Miss Laura is a very knowledgeable, nurturing and experienced provider who cares deeply for the children in her care. She provided my son a safe place to learn and grow from the very beginning of being a preschooler to the point of being a confident five-year-old eager to enter kindergarten. We recommend Swans Nest to many people as they search for a quality program and we are sad that our own years at Swans Nest have come to an end. Our son plans to visit as a visiting reader as soon as he can!

Ms. Laura has done an amazing job educating our son and helping to build his development. She has a very calming nature that is such a good influence on all of her students. We look forward to having our children grow up with Ms. Laura!

I have never felt so comfortable leaving my only child in the hands of the wonderful Ms. Laura. As an only child attending Swans nest our daughter was able to be in a small, comfortable, safe, nuturing and loving environment at Swans Nest. She is off to Kindergarten this year and honestly I am still wondering how we are going to cope without Ms. Laura in our everyday lives. Laura is patient and kind and always knows the personalities of the children she has in her care which makes it a first hand experience. She would always let us know of our daughter was struggling with something or excelling. Our daughter was able to flourish at Swans Nest with the amazing tutelage of Laura. I really cant say enough about the amazing care and learning experience out daughter had at Swans Nest. We will miss Ms. Laura.

Swans Nest is a very unique haven for children. Lauras home is a wonderful, safe space for children to grow - there is a warmth, acceptance and pure coziness that immediately pulls you in. Above all, Miss Laura is somewhat of a child-whisperer - she has a 6th sense for children, and Im always in awe to see her at work. There is love, patience, and yet an inherent command as she molds these children into their best selves. I highly recommend her for any child.

This review is long overdue. Our daughter went to Swans Nest for two years from 2011 to 2013 and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the care Ms Laura is providing for her children. Sophie developed into a true angel - a kind person, polite, willing to share, a care taker and comforter, helping younger kids to feel secure. Sophie started after just turning two, still wearing diapers, but soon was fully potty trained and very independent. She turned into a kind, loving, and caring child that comforts her friends when they are upset. Sophie, who used to be more a shy and introverted toddler, learned to be polite and friendly with people she doesnt know well under Ms Lauras care. Ms Laura is a wonderful teacher who teaches her kids, patiently and with much love, how to become a preschooler and ready to tackle the small challenges in life. Sophie knew how to write her name with 2.5 years and learned the ABC. We always felt Sophie was in a good place and save while under her care. Our daughter shared a special bond with the other children at Ms Lauras that we have not found in the preschools following her care. Ms Laura, we miss you. Thank you for all that you have done.
