We have been with Ms. Kay Redford before she started PDC. She has been amazing with my dancer and I have seen Bella grow as a graceful and technical dancer. Kay and her instructors are amazing with the dancers. You know they are loved when all you hear from the kids is how AWESOME they are. 2019/2020 marks both my daughters’ 6th year with Kay and the fourth year with Pirouette Dance Company. We have watched our girls transition from being shy and restrained onstage to confident and full of a vitality that is so exquisitely their own. We love that Kay is not only a fabulous teacher of movement, body position, language, and discipline , but also dedicates her life to the art of movement. It is so valuable for the dancers to have an accomplished dancer as a role model. In addition to all of that, our daughters love every class they attend.

I cant say enough good things about this dance studio, the director Kay, and the faculty. PDC manages the rare feat of doing two things incredibly well; it is both a very warm, welcoming, friendly, well run and well organized studio and also an incredible teaching facility for dance. Kay and the faculty are very supportive and attentive to all the kids, regardless of their level. They keep a careful eye on who needs what kind of work and suggest classes accordingly. Its remarkable how well they know each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of dance. They also enforce a policy of all the kids being nice to each other. Everyone applauds for everyone else, everyone thanks the teacher at the end of each class, everyone works hard and is supportive of each other.The studio is growing along with my daughters, so that there are always challenging classes to take and interesting things to learn. They have been given wonderful opportunities not just to perform and to compete, but also to do things like dance at local cultural festivals and for seniors in a care facility. The studio is also very respectful of family time and homework time, and many of their dancers are also honors students in school. My daughters have learned not just how to dance, but how to manage their time, how to be responsible, and how to support and nurture others.If you are considering dance classes here -- you will love it. Kay and staff at Pirouette Dance Studio are outstanding. Kay is very organized, kind and flexible. Her choreography is fantastic, and she has a wonderful ability to build great teams and make hardworking dancers out of all of her students. PDC is top notch in the Cary, Apex, and Holly Springs area.

The facility is clean and well-kept, the staff are all very friendly, and I always feel welcome when I come in.

Kay is flexible, kind and a great teacher. She creates an environment that cares for every child no matter their ability or ambition (and helps them to grow into a better dancer).
