Awesome school. It could use a lot more diversity though. I loved my teachers.

It is truly a blessing to be able to send our daughters to Wesleyan. Weve been part of the Wesleyan family since 2001 when our oldest started in daycare - she graduated last May! We have said numerous times we would make any sacrifice necessary in order to keep our girls in this wonderful school. The teachers and administration are second to none and I know that they truly care about and love my girls. There is nothing like knowing you have a partner who is vested in the educational and spiritual development of your children. I would (and do!) recommend this school to anyone seeking the nurturing environment found at WCA!

We are so thankful to have this wonderful school right in our area. The teachers and staff do their best to encourage learning, and they really care about the children and the community. Wesleyan also has exemplary sports and fine arts programs. I am thrilled with the opportunity for my middle schooler to participate in band, and the spring musicals are top notch.I forget sometimes just how blessed we are to have our kids here, but when I go in for a parent/teacher meeting and the teacher opens the meeting with prayer, praying for my child and my family...that is something special.

Our son has been at Wesleyan since Pre- Kindergarten. He has two more years before graduation. We have been so blessed by Wesleyan all of these years. The teachers, administration, coaches and support staff have been amazing examples of Gods love. The friends our son has made will be friends for life. We are so very grateful for the Christian education and life lessons our son has obtained from Wesleyan. He will definitely be ready for college. No school is perfect because people are not perfect, but Wesleyan comes pretty close!

Wesleyan has been an amazing blessing in my life and the life of my family. I attended Wesleyan K-12 and, now that I have a family of my own, my children attend. From the Christ centered environment and curriculum to the caring faculty and staff, Wesleyan is THE choice for Christian education! I cannot imagine having a better experience anywhere else!

After having my daughter in there childcare for 2 years, there was no doubt in our mind that she would not attend the academy. We are in our 4th year at Wesleyan and LOVE the school and faculty. It was the BEST decision and I would highly recommend it to anyone else.

I’m a student before but moved to another school sadly, I don’t against Christian but I don’t really believe so much, I will say I’m a Christian, anyways, the homework is insanely HARD, you have to remember a sentence or like 5 sentence of bible as a first grader, people say food is great, well uh, I remember I eat there food and it wasn’t even hot, potato tot was like, and the chick nugget have black area. ( edit this to 3 star since the issues )

Great school. Great teachers. So glad the leaders of First Wesleyan Church had the vision to start this school and the vision to put great Christian leaders in place.

Wesleyan Christian Academy has been a blessing to our entire family. Our children have thrived both spiritually and academically. The kids are excited to get up and go to school each day. The teachers and staff provide a supportive environment. The schools decisions are made Biblically, prayerfully, and with great wisdom. Wesleyan also has a wonderful athletic department, fine arts, and opportunities for kids to serve the community. I wish every child could experience being a student at WCA - the wonderful people you meet there quickly become part of your family.

My two boys have been attending Wesleyan Christian Academy since they were in Daycare. The environment is nothing but positive. My oldest is in 5th grade and my youngest is in 2nd grade. The curriculum is rigid and challenging. For example, in 1st grade the students begin Latin and continue studying it until 4th grade. This has helped so much with vocabulary. As the years progress the students take on more responsibility and are taught that this is their education. The teachers are amazing! The have high standards for the kids and expect the best from them. They are strict, but they LOVE the kids. Communication is great. If issues have arisen every single teacher has been quick to help solve it in conjunction with us.We have been very pleased thus far and would recommend this school to anyone and everyone.

Terrible. There were a few good teachers, but a few religious zealots too, real weirdos who werent equipped with any knowledge that surpassed their biblical beliefs. Ive never been exposed to so many Christians who were hateful, judgmental, and even snobby, always asking have you been saved? They wanted nothing but to train kids to be little conforming Christian Soldiers that dressed alike, listen to terrible contemporary Christian music (pop music was Satanic), and harshly judge others for not believing the Wesleyan way. Hopefully things have changed, but I highly doubt it. Save yourself, your money and look into other schools!

This school was the worst school I ever expericed. I was a student at the enrichment center and I was treated like a second class citizen. One time in the third grade I was in computer class and the teacher asked me if I knew how to spell my name. No this isnt a joke. However in 5th grade I had to take a end of the year test at the enrichment center and I tested at a 12th grade reading and writing level. But for whatever reason when it was requested I be moved to the academy for English and writing I was denied. Also the school has no control over bullying. I ended up leaving in 8th grade for this reason.

WESLEYAN IS AN EXCELLENT SCHOOL! The negative reviews are absolutely contrary to my familys experience and my observations as an educator and educational researcher. My kids were largely not pushed and even at times overlooked and allowed to coast in their public elementary school because they were good kids and tested very well on End of Year and standardized tests - at WCA, theyve experienced authentic learning and high achievement in not only the tested math and reading subjects but also in writing, history, geography, art, music, literature, & science. Honestly, theyve flourished with the high expectations of the teachers and the school (which can be an adjustment at first) and they are getting truly prepared for success in high school, college, and beyond. In terms of academics, sports, arts, music, and drama, the wisest thing that we did for our kids was to get them into WCA (granted it isnt cheap). It is not uncommon to hear that some families commute almost 2 hours daily to get to and from WCA. The character building in EVERYTHING they do is wonderful (and in my experience is not in an over-the-top holier than thou kind of way either but in a truly humbling, celebrating, and learning from our differences type of tone). My kids WANT to make a difference in this world and WCA is preparing them both academically and spiritually while encouraging them to discover what that means for them individually. I would absolutely recommend Wesleyan for anyone.
