My daughter got placed in the extended program in middle school after taking Math Kumon at the Hoffman estates center. Her teachers were Shreelatha and Sangeetha , they really attend to the kids doubts and explain complex concepts, and not just merely give the weekly sheets for the kids to figure out on their own. Their program we strong even during covid , while on zoom. Thanks a lot to the center !

As someone who finished the mathematics program, Kumon provided me with invaluable foundational math skills and as I grew, my lesson plan adapted to cover advanced material in ways that were still easy to understand and relevant. The teaching method allows students to explore topics and receive great assistance when necessary. The Kumon program helped me succeed at school and love math as a kid. I totally recommend Kumon to students of all ages!

Choosing Kumon is the best thing i have done for my child for her long-term success. At Kumon, they focus on building academic confidence, igniting intellectual curiosity and inspiring a love for learning — all of which made a big impact with my kid.. I noticed her grades are getting better. Kumon Learning center is awesome. I like the way they teach. My daughter also feels good that shes being rewarded for what shes doing.I strongly Recommend kumon and i am planning to join my second daughter in this center.

Kumon is insanely corporate. I can’t even call up a local franchise without getting directed to a series of robotic responses. I then have reps leaving messages that all sound the same, but when I call back I’m at square one. There’s a difference between a true local place and some corporate machine that is designed for business efficiency — your kid will just be a number to Kumon. I went to Elite Tutoring Place instead which is an incredible value and the responses are timely and personal.

Kumon is a fantastic place for children to go and learn many new things! My 12 year old daughter has been going to Kumon since she was 3 years old. Right now she is in 6th Grade and is doing 10th Grade math. Kumon has definitely helped her in school, it has especially helped her in Algebra. The instructors at Kumon are very helpful, if you need help, the instructors will help until you get the answer. The best thing is that the instructors give hints, they dont give answers right away, so your child can have a good learning opportunity. The owner of the Hoffman Estates Kumon, Sreelata Voddu, also helps children when there is a new concept, or when your child needs help. Overall, Kumon is an amazing place to send your children because they will learn new things, have practice on concepts by doing their Kumon Worksheets, which only take 30 minutes a day, and they will have proper guidance. I recommend Kumon Learning Center of Hoffman Estates, and give it a 5/5 stars.

Kumon is the wonderful place where I learned a lot which help me improving my grades with both math and english and im working on higher skills than in my school. Kumon also gave me a love of academics right from the start. I would reccommend kumon class to people who want to learn more. The teachers there are helpful and ready to answer your questions. Joining Kumon was the best academical choice for me. Because of this pandemic they started online class too and was not sure what to expect because the class was taught remotely, but I was quite impressed with the entire process. The facility was very professional and there were no problems with connectivity. All my questions were answered clearly and I love my Kumon Class.

I have been going to Kumon for about 5 years now and personally it has helped me but there have been times where Ive wished I didnt go to Kumon, mainly because what I was learning didnt make sense to me. Kumon is self-paced so there isnt a teacher physically teaching your kids the lessons. There are teachers but mostly they are teenagers either volunteering or working and sometimes they arent the best people to go to when you need help. Of course there are some good teenage teachers, but they are rare. Im writing this from experience. Kumon also has a different way of teaching things compared to the way you learn it in school, so even though your child might learn it in Kumon before they learn it in school, they might not really understand it until they learn it in school. Of course there are some students who really benefit and learn from Kumon, its methods arent for everyone. So in saying that if you do enroll your child in Kumon and they arent really feeling it, all hope isnt lost. There are other methods to teach children things and Kumons methods may or may not always work.

Worst place ever. Owner took deposit for 6 month , and refuse any refund after 1 lesson . Program is a bad design, kids siting there and doing same things for weeks, program not developing any logical skills.Total waist of money .
