Flash has the knowledge and skills to take you where you want to go. I’m 47 and just started boxing in the last year. Before i started at Flash Academy i had never even been punched in the face. Flash took me in and gave me the base and confidence to get in the ring. Now i look forward to sparing every Friday. He knows when to push and when to step back. Now my whole family attends boxing or karate classes at the academy.Not only is it a great skill to build self confidence but boxing is an amazing workout. I look forward to early mornings in the gym.I would highly recommend it.Side note- if your looking for fancy frills and want to just hit bags to pretend you’re boxing this may not be the gym for you. If you enjoy down to earth real people, want to learn real boxing or real karate, you will find a friend at the Flash academy.

Eddie Flash Newman is a true distinguished gentleman, Martial artist, and accomplished boxer. The level of instruction is the best in the state of Utah. Dedicated to teaching Martial arts above all other considerations, Mr. Flash cares about teaching technique first and foremost. If you want to become strong and capable of self defense, you need to train with Mr. Flash.

I put my 8yr old daughter into boxing at Flash Academy to learn how to defend herself and help build up her confidence. Flash has been nothing short then amazing. He is 100% invested and I love to see how detailed he is with the workouts and techniques he teaches the kids, he keeps them motivated and excited for what’s next. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else.

My two adult kids (male and female), took karate from Flash. Now my sons boy (my grandson ) is a student of Flashs! . He is a fantastic instructor who loves the kids and has a wealth of knowledge to give them. His studio has many things to offer for adults as well! I wouldnt take my grandson anywhere else!!!

Mr. Flash is an excellent karate and boxing teacher. He not only teaches the kids to perfect their sport, but teaches them respect. He includes the entire family in student parties and creates a friendly, close-knit community. My son has been taking lessons for 3-4 years and we have been very happy.
