I had a hard time finding a school that taught everything I needed to know. Im so glad I could continue my education here!

A great experience and place to train for beginners and advanced martial arts students. I have been happy training here for many years.

I love this place. Having never learned any martial arts in my life, I was nervous, but the instructors here are patient and encouraging. The school community is very welcoming and positive. Everyone is at different levels, and it is really exciting to get sneak peeks into all the things there are to learn. The health benefits are ridiculous. After 5 months, I lost 45 pounds, and where I used to feel anxious and sad, I now feel very level. I’m also generally less stiff from all the flowing movement and more flexible.I came for Qi Gong but have also earned a yellow belt (so far) in Splashing Hands, and have had the opportunity to explore bits of Chinese meditation, Tai Chi, Hsing-I, Tien Gunn and more. If you don’t know what those are, rest assured, I didn’t either. Sifu and Tom do a great job of breaking everything down into digestible parts.I have tried a number of physical activities and always got bored with the repetition. Kung fu is different. There is always a next level to reach or another layer to peel, and that keeps me interested and engaged.Lastly, Sifu teaches concepts of Chinese philosophy, including Taoism, as he teaches the mechanics of kung fu, and the fact is, these philosophies follow us out of the practice of martial arts and meditation and into our daily lives. The whole experience changes each person in a very special way.Plus, the look on people’s faces in other parts of my life when I talk about kung fu training is pretty fabulous.

Kung Fu Temple is great and safe way to learn martial arts. I have always wanted to learn Kung Fu, but nobody offers it. Sifu Richard is a great teacher and he puts a lot of enthusiasm and heart into his lessons, especially in private classes. He is very knowledgeable and after two years of classes, my 6 year old and myself have learned a lot. Kung Fu is incredible and the amount of styles, applications is endless and anybody can always find something suitable for himself. You can choose to cultivate this art for beauty or for combat applications. Either way it is very fulfilling.

We were travelers in town from the West Coast that searched Groupon for things to do. We called and the facility manager was accommodating. We actually didnt purchase the Groupon and the front desk attendant accepted the Groupon pricing. This is great exercise and has quite a few virtual reality games to play through. It is only one player, but my lady and I simply competed on best score. Thank you!

This was a very disappointing experience, terrible customer service from the owners son. Not only was the VR machine wasnt working for our booked appointment but, Barron was the rudest person. Not only did he tell me he looses out on groupon purchases, but the way he waved his hands after telling me to get my refund and be done with it because his system wasnt working, very unprofessional. I brought my neices and nephews here for a cool day with me, their Aunt, and we left all disappointed, angry and sad for the kids to witness this.

When I first came to The Temple of Kung Fu I could tell there was something fundamentaly different than other martial arts schools, there were no trophies in the windows, and nobody was wearing a belt, Sifu didnt tell me about all his triumphs as a martial artist, but rather talked about the students he helped. Everyone there was very relaxed and happy, unlike other schools where many people seem angry and agressive. I had been doing martial arts for over a decade, and I thought I was a good fighter, but I found myself instantly overwhelmed in sparring by even the beginner students. The mentality, way of movement, athletic and health benefits are unlike any other, and I cannot recommend this school enough.
