The owner Jason hired me to clean his home in July and still has not paid me. I have reached out many times to handle this professionally, but he has not responded. This is so disappointing because he wouldnt settle for no payment from his clients, but is willing to short another small business. House cleaning is a luxury service he was made aware of the rate before scheduling with us. If affordability was an issue, that should have been communicated before hiring a professional service.

I was looking for a good martial arts school for my kids, ages 8 and 14, something with a lot of class options and professional instructors. I was pleasantly surprised with Legacy Martial Arts. The class offerings are abundant, the instructors stern but caring, and there was a sense of community. After a few weeks my wife and I joined, and our family has forever changed for the better. We love that the family as a whole can participate in the same classes! We have all lost weight, grown stronger and more flexible and we spend more quality time together than ever before. Mr Strong, the head instructor, is a talented teacher and leader, and we are blessed to have found such an amazing school and community. We highly recommend!

The owner, Jason, is refusing to communicate or pay the company I work for. As a small business owner, you can’t request a luxury service and refuse to pay. I’m sure he wouldn’t appreciate that from his customers. Don’t disrespect people and not expect karma for your actions. Since he is refusing to pay or communicate, I highly recommend everyone interested in joining his establishment to reconsider doing business with him as he is very untrustworthy.

Incredible instructors who truly care about teaching their students not only the important martial arts skills, but important LIFE skills too, such as, confidence, leadership, discipline and self-advocacy. I’ve watched other young participants transform and grow in front of my very own eyes.My 12 year old absolutely enjoys every moment and even appreciates the opportunity to engage with some of the adults in his class.Legacy truly invests in their participants and we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. We wanted to try martial arts for different reason for both our kids. We had no idea what to expect when we started. In only 2 weeks with Mr. Strong, both kids are in love with the program. my son is shy and nervous about trying ANYTHING new. I can already see a change in his mind, growing confidence and strength. My daughter is a very free spirit, and Mr. Strong challenges her focus in a fun environment where she still feels comfortable to be herself, while we learn how to center her energy. I am beyond impressed with the staff and how much they care about their students.

Mr. Strong helped me bring my family together to focus, learn and most importantly- get healthy and strong. We were so happy to feel at ease when we came in. It’s like everyone is family and they will work with you in whatever you need or want to get better at. It’s the best decision I ever made to start going and it’s so rewarding to be side by side with my sons in class and learning with them.

We entered our 5 year old boy into Legacy with the sole purpose of getting him to focus and listen better. Two years later, he has not only improved exponentially in those two areas, but Legacy has also taught him incredible physical skills he wouldn’t have otherwise. These guys are amazing. Our family absolutely loves this studio. We are all learning karate together - from 3 years old to thirty (something...). The instructors teach the skills, technique and respect necessary to succeed in karate and life. I was also shocked at what a good workout I get in just 30 minutes. LOVE THIS PLACE!! My 2 kids both go here and are very different in age, they both absolutely love doing karate here!! The instructors are awesome and are great at getting the kids to open up have fun while still learning the importance of listening and self control. My daughter and I both attend classes here. I love the environment, it feels like a big family. The classes are challenging but we are always striving to learn and perfect the art. Mr.Strong, Miss Renee and the other instructors are so helpful and encouraging. This is a great place for the whole family to learn and grow through martial arts.

Our son, Leo, was born extremely premature and unlike his older brother, sports havent really been his thing. When we first started ATA he dreaded practice and was generally timid. Now, after receiving his orange belt and training for several months hes excited to go and train. Hes developing confidence and getting great exercise. Keep it up, ATA!

Amazing martial arts school. Its a very encouraging environment and have great instructors especially Mr Strong and Mr. Lauffer.

We enrolled when covid took out all our other sporting activities. It’s not exactly close to our house but the instructors make it with the drive. Our son really has learned a new sport as well as life skills and we like watching him advance through the levels.

I was fairly dubious about putting our kids in martial arts classes, but these guys have turned out to be great. The instructors have been awesome. The kids get LOTS of exercise and some good real world lessons.

This school has been amazing. They treat everyone at the school like family and the instructors are wonderful. They also do great community outreach work. Weve been going as a family for almost 3 years and plan on staying for many more years to come.

We absolutely love ATA Karate Denver. One of my girls began there when she was five and after graduating out of the “Tiny Tiger” section onto the big floor the rest of our family joined in. We have all advanced through the ranks - following behind the original child. Our youngest is now in the Tiger room and loves it. It’s amazing to see their flexibility and strength improve along with the mental and behavior characteristics. Mom, Dad and teen are also engaged and keeping fit. It’s a great family activity. All of the instructors know our family and great us warmly. They have come to work at our school and have helped our PE and PTO so much. I highly recommend this center and program.

My children have attended ATA Family Karate Denver in Highlands Ranch for the past year and I cannot even describe what a great place it is. The skills they teach are not solely karate skills, but also LIFE skills. Skills like looking someone in the eye when you shake their hand or being accountable for your own actions! The staff here really care about the children and I feel truly like family. I especially love when Mr. Collier teaches the students. As a parent watching my children, hes very entertaining with uses of humor to lighten but share examples of why students should act with integrity. The students respect and care about class and really enjoy attending. This is a great place and I highly recommend it!

Hi guys,I am sorry to let you know that the classes are not worth.Those who think if you really want to learn the good techniques and the moves its not the right place.one of my kid attend the class for past six months he dislikes as he was demotivated at the time of test in huge crowd.according to my knowledge its not a good place for kids to learn.they show lot of partiality. Discourage the kids.the staff dont give proper attention to the kids.

My son originally went here because he had his birthday party at Karate Denver. He has since signed up for lessons and Ive definitely noticed an increase in his confidence and respect toward others and his responsibilities. I would HIGHLY recommend signing any child up here!

I saw a previous reviewer had a bad experience and I felt compelled to share my familys experience. My son has always had difficulties paying attention and having a lack of confidence. He started going to ATA Karate Denver back in July and we have seen a VAST improvement. He does his chores without being asked, hes able to speak up for himself, and he feels like he could defend himself if he needed to. The staff here is amazing and in particular, there is a black belt named Matthew that Cayden especially looks up to and hopes is helping at every class he goes to. Suffice to say, ATA is DEFINITELY worth the money and they even have a 30 day free trial you can use to ensure that it really is the right place for you and your family. I highly recommend them.

Our whole family (mom, dad, and daughters) attends Karate Denver together and we love it! The instructors are fabulous, and we really value the emphasis on respect, manners, self-discipline, and fitness. Its a super fun family activity!

My whole family trained at the location in Lone Tree and completely fell in love with the sport and the staff! They quickly became family away from family for them. After my parents moved away, I decided to start training myself, and again.. became really close with the instructors and other students at both schools. They really care about their students inside and outside of class. I also learned a lot about myself here. I gained confidence, more respect for myself and those around me, and other awesome skills that will carry with me forever!!! Because of this, after I received my black belt, I was asked to come on as an employee for the school. It did not take me long to decide to leave my other job and sign on as one of Karate Denvers Program Directors. It has been the best job I could hope for because of the relationships Ive gained here, the skills Ive learned here, and the training that has helped me stay active in such a FUN way. After working here for 3 years, Im happy to say that Ive kept the relationships I gained as a student and created even more with our students and their families. What an awesome place to train!!! ATA Karate Denver has been a fantastic experience for my family. We found ATA through my sons birthday party, and instantly connected with the instructors and the learning style. My children and I all participate, and the wonderful instructors ensure that every participant is appropriately coached and challenged, and every persons abilities are valued. Even though I cant keep up with my kids, I always feel comfortable in class! In addition, they teach a very balanced curriculum that focuses on leadership, self-discipline, citizenship AND martial arts. They believe in building mental, physical, and emotional skills, which is an incredible balance.

We have been attending ATA Karate Denver for the past 6 months and have nothing but GREAT things to say. My two boys 4 and 6 have shown great improvement in listening and self-discipline. They have always treated my kiddos like part of the family.

My son began going to Karate Denver in both Highlands Ranch and Lone Tree many years ago. The instructors are top notch, the facilities are clean, and the students and parents feel like family. It is a very warm place and there are lots of different programs to meet every child’s needs. While my son is more of an extreme martial artist, he continues to work on the traditional forms with these amazing instructors so he can be more precise in extreme. Other kids love the sparring and the drills where they learn how to defend themselves. The Friday night weapons class at Lonetree is awesome. There is even a demo team to join if they want more of a team feel to Taekwondo. They also have Saturday leadership classes once a month where they bring in some great guest instructors. If you are looking for two amazing Martial Arts schools with lots to offer and amazing experiences, both Karate Denver Highlands Ranch and Karate Denver Lonetree are the places to be!

While I am all about marketing and I know businesses have to do it I dont appreciate taking my information off a liability waiver that I am required to sign from attending a birthday party and then calling me. The first time I was not happy but I understand marketing I politely said no thank you. Calling me 2 months later just makes me mad and gets you bad reviews. PS my child really did not have fun at the party or have any interest in karate.

My family and I have been with ATA Karate Denver for over 2 years. We have absolutely loved the unique experience that we have received in our Black Belt training. Our family of five decided to train together and it has been such a rewarding experience for each of us. We have decided to continue training for our 2nd degree black belts.Mr. Strong, as owner and chief instructor has delivered on his promise to train us in a variety of disciplines such as taekwondo, wrestling, jujitsu, kick boxing and multiple weapons, etc. while maintaining the integrity and structure of ATA Taekwondo. He brings many years of real life experience and is an outstanding motivator and instructor.Mr. Collier, the head instructor, brings a high level of experience to Karate Denver. We have greatly appreciated his teaching skills especially in technique,forms and sparring. He is very personable, fun, great with the whole family and creates an atmosphere that is conducive to learning.I would like to say that Mr. Strong and his staff really strive to create a strong community within the school and also within the greater community. Thanks for the hard work and striving for excellence.We appreciate it greatly!

DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE! We paid for six months after being pressured and hounded then an unexecpted event happened that caused us not to be able to continue after just a few weeks and while the instructors said over and over the next 6 months that we would be refunded... after dodging our calls, one instructor finally said sorry its in your paperwork that there are no refunds. So, they get close to $1000 for the fun of it. While both kids enjoyed, the youngests instructor clearly didnt like the high energy level of our almost 3-yr-old and the disgusted and tortured look was plastered on her face every time we came. So long as you paying up and do everything they hound you into doing, including the several charity projects each week that create a countless reminder emails each week, youll be fine. For us, this was a terrible experience where they took our money after hounding us to pay so far in advance and we get nothing out of it!

We too, won a karate pizza party through our school fundraiser and had my sons 5th birthday party there. It was incredible! They captivated the attention of 2 year olds all the way up the 7 year olds. AND, the parents were amazed because they could actually socialize since the kids were focused on something else that was constructive. WAY TO GO!

My kids go to ATA Karate Denver for last 3 years and I could not have been happier with overall experience we have had. Not only did they develop in their martial arts skills tremendously but they are learning very important life lessons and leadership skills. The instructors at ATA Karate denver truly care. They are funny yet strict and very effective with kids! The community Mr Strong has created is awesome. Kids from ATA participate in tournaments and have won many awards! They leadership seminars open them up to so many possibilities and skills! I highly recommend ATA Karate Denver to anyone looking for Martial Arts training, kids and adults both!

ATA Karate Denver did a phenomenal job with my 7 year old sons birthday party! First, ATA donated a Karate pizza party to our school for a fundraiser and we won it! So, kudos to ATA for being so kind and generous and donating this fun experience to help raise money for our school. Second, scheduling and organizing the party was very easy and Stephanie and Barbara were very kind and helpful. ATA supplied the plates, forks, napkins, water and of course, the yummy pizza! The Karate instructor, Mr. C, was amazing with a huge room of rambunctious 4 to 7 year olds who were unfamiliar with Karate. Mr. C taught the kids a bit of discipline, some Karate moves and supplied lots of laughs. Jason (the owner?) was very attentive and kind, checking on us to make sure the party was going perfectly.As a small business owner, I understand how difficult it can be to run a business. ATA Karate did a phenomenal job, with excellent customer service, and deserves to stand out from the crowd of other Martial Arts businesses. They have definitely added some new students to their business for such a job well done!
