I really feel that my son gets personal attention from qualified professionals. It doesnt feel like a factory but a family. They know my sons name and are very good role models.

Fenix Jiu Jitsu is not only a great place to learn a new skills but also a place to develop great friendships. Everybody in this facility from instructors, students and even the kids are always in a great mood willing to teach, learn, and help each other out. It’s such an amazing environment.Regardless of what your goals are when joining this gym your instructors won’t let you down. From losing weight to competing Jason will give you the tools to reach your goals as soon as possible.Coming into this facility my goal is to compete and I can assure you that I’m heading into the right direction. Also make sure that you try every class, Gi and No-Gi morning classes with Daniel are always great. The fundamentals classes are a great way to get into Jiu Jitsu, they target a lot of the basics. Also try the classes with Kyle, Sarah and Gaven, everything will help you improve your game. Don’t forget the Judo on Sunday! I just haven’t gotten the chance to try it 😓It’s been an amazing short Journey and I’m ready to learn more skills.

I enrolled my child into the youth program a few months ago and have been extremely satisfied. The teaching at this academy has been very valuable. Coach Bebber is well organized and efficient at running an academy. We have seen enormous growth in our Training (Myself and 3 sons attend here) in just under 4 months (we have been training for 4 years on and off at some Word Class facilities). Coach Bebber is uniquely able to teach all aspects of high quality jiu jitsu and to read individual types of people. He is very personable and an amazing teacher. Best of all He encourages a welcoming atmosphere.

The BJJ instruction is fantastic and the community is 2nd to none. Everybody at the gym is amazing. I’ve just started my BJJ journey and I’m very glad I chose Fenix as my home gym. Highly recommend.

Fenix is more of a community then it is just a gym that you train at. Coach Bebber and the rest of the instructors are amazing at teaching BJJ. It is a great place for many people of different backgrounds to come together and better themselves. Not only will you perform better physically by training BJJ, but it also will teach you how to stay calm under pressure. Fenix is also a Military/ First responder friendly gym that wants to keep you safe and make sure you get home to your family! I was here for a week visiting family and was looking for a place to roll. Everyone here welcomed me as part of the bjj family from the moment I stepped on the mat. The instruction was great, and everyone was respectful but tenacious during rolling. I will definitely come back here next time I am in town and I highly suggest you do so as well.

So coming into Jiu Jitsu I was a little hesitant, this entire team immediately makes you feel like part of the family. Not only do they take the time to help you understand the techniques/concepts, they also will help you drill them until you have them down. Fènix Jiu-Jitsu is the best place to train/begin your Jiu Jitsu journey. Jiu Jitsu is a way to train not only your body, but also your mind.

Just finished my first classes for jiu jujitsu here. The instructor Jason was excellent and gave great feedback throughout the class. I travel from Greensboro North Carolina to Hickory which is over an hour away to go to this school. The one main reason for this is Jason Bebber and his sexy body. I must say that it is really hard to concentrate in class, but when he touches me it is pure ecstasy. 5 stars.

I was in on a business trip and needed to get some training on the road. I messaged Fenix BJJ and they responded right away. They invited me in without the standard 20 questions you get from many schools. The location great and clean. I love basements and the air was fresh and clean, not mildewed.The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They welcomed me in, warmed up and proceeded to the instruction which lasted over 45 minutes. It was a set of escapes from side control, great move and easy to learn.We followed up with live rolling for about 45 min. Everyone was great, polite, and super respectful. It felt like Home!I liked this place so much that I came back the next day for nogi.The class was setup the same way but shorter. I was informed ahead of time regarding the rules and allowed subs during live rolling.All the students were great and rolled safely without cranking in subs. All in all Coach Bebber has a great place with down to earth people that want to learn great Jiu Jitsu.This place gets my recommendation X10!!Thx for the hospitality!!

The layout of the gym itself is spacious enough for a growing class, especially with word of additional mats coming in soon. Instruction is scaffolded in a way where beginners and novices will pick up techniques quickly in a very welcoming environment. The instructor, Jason Bebber, is very knowledgeable about the craft and provides the information in an accessible manner.Highly recommended for current/former wrestlers, as the various techniques and methodology presented makes for a smooth transition from the singlet to the gi.
