We decided to try a group lesson for our grandchildren 7 and 10, who had never been on a horse (other than the Lawton Stable pony ride). They absolutely loved the experience, and you could see them gaining real confidence over the hour as they progressed slowly through guiding the horse around the area to a slow trot. And they also got a chance to do some grooming to give them a real appreciation of what it takes to care for a horse. In fact they were so enthralled that we gave them a second lesson, and their level of improvement and self-confidence grew again. Very well organized, well supervised and carefully taught. The grandkids are already talking about coming back when they are next visiting.

Unfortunately this stables is leased out, and the current leasee is intolerable to say the least. As a boarder, whos on their way out, I have witnessed so many poor practices, inadequacies and age/riding violations. One of the persons who gave a review, works there!! My biggest concern is the continued lack of true and honest horse care that comes with operating this type of business. Again, having been raised with horses and a current horse owner, I personally feel that Richardson Equestrian (leasee) at this stables is a very poor example of true horsemanship! Cuts on my horse and barely any stall floor shavings (after begging for more)!

As a lifelong rider who took a long break to raise kids, I’m back in the saddle whenever I have the opportunity. Moss Creek Stables offers lessons for beginners and intermediate riders. The stable is clean and the horses are well cared for and quiet which is ideal for beginners especially. The staff is all friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this stable- give it a try!

A beginner lesson was my daughters birthday. This was worth the wait. Such a great experience. She learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. Safety was stressed and we felt very safe the whole time. The horses are healthy and well taken care of. We will be back

Great place. Beautiful location in a great community, beautiful and well taken care of horses, wonderful lesson program fit for all ages and all levels with knowledgeable and professional instructors. Highly recommend for all!, they also hold great camps and birthday parties too!!!

Dont be fooled, this place is horrible. if you know anything about horses and riding youll be able to tell right away that this barn is nothing but a lesson mill. safety is out the window here, they dont even fit helmets properly to kids heads and I saw kids standing on horses backs and running around. overpriced for bad instruction and very unprofessional. would absolutely not send my children here.

Tom runs a friendly yet professional barn and his horses are in good condition. His instructors ensure the safety of their pupils at all times, while making sure they have fun learning to ride.

Great instructors and safe lesson horses! Family friendly events and horse camps offered throughout the whole year!

Great learning experience from beginning to end of your lesson

Our 9 yr old son had his first beginner lesson today & loved it! We were greeted with warm hellos by all staff members. The instructor, Addison, clearly explained the process of preparation & then all throughout the ride. Its great that theyre teaching him not only how to ride, but how to take care of the horse as well. We will be going back!

Amazing!! 10 stars... I cant stress how wonderful Tom and crew have been. To be honest I was a bit trepidatious on getting out during Covid, but needed to do something as a Family. I could not be happier that I was able to find the crew at Moss Creek they have been over the moon accommodating and welcoming to all of us. Thank you for all that you have done to get me off my high horse and on to yours :)
