Can’t believe I’m going to this school. Smh, it’s so bad the teachers don’t even help you one time I was coughing and a teacher asked me “are you mocking me” in 6th grade I was speechless because all I did was cough. They’re so bossy and angry like you don’t have to be here I rather be in southern😂

BEATS PUBLIC SCHOOL BY A MILE!!! We had a horrible experience when my son went to Pilot Elementary for 1st grade. I wanted to get him out of public school, but I couldnt afford private. I was so happy when his name was picked to go to Phoenix. This was like a breath of fresh air. My son is shy and he was bullied really bad at Pilot. Thankfully, there is no bullying at Phoenix, because they have a no tolerance policy. He is going into 8th grade now. Last year, he had a bad accident and was out of school a lot because of his surgery and many physical therapy appointments. All of his teachers worked together to help him pass. No public school would ever do that. Im so grateful for this wonderful school. If you are not sure about sending your kids here, you can rest assured that you are making the right decision. Overall, most of the teachers are great. You will find bad seeds in every school, you just cant avoid that. Ive been very impressed by this school and I only hope they will start a High School.

My son is currently in 3rd grade. He started in Phoenix academy since 1st grade. He really enjoyed going to school every day. As a parent I am overwhelmed with the standard of education that my son received in this school. The school is very safe especially that they only had one entrance and there is always staff in front desk and an officer in campus. The school door is locked during school hours that makes me feel that my child is secure while in school. All staff is very friendly and approachable. I salute them for their prompt response when questions needed.Thank you to all the teachers and staff for all your hard work. Everyone in school is like a family especially in my sons classroom.Well done Phoenix Academy.

We love Phoenix Academy. This is my sons second year there and he has excelled in so many ways. I love the fact that the teachers are wonderful, more one on one time and his grades couldnt be any better. The staff is very kind, professional, and loves what they do. We made a great move by becoming part of the Phoenix family.

Very pleased with the level of learning and education from this school. I have noticed a huge improvement in my childs grades, self esteem and ability to problem solve. I only wish I had enrolled my child there sooner. This school has been wonderful and I look forward to seeing what this place has to offer in the future.

The worse school I’ve ever been to. As much as I’ve tried to forget everything, I’ll never forget how in the 6th grade I was told I had to take off my button up sweater for a class picture and then had to get my picture taken with self h*rm scars on my arm for my home-room classmates and teacher to see. No apologizes for putting me through such embarrassment, no reasoning as to why I needed to take off my sweater, no anything. Do not apply to send your child here.

My son, Mark, had a terrible experience with his former fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Ashline. He was out sick with the flu for a week and when he came back he asked for the missing work and she would not give it to him. Once he told me this I was infuriated but he insisted it was fine and to not do anything about it. He is in 7th grade now and has her again. He was out this week until now and didn’t get the homework and asked for it. She refused to give it to him until he asked for the fifth time at the end of the day. I hope you fix your teacher so she can do her job right.

Excellent school where the students come first, individualized instruction is the norm, and teachers are valued and respected. Phoenix provides a safe, fun learning environment where every child can excel. Hands down the best school in the area!

My 3 children have attended Phoenix since Kindergarten. There have been very few behavior issue from or towards my children. The teachers have done a great job challenging my children with accelerated curriculum, but one weak spot for the school is when my children struggled or fell behind I had to get outside tutoring assistance. Even then the teachers worked with the tutors to ensure the added efforts paid off. I know other in these comment have had issues, but this has been a very good school for all of my kids!

I have had children at Phoenix Academy for 7 year. I currently have a 6th grader and 3rd grader. My kids love their school. They have had wonderful teachers and are challenged academically. My oldest has participated in school athletics and both have participated in clubs. I am pleased with the extracaricular activities provided by the school and am happy to see more growth/choices every year. I am active and involved in their school and education. I feel parents as well as staff have the responsibility of making a school great.

As a former student at this school, i was bullied by my own teachers and mocked by the principle on multiple occasions throughout my 8 years here.i honestly couldn’t tell you a single time i felt comfortable with a subject i was learning here.if i had an obvious problem in class, nine times out of ten, the teacher, instead of trying to talk to me and figure out what was going on, got upset with me and would call home (the only time i ever talk in school is if i absolutely have to, i’m a generally very shy, quiet person. i mainly ‘got in trouble’ for crying in class and not being able to pay attention).the best choice i’ve ever made was switching schools, my grades and overall mood has improved so so so much since i switched.if you really care about your children, don’t send them here.

Very hard to understand how school administrator Buddy Coleman kicked my wife and I out of the office because we asked him to speak to the parents of a student who was showing pornography in class to other students on a school computer... if you love your children, please consider other schooling options. I know we will be.

I have chosen Phoenix for both of my daughters who are 15 years apart. This school offers options, a sense of family unity, smaller class sizes and an open-source of communication with teachers and staff.

The absolute worst school I’ve ever had to deal with! My son had ADHD so when things get to be too much for him he sometimes shuts down. Well instead of helping him through it this schools response is to just give him OSS. That is not how you handle a child that shuts down. They don’t investigate issues and if you try to talk to them they act like they didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve been thrown out and threatened with the cops many times by Coleman and others. They refuse to hear you out and they don’t care about what really happened. I know this bc they have never asked any questions about what was wrong or why he shut down. I absolutely hate this school! My advise is do not send you child to this school!!!!!

My child was being shown obscene images by bullies in the school and effected my child emotionally to the point she would cry herself to sleep. The administrator, Buddy Coleman, refused to even talk to the other child’s parents even after a second independent child reported the matter. When I asked for further resolution, Buddy Coleman kicked me and my wife (who is also employed at the school) out of his office
