I currently attend this school and honestly? I don’t think i’ve ever felt more upset about the communication with the facility. i’ve never had this many issues with a educational facility. I will say financial aid and recruitment team are amazing and SO kind. however, everyone else seems to be on another page. also, if you need things done on time they do it on their own time they send emails out late for when you need to finish requirements by and you have to ask them for the information. and don’t forget the emails they send out are incredibly unprofessional and not helpful to you if you want to pass. i’ve met a lot of great professors here, but the staff really make it difficult to want to continue further than the path you choose. I love the courses they offer, but the faculty makes it SO hard to want to stay.

Attended the LPN and RN program. If you want an education, this is a great place for working adults! Nursing school is beyond difficult, be prepared and you’ll be just fine. I just took a class or two at a time, and finished. I don’t think I would have been as successful in a traditional nursing program.

I just passed my NCLEX-RN as others do who graduate from this program on the first attempt. Ambria has a 100% passing NCLEX score for a reason. It’s a challenging program, yes but also that being said, it’s a scaffolded program! So the concepts build on each other and you go into new learning with a super strong foundation of prior learning, which made me feel very secure and comfortable academically. It’s not like they throw all the content at you and expect you to know it all immediately. They have a good academic plan but you as a student have to know yourself, your learning style and be consistant. Today Im grateful for choosing Ambria College of Nursing because I feel very confident and comfortable in my ability to do things. If it wasnt for the professors who believed in me when I didnt believe in myself, pushing me when I wanted to give up, I wouldnt have made it to the finish line. Dr. E every word was worth treasuring. Georgene who was the dean really made sure the students succeeded not just in her Mental health class but the program as well, just to name a few but theyre all phenomenal professionals at Ambria. I can guarantee you will know more than an average nurse once you graduate from Ambria and like they say, knowledge is power. God bless all!

Ambria College of Nursing seems to be a school that really takes the time and effort for their students. Its close proximity to me is helpful and being a smaller school is something I like. I can really see myself being a part of this school. I also like the way these programs are set up with various options. Ambria College of Nursing has programs that are flexible with my schedule, the program runs at a good pace where I can finish my career in a blink of an eye if I put the effort and time needed.

I dont know where to start. I recently was enrolled in this school. No, this school does not have a flexible schedule as they claim. They have morning and evening classes that is it. They barely offer tutoring sessions. The teachers do ridicule, are very rude, and abrupt instead of understanding that everyone learns differently. They dont give you much homework or assignments so your grade is based off of tests and quizzes so if you fail 2 of those youll basically fail the class. Yes the grade needed to pass is an 80 so if you get a 79.44 you will be considered as failing and will have to pay for the entire course again. No, I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone and no, Im not angry so do not come under my review saying that. This school has majority reviews about the info session because they give you a voucher for your review online to help pay for the application fee or teas test. Please research the school for yourself.

I am a current student at Ambria and I am very satisfied with their staff and faculty. It is a small private school which makes it more personable to students. I attended this school after my original school closed its doors forever. I have to say that from attending this school I feel confident and empowered to practice my skills outside the clinical setting. Like all nursing schools it’s not perfect and hopefully will be striving to IMPROVE as they LISTEN to their student’s issues. I had many wonderful instructors with back ground experience that had the patience to guide me through the process of becoming a LPN. Carol in financial Aid is phenomenal. I really appreciate her help and encouragement throughout my journey. Overall I give this school a 8/10.

Humiliated me for being a single mom. Ask me to leave for having a child present and all i was asking for was some papers about there college. After i drove the hour to this college. They didnt bother to know my name and send me out the college. I know for fact wilbur wright never done any shady things like that. Chamberlain never treated anyone like that. No college ever ask a single parent to leave because they had a child. They where actually welcoming about it and even allow the child in the info session . but this college disrespected me and humiliated me.

Unless you get a high TEAS exam score and have had perfect grades all your life, they will accept you into the nursing program. Passed the teas, had a 3.3 GPA from another nursing school I was looking to transfer from ... but my grades from 10 YEARS AGO is what they looked at and told me I wasnt a good candidate for their program... waste of time. Spend the extra money and go to Chamberlain.

The program is flexible as a working professional I need to be able to work while I go to school. The opportunities available to LPNs who become a RN are plentiful and outweigh the initial cost of going back to school. The school has an amazing pass rate and no waiting list. Impressive considering the hoops and hurdles you need to go through if you have been out of school over 5 years.

I was a past student at Ambria and just wanted to share my experiences since most of the review are from people who only attended the information session. I unfortunately was not able to complete the program due to family issues but I do see a lot of people saying that they accommodate for working adults. I find this amusing due to the fact that they from day one stated that you will not succeed if you have a full time job. This is could be true because the amount of studying it takes in a nursing program is huge! I witnessed one of my classmates be put on some type of warning and be threatened with being kicked out due to the fact she missed a class due to starting a new job. I also watched the dean come into our lab and ridicule one of my classmates in front of everyone due to the fact that he had the wrong color shirt under his scrubs. I believe in following rules but I also believe that things should be handled in a more discreet manner. I also experienced some instructors that really did not know how to teach, including a clinical instructor that had us sit around a table and chat for hours instead of learning the skills we should have been learning. They also have some really great instructors that want to see you succeed. Once you begin the actual program they will also tell you not to leave negative reviews based on your own experiences and went on to describe situations from previous students and how and why everything was the students fault. If I am not mistaking they also make you sign a waiver!

I graduated from Ambria with my LPN in 2013 and now with my RN. I graduated in August 2019 and took my boards in October of 2019. I passed on my first attempt after 83 questions. My experience at Ambria has been very positive. The small class sizes is very beneficial and you definitely get the attention from the professor. Also, being a small class size you become really close with your classmates. Through those relationships I was able to form different study groups in each class that really helped with my success. And we were able to make it fun, which is SUPER IMPORTANT for your own sanity ha.The school does a great job with preparing you for the NCLEX. The exams in class and ATI exams are hard, but once I got to the NCLEX, it was a piece of cake. The staff members are very helpful and caring. They genuinely care about their students success. There are a few that stand out; Dr. Berent, Lisa Testolin, Sandy Melone, and Carol (financial aid). Unfortunately, during my RN education I had a family emergency that really hindered my mind-set and put me back a bit. But from the support especially from Dr. Berent, Lisa Testolin, and Sandy Melone I was able to overcome and continue on with my coursework. They made sure I had resources available to me and took the time to check on my well-being. If it wasnt for them, I might not have graduated with my RN. And with the times they checked on me, I could tell it was from a place of genuine care and not because it was the right thing to do. Which meant a lot to me.The only thing that made it a bit difficult were clinical locations. There wasnt always a lot of options available for clinical sites, so you might be stuck driving a bit of a distance to a clinical location each week. Which wasnt ideal, but it was typically only once a week, so it wasnt too bad.Nursing school is hard, and yes, youll cry, curse, stay up late, and not have a social life, but they will prepare you for nursing. When I look back I wouldnt have changed a thing and Im very grateful for my experiences at Ambria and I thank them for my success in life.

It is not something that you can put minimal time into and succeed. I think Ambria College of Nursing has a good Nursing Program. Their program has options to work with my schedule. I can either work full time or part time and go to school at the same time. They have BSN program that costs way less than the other colleges or universities in the area. For me to have to work full time in order to pay my bills, I chose Ambria College of Nursing so when I graduate from the program I will not have debts to pay.

The price they tell you in the info session is thousands of dollars less than how much the program actually is. They have so many hidden fees. They raised my tuition and sent me a email 4 days before class started and gave me a week to pay $250 more on top of the $330 I was already paying them. I emailed back explaining my situation and never got a response back. I was going to go back in January but they sent me a email saying I would have to apply and also pay the application fee of $100 once again. You also have to pay them $50 to look at your transcript. Dont get me wrong its a nice school, but what they did was very unprofessional and cost me to be set back.

I think the school is good, pricing is good as well but the staff oh no! The Asian guy that showed me around has a bigger preference toward his kind only, he said we werent smart because we didnt have the Asian blood on us! Wth! And look at the Asian girl next to him and right? Website said they offer prereqs he said for me to go to my local community college then go back for the program! Definitely not attending this school!

I believe that I have the heart and mind to be a nurse. Working as a CNA for over a yr has taugh me a lot on how tough this field is. Am up to challenge myself to enter the LPN program in September to better myself and my career. This school offer the flexibility to attended classes as you can and complete the program between 12 to 20 months! This is a great opportunity for student who have full time job and family!

Ambria gave me the opportunity to work and go back to school. I received my lpn certification in May. I probably was the oldest student ever! Carol in financial services is outstanding. Professors have all been great. Some really more than others. I am thankful for Ambrias flexibility with hours, days and courses. Local community colleges are not!
