SponsoredBoat was amazing, it was used in the Americas Cup by the US team back about 20 years ago. It is an amazing deal to get to ride a sailboat of this size. The crew was super nice and very professional. Restroom on board and drinks available for purchase. When heading into the win we got the boat on a 45 degree lean, kids loved that part.

What a great sailing experience! I started my sail racing days right when Dennis Conner was coming on the scene. Great memories. Then to stand at the helm and drive the same boat he did was awesome. Crew was awesome! Got to talk sailing! Miss it a lot!One question though, where can I get my hands on one of those cool Stars and Stripes Tshirts?

This was by far the best part of our trip to Hilton Head, SC. We booked our Stars and Stripes sailing trip on line. We had 6 adults and 2 children both under the age of 6. The sailing was amazing. First off the captain and his crew were wonderful. They were highly experienced sailors and some of the most friendly people Ive ever met. We sailed around the bay for 90 minutes. We helped raise the sails, drove the vessel and relaxed on the deck. The kids were even able to sail the boat! The weather was great and we were able to sightsee from the water which was amazing. The ship has a restroom and has drinks available for purchase. Everyone had a great time and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you to the captain and his crew!!!

Guess my expectations were different. Since it was an America’s cup vessel, I equated it with speed. This felt more like a grandpa cruise for the infirmed. We motored out past the private piers, but I kept waiting for the speed and sailing adventure. The sails were raised but there wasn’t much wind and my hair barely even blew. The captain and crew were pleasant enough, but I was bored. We didn’t do more than putter for two hours barely getting out of sight of the Harbour Town lighthouse. Oh, and the sun had already set before our sunset cruise began.

What an experience we had aboard Stars & Stripes, it was truly sailing aboard a slice of American sailing history! The crew was very informative about the yachts history, and they taught us how to sail! My husband even won a free drink during their pop quiz portion of the trip. We highly recommend sailing on Stars & Stripes when visiting Hilton Head. We cant wait to come back in the spring!!!

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our time on the boat. The captain is an “old salt” with many great story’s of sailing and the history of Hilton Head. I’ll come back for another sail on this historic ship.
