Rodriguez is AMAZING! Great instructors, great atmosphere. They really want to make sure the kids really understand the concept of the moves. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to boost their childs confidence while giving them the tools to defend themselves in any situation.

This is the best place i could go to for martial arts if i looked, everyone there is so nice and it is very cool how it is fully family owned.

We recently enrolled our grandson in the Tiger program and he is absolutely over the moon about the class. Mr. Richie is patient and clearly shows how much he loves what he is doing and cares about his students. It is a very positive environment and teaching the children discipline and respect for use in their everyday lives.

We love the fun environment of Rodriguez ATA! They welcomed us with open arms when we moved and transferred ATA schools. I also love the extra conditioning and strength training my kids receive here. Me and my kids have actively been training here for almost two years and are constantly impressed with the gym. In 2020, we had a lot of challenging things to overcome and they did an amazing job keeping the gym a safe place to train while continuing to offer other options to keep people learning in difficult times. This family is a Highland Village Treasure. The place is fantastic and has a friendly atmosphere. My son Grayson has Cerebral Palsy and Tae Kwon Duo along with his therapy has improved his quality of life and balance immensely. Would highly recommend them everyday and twice on Sunday!!!!

Great family owned martial arts school. Great instructors who the kids and parents love and respect! Both my girls have been training for around 9 months and just received their green Belts. Everyday when they get home from school they look forward to class and are averaging 4 classes a week and really excited to begin the sparring phase of their training and compete in yheir first tournament at ATA worlds in june. As a parent its been a joy watching their ability and confidence grow in such a short period of time! Really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for them.Only regret I have is.... not becoming members sooner!

This is such a great place for my son to learn Taekwondo. Mr Richie is super nice but firm with the young kids. They have a good mix of working hard and having fun!

We signed up our son last year at 8 years old. He continues now 1 year later and loves every minute of it. Instructors are top notch. My wife and I joined this year in the adult class. I highly recommend checking this school out. They are now an extension of family!

We have been at the Rodriguez ATA Martial Arts Academy since January 2018. We could not be more delighted with this studio. (To be fair we do not have any experience with another studio to compare.) The instructors, Richie & David, are truly fantastic with the kids. They are very encouraging and get the children to strive for goals and work hard. Ive seen a big difference in my son since hes started. He feels proud about his hard work in class and at competitions, is learning leadership skills, and how to teach lower ranking belts. Since its a family run studio we have really grown to appreciate Felix and Betty (Richie & Davids parents) for all that they do to help the studio be successful. They truly feel like family to us now. Also, I like how they do the forms so that the kids are learning correct technique and not just rushing through. Since weve been going they have started a homeschool class on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons that have been a fun mix of ages, belts, and skill levels. We highly recommend this studio to anyone we know and the friends that have started their children here have been very pleased also.

Ive known Richie and David for many years now. I have always seen their incredible talent, their passion and their respect for martial arts. When Richie first opened his school I was one of his first students and it was a BLAST! He knew exactly what to do to help anyone learn and retain. My 12-year-old son has practiced at Rodriguez ATA for 3 years and we love it. Richie and David are outstanding instructors. We have had an amazing experience here. The instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. Our son, Dane, has been attending Rodriguez ATA for about a year now. Aside from his progress in the class, I have been impressed from the beginning with the family atmosphere and the commitment to the well being of the students and their development, not just in martial arts, but as individuals. Richie and David both possess a natural ability to gently but firmly correct the younger kids in a way that cant be taught, and also clearly have the teaching skills and talent to develop the more advanced juniors and adults. And when you add in the rest of the family, Felix, Betty, and Melanie, you will not find a nicer group of folks to deal with.

This family owned Ata is an amazing place. Amazing staff , teachers. We tried 2weeks class for our 7year old who was not interested in martial arts, glad we did as after 1st week of class he is showing interest in learning more. Now we are planning & looking forward on a long term. I would like to mention Mrs Betty she is an amazing person & very kind, patient & look after this Ata so nicely. I can only speak about the Jiu Jitsu classes, but this is a great place to train! You can see the instructors REALLY CARE about all of their students. We transferred from another school that closed down and are totally satisfied with our experience at Rodriguez ATA. Both of our sons are learning and growing in their Jiu Jitsu abilities. I attended adult classes for awhile and then my schedule changed, otherwise I would still be there. We plan on being here for a long time! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone (Adults or Children) that want to learn Jiu Jitsu.*** update 3/11/2020 *** My boys have continued in the BJJ program and learned and have grown to love BJJ. Im a 4th degree black belt under Kama Jiu-jitsu ( Rickson Gracie associate ) and i recommend the Rodriguez brothers Jiu-jitsu 100%! Their self defense and Jiu-jitsu technique are top notch!

We are lucky to have this school in our community. David and Richie are natural teachers and deserving mentors. I have had two kids in their school for over a year now and I cannot say enough good things. My oldest is in both the tae kwon do and jujitsu programs. The combination of useful defensive techniques and compassionate and disciplined instructions provides them with tools useful in many aspects of their lives. It takes a village and I am blessed to have them in my village. I have recently started the adult program and can say the depth of knowledge they have will challenge me endlessly. The work out I get is challenging, interesting and practical. The family atmosphere is remarkable as well. It is truly a family business. You can tell they are in this business for all the right reasons as evidenced by their business practices. No Contracts required.
