I have been attending classes here for about a year. The teachers are highly experienced with the achievements to support their methods. I have seen drastic improvements in my health and my abilities, and I look forward to every class.The leadership creates a welcoming environment where training partners become friends. Cant ask for a better martial arts gym.

My son and I have been training at this gym for about 4 years now. My son is in BJJ and kickboxing, and he has learned more than just martial arts here. More importantly, he has learned discipline and hard work. He has competed in tournaments and won medals. The support from Prof. Nick, Sensei Neil and Coach Jeff are outstanding! They’re true martial artists in every sense. The kickboxing classes help me stay fit and healthy. Sensei Neil will work with your level but makes sure to push you to help you improve. The facility is clean and they take the necessary measures to keep everyone safe. The family atmosphere is amazing! We’ve made a lot of great friends here. Definitely the best in the area!

We were introduced to East Coast MMA about two years ago. Since day one I liked this school and felt very comfortable with the coaches. My kids have been training there for a long time. Over the years I have watched coach Anthony and Neil encourage them and assist them not only on the mat but off the mat. They have helped my son with issues at school and in personal life which has allowed him to be more confident and for that I am great full. The school is clean, focused and they look after the kids well. They are focused on training then and becoming confident and disciplined. Then you have coach Jeff. The big Poppa. He goes out of his way to encourage kids and adults to train and make it to class and assist then not only on the mat but has helped many in their personal lives when needed. The combination of coach Jeff, Anthony and Neil make a great team and the kids love them as well as hey love the kids and work hrs with them. My wife has been looking to get back into shape for a long time but never was encouraged to pick up a program that would work for her career and busy life with kids. She has been training with coach Anthony for three month and I cant tell you the difference in her personality and energy. She looks forward to going and working out and that just reflects the amazing programs they offer and the support all the coaches give to the adults and children. I highly recommend this school to anyone.

This is a great place to train whether your goal is to defend yourself, exercise, learn discipline, or compete. There are multiple programs for children and adults, which offer different forms of martial arts and methods to help improve the goal you are trying to achieve. Both coach Anthony and Neil make great teachers, leaders, and have great ways to help you improve yourself! Great place to train!

It’s amazing to be there and experience the fun you can have. Classes are fun but hard. Just keep on practicing what you need help on.

This is a top notch MMA school with great instructors. They are a well priced Dojo that offers kickboxing classes for fitness and technique, along with Jiu Jitsu. This is a nice blend for those seeking either self defense or fitness in a fun and welcoming environment.

Easily the best place to call home. Though I am not from Hicksville, the people here made me feel like I was. You can learn a lot from Coach Anthony as he guides you through the art of Jiu Jitsu or as he likes to call it The art of Gentleness, and if you ever compete there is no one that will coach you through a fight like this guy. Coach Neil is a very fierce but patient teacher. Not only was he an excellent coach that believed in me more than anyone else did but I wouldnt hesitate to call him a father figure, he is excellent with the kids in east coast and also one of the greatest martial artists Ive ever known. Last but not least Coach Jeff is probably one of the most caring and thoughtful person on the planet. He is always on top of things in East Coast making sure everybody is working hard and pushing every body past their limits so that they can all be in the best shape of their life. Unfortunately I am no longer a part of the school for reasons out of my control, but if I could have anything in this world, it would be another chance to go back and train.

One of the best places I have ever trained. Ive been training martial arts for 16 years, both as an adult and as a kid. Not only are the facilities here top notch - with a nice weight room and two big, clean mats - but also the instruction is top notch. My BJJ game has improved markedly with the tailored instructions of coach Anthony Wolter. Hes an MMA fighter, a karate black belt and an ace jui-jitsu practitioner. He is patient and particular. He works individually with each student and always makes sure they perfect each technique he teaches. He always maintains a caring and safe environment for each student to grow and become the best they can be.Bravo to ECMMA. A phenomenal gym.
