understanding

Best school ever the staff are very nice and professional.The teachers go above and beyond for their students,Work well with parent and keep them inform of their kids daily progress.very friendly and diverse environment.Love it love it love I give it 100 stars if I could.My kids love this school also and wouldn’t change it for the world.Shout to my sons after care teacher Maria you’re the best.

MAE is an excellent school,their staffs, teachers, principal assistants are the best. A+ in academic education, SAFE school, But because nothing could be perfect, it has lack on parking.

Good afternoon,My name is Chantel Milgram and my sons go to mater academy elementary school. I have never seen in my life such horrible services that I have receive in mater academy elementary school. In my opinion how can Florida education try to educate students in schools when there refusing students at the door. My son was at school 1/28/2021, parents must line on the side of the express way awaiting for the school to allow parents to drop off there children. I arrived at the school at 8:00 am and had to wait in a line about 6 blocks away and park there until the school allowed parents to drop off there children. The school is supposed to open at 7:45 am every day but what happens is we must wait for bus to go through first and sometimes the buses have not even arrived yet. When I finally pulled up to the school it was 8:20 am and they refused my child due to being tardy and made me take my child home. And the most interesting part is that when I was sit in my car waiting to pull up, there was about 7 staff members outside just standing in a group talking and laughing, instead of working together to get the students in class in a fast, safe manner. How can Florida education think my son can try to have an education when first needs to be on computer at home for the first months of school and now try to learn something at school but then be refused in school, due to lack of administration control. When I call the school to speak to the principal she told me that’s are policy and they can have any type of policy they desire. And in my opinion that shows you don’t care about your students education because if mater academy was controlled correctly, then there would not be students at home lacking education. My son is 7 years old, how can you think my child can learn on a computer at home and then tell me he’s slacking in his education and when I try to take my child to the school for him to get a better education, Mater academy refuses my son due to the lack of traffic control. As soon as this year is over I will be removing my sons and put him in a broward county charter school. There is so much lack of administration in mater academy that there’s some teachers that don’t even speak English. Even in the other building for 3rd to 5th grade also is lacking administration. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! They say it is one of the best schools in America, but that is a lie from the pits of HELL!! Teachers are rude, security guards are rude, administration is rude, you see the principal once in a blue moon, the lunch ladies are rude, everybody is rude! If you completely hate your child, send them here. However, even if you have at least 1 ounce of love for your child, do not send them to this school. Too much homework, not enough time. I give them NO Stars. I went to Mater Academy and within half of school year, I ran away from it.

I highly recommend to every parent to STAY AWAY from this school. WORST school ever. Administration is RUDE, teacher are disrespectful, and are inexperienced. The teachers dont care about your child, they only care about their appearance. If you want to child to succeed stay away from this school.

Back when I was in elementary more than 10 years ago the school was the best thing ever. IDK about now. But I surely miss my teachers, Ms. Castro, Ms. Sara and Tara, Ms. Suarez, Ms. Argibay... And a few more I got to meet when I was there. We all cried when Mr. Altamiranda left and we met Mr. Odio, when Ms. Salazar left and we got the new art teacher ... And drama club was awesome and chorus too

Poor parking , very inconvenient for the city traffic, is not organized and is very difficult to get in and out , I wonder if the City know about zoning , they really need a better urban design, the parking system is a total caos in the morning and afternoon, making citizen life miserable .

This ill planned, badly placed school causes insane traffic backups in the area when classes give out for the day.

Never in my life have I seen or heard of a school where to pick up your child you have to spend an hour in a line of cars, just waiting for the 150 cars in front to start moving so that in that way you have to take another minimum hour to pick up your child and not there an enabled way to pick him up by walking as is traditionally done in any school, the excuse. same situation. I never saw the bad reviews that this school has for that part in question, sad that it is an excellent school and that they have such a bad handling of this issue which is to drop off and pick up these innocents who are our children, I have come to my work 2 days late since the beginning of the year and from what I see I think I will lose my job since today is the third day and the queue of cars does not advance since 1:45 when the children leave it is 2:30 and I am still three blocks from being able to pick up my daughter. I hope they solve this problem soon or I will not be able to keep my daughter in this very good school but so badly administered in the part under discussion. . Nothing the reputation achieved in years is tainted by a simple system of delivery and collection of children. I hope it will be resolved soon although I dont think so. 10/25/21

The school is beautiful, only Ms Noriega was horrible with my son, I made him write the rules of the school, and I shouted that he would repeat, I send him to the neurologist to a 7-year-old boy, he has no child psychology

Very good school They teach very well and Mrs. Ridley and Hernandezs teachers in kindergarten and 1st grade are wonderful. They love their work and enjoy teaching without saying they have a lot of patience with all the children. Unlike others they are wonderful
