VEEB is the very best LPN school in NY. Am grateful to VEEB and the adorable instructors, supervisor and non teaching staff. The class room and clinical instructors are born nurses that perfected in impacting knowledge. We used to complain that they were too strict and intense with school and clinical work but when you become a VEEB nurse you can’t but ask God to bless those instructors for helping give you a firm foundation in nursing.

They fail you on purpose so they can continue to take your money. I took the test last year, passed the math but failed the reading by just 2 points. Okay, fine. Took it again this year passed the reading failed the math by ONE point. The algorithm didn’t make sense, 20 minutes for 40 math questions? Math is a subject where you have to read with understanding and write it out, so that time frame is bound to have people fail. They gave us those old 1999 calculators with just addition and subtraction when a lot of the questions required a more advanced calculator. And when I pressed the buttons it wouldn’t even work. Don’t recommend this place, go somewhere else!

They do not follow NYS covid guidlines for in person learning at all. They do not social distance properly (class room rows are not 6ft apart vertically only horizontally). They say they require masks in school yet I have been in class with other students who had their mask down the entire class and no one from the staff telling them to put it back on. Per NYS higher education guidelines you must be in a well ventilated area for in person learning, and they group a bunch of students into the basement. They should be investigated by NYS department of health.

If I could rate the school based on the admissions CLERK Joanne they would receive a negative 5. This woman was rude, abrupt and a poor representation of this school. Majority of the questions I asked her, she could on reply with sir its on our website. Each time she was asked a question it was either its too early to tell. I explained that I was coming from out of state and before I could get out that I was driving to my next job. She said its on our website, when I asked her name I had no choice but to let her know I was a maam not a sir. If Joanne asked my name as most admissions reps do. She would have known that. She was annoyed that I called at 3:35 and her reply for being abrupt was. We close at 4:30 look it up on the website. I work in healthcare and this person is a poor example of this school. First impression is everything and she ruined it. I was so ANNOYED I called her the B word! Im not a low class person, however, her behavior was low class. What you give out you receive. Get rid of her! She should not be a face for a nursing program.

I graduated from this school in 2008 and it was the best experience ever. A. Quinn who is now the supervisor and she was the best Human Growth supervisor in the world!! Yes she’s tough but the school had great teachers and staff at that time and I recommend this school highly. The school is strict but I feel that is needed as a first nursing experience. VEEB LPN all the way!!!

This is the first review I have ever written. I was accepted into the program but decided to not attend after paying $1000. The refund is %50 which I was aware of. It has now been 3 months of me calling the business/financial aid office. I haven’t received my check but patty sent it out apparently. She proceeded to hang up on me today when I called to check on it. I called back and Kathy answered. She said I now have to pay for the stop payment bc it’s my fault. She continued to belittle me and say how it can’t possiby be anyone else’s fault then mine that I didn’t receive my mail. They are all so rude and unprofessional. I am so glad I went with hunter business school instead of this place!

Graduated in 2004. It was hard but well worth it. Went on to do my ADN, BSN and MSN, but I learned most of my nursing skills from VEEB. Best choice I made in regards to furthering my education.

This school is so unprofessional! i went their for the year 2016 and the teachers and supervisor Agnes Quinn are all disrespectful and insulting to students, except for maybe two teachers; one of the two quit! They are rude! ill mannered! treat students like they in kindergarden! Ask questions and they cower you down and belittle you on top of it. They create a dictatorship environment. The financial aid office people are rude especially a short fat man called phillip! You ask him about why your bill comes up to so much and he will ask if you cant read something smart like that. The supervisor Agnes Quinn is the worst of them all! Any complaint or unfairness of the teachers actions and you go to her to make a complaint she will tell you that, her teachers are right and whatever they say she believe because they are RN She literally said that to me! She screams at students as well as at some teachers. Scream like she has a bull horn in her throat, imagine someone screaming at you like a crazy person when you calmly ask a question. Smh, Every student that went their couldnt wait to leave and put this horrible experience behind them. If you like being intimidated, talk down to and treated like a child, then by all means go.If you are going to that school bring a recorder or tape every conversation, i wish i did so that i couldve evidence to sue them for emotional breakdown. Smh.

Its been about 6 months and Im still disappointed! No one informed me that you have to get 100 percent on all 2 exams inorder to be accepted to the program. I literally got 2 answers wrong on the English and 100 percent on the math and they denied me for that.....
