I worked as a contractor for success 4 school for 3 years while obtaining my masters. While I dont usually review things like this, I felt compelled when I read a review from an angry contractor that couldnt make the grade . In the time that I worked there, I found both the owner and the director as well as the other contractors to have a great deal of integrity and a true dedication to families. If you are thinking of working here beware - if you are not willing to work hard , advocate for children, and achieve results , you will NOT make it past your probationary period. At success4 school the children always come first. You are given more information about the children you work with than you can imagine. Contractors are not haphazardly chosen, and Ive never had a problem with accounting. It was the highest I have ever been paid for tutoring , and I would still be working there if I hadnt taken a position out of state. As you can tell, I enjoyed my time at success4 school. I think it is such a shame that someone would go out of their way to be negative when things didnt work out for them. Jill, you are Awesome! I hope you and Elizabeth are doing well.Andy

My son began working with a tutor at Success 4 School late in his third grade year. He was having difficulties with his writing and his grades slipped because of it. Over the following two and a half years, we have seen great improvements in my sons studies. Hes enjoyed working with each of his tutors and I cant express how important thats been. To have a nine, ten or eleven year old boy who is not fighting to go study, and to see success from those studies, has been great. The investment in tutoring has helped my son with his grades, study habits and confidence in school.

My son was in the beginning of his junior year when he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. After being in bed for 5 months we discovered he could no longer process math and had trouble reading. This was a boy who was athletic and always had good grades in a private school. We found Success4Schools and enrolled him. These folks were amazing in so many ways they nurtured him they rebuilt his self esteem and more importantly they created a way to teach him the math required to graduate in a way his brain could process it. They were so patient and many times helping at night over the phone to get his homework done when he was frustrated. As for the tuition. They spent more time with him day after day and night after night that I am Sure they lost money. Im not sure what the last reviewer means by bullying this is what they are highly against. I have spent many hours in that environment while my son attended there and never witnessed anything but love and patience. I can only leave you with this at my sons graduation he spoke these words how do you thank people who spent so much time helping me. There are no words to say thank you to the people who fixed me when I was so Broken. This coming from an 18 year old. If I can help any parent make a decision about putting their child in this environment please contact me especially if you have a child who has suffered a TBI. Im sure they still has my cell number on file. Today my son is a freshman in college and planning to go on to law school. There are no words to express my thanks to these people they gave my son a new life and saved mine.

I remember the old days at Franklin Academy where my son was treated as if he was invisible . Special needs children are treated so differently in the Wake County school district . They pull down the scores and their IEPs were never met. We were an inconvenience . By the grace of god I met Jill and Allison. I wonder if they know that they directly changed the rules , they changed the odds and the outcome is overwhelming. If you want greatness if you are ready for the real thing please call them. Ask for me talk with my son Tony. Thank you for everything ,he matters and know he feels it and he owns it.

Success4School has been amazing for our son. From the beginning assessment and meeting to working with his coach, Dan, things have been so positive. The team chose the perfect coach for our son, who is currently in High School. Since he started working with Dan, homework stress is gone. Our son is very bright but struggles with organization due to ADHD. Now he does it without reminders, in his specific place, at a specific time and his notebook is ORGANIZED! He and Dan chat like friends, but he takes Dans suggestions to heart and implements them. Dan encourages him while he holds him accountable. If you are considering tutoring or coaching for your student, I encourage you, as a fellow parent, contact Success4School! You will be so relieved to have him or her getting help in such a positive, caring and successful program.

My high school son has been working with Carrie for almost a year. I wish I had signed him up when he entered middle school and I first started seeing problems with tracking assignments, getting work done, etc. Instead I spent 3 years yelling, coercing, checking teacher websites daily, and generally making us both miserable while not helping him in any meaningful way. Yes - some of what Carrie tells him are things Ive told him. But having another person, especially a teacher, say it carries more weight. I finally got help when it looked like he was going to fail most of his classes. We signed up for the study skills coaching.Today, my involvement in homework is to ask how much time do you need for homework. Im thinking about us going out later, so he thinks about it. He gives an answer (2 hours) and I say OK. Homework discussion over. Grades are mostly As in honors and AP classes with a couple of high Bs. No yelling. No threats. I have a good relationship with him again.I cant comment on how they work with young kids, or how actual tutoring works. But the study skills coaching with Carrie has been transformative.>> Update 9/2017The work with Carrie, Dan, and others really helped my son. Im happy to report he is self sufficient right now in his sophomore year of college. He stays on top of his studies and he is doing well on his own.

S4S provides a good service, love the touter / coach, but their business practices are lacking. Once they have your credit card you are on the hook for automatic re-billing year over year / term over term without any communications. Once your service expires they will charge you without any communications to confirm if you would like to renew. Their terms do give them that right but an ethical service providing company does not utilize this type of practice. Complicated agreements are not good practice in todays marketplace....Very disappointed multi year customer....

My children went to track out camp here and I was very disappointed. When I looked at their website it seemed like it was very structured and science based. However, this was not the case at all especially in the afternoons when they played board games and watched a movie. According to their online schedule the afternoons were supposed to be filled with more modules which did not occur. Not only that but there was limited supervision. When I called to speak with someone regarding camp b/c my son stated he didnt like it the lady that answered said that she watched them during the afternoon although when I picked up she was in the office while all the kids were watching a movie. When questioned she said that she had stuff to do and she periodically checked in on the kids. This was very disturbing to me. I will never send my kids back here nor will I recommend this camp to any else.
