The teachers were good but, I cant say the same about most students. I would say the food is good but, I usually dont eat at school. My experience there was overall amazing, I find that school is a good place make friends and make bonds for life. I hope my teachers find this review because its going to be a nice conversation to have whenever I see them again.

My daughter goes to this school. She loves her teachers. The staff is very nice. I have only good to say about this school. Beautiful Campus. They also teach cursive writing. Beautiful outdoor areas for the kids to play.

The principal at this school is disrespectful and condescending. There have been a few occasions this has occurred. I have 3 children attending this school. None have been in trouble. As a matter of fact I am complimented by their teachers in meeting pertaining to their progress and behavior.My son Gabriel is in first grade. As I was picking them up from school my son was approaching the car visibly upset holding back tears. In a rush the principal made his was over to the car as he was getting in and explained that another child had gave my son some Pokémon cards but had wanted them back. So I immediately told him it was not ok to keep them..... at which point I heard the principal saying you see triumphantly to my son as he walked away.( which I disregarded at first ) so when my 6 year old son got in the car I explained to him there was no need to cry. At which point he started explaining to me that the principal had took his lunch box and refused to give it back several times which is why he was upset. My 11 year old daughter attested to this and that he not only took it but mocked him repeatedly saying see how it feels. ... .. mind you my son is no bully. I have report cards with compliments to his good nature and I myself teach him not only to no bully but to stand up for kids bullying.This principal didnt try to Mentor and teach my son something. He basically made my son know what its like to feel helpless...When I turned around and approached him about this he not only had a smirk on his face but denied taunting my son and told me out right that my son wasnt visibly upset. The kid was in tears approaching the car...Im contacting the school board and local news to this in the morning now that Ive calmed down and thoughe about it with a level headBELOW IS A PICTURE OF 1 OF MY KIDS AT THE SCHOOL... FOR THE OWNER THAT LIED RESPONDING THAT THERE IS NO ASSOCIATION..BELIEVE ME, IF NOT FOR THEM LIVING WITH THEIR MOTHER IN THAT AREA I WOULD HAPPILY ENROLL THEM ELSE WHERE

Great school. The environment is perfect for young students. They love being there. Dr. Montes is tough. He expects excellence and commitment from every employee.

My son went there a few years ago and his teacher, Ms. Santiago was the best. She was what I call a “real teacher”. She was patient and encouraging which is hard to find in teachers now days, sadly. Too many just want a job with summers off. I was so sad to have had to move away because he was boundaries for another school after that and he hasn’t had but one real teacher since and that was 5 years ago. If you’re reading this, thank you Miss Santiago!

This School is nice but they need to stop the bullying and they need to stop favoritism

Love this school. I have not had one issue. My son goes here and he loves it. He was in Kinder last year and we adored his teacher she was amazing and had always let me know if he did something wrong or if he were to get hurt they would call me just so I wouldnt freak out.

To be honest, this school had its ups and downs, but its okay... the things that really bothered me was the staff.. I can see that the staff and the principal’s behavior towards the kids has changed, I can kind’ve see for the reviews... But before that it was complete chaos! Kids kept fighting and fighting, the staff and principal even had favorites! FAVORITES! Now dealing with children is kinda hard, personally I know, considering how big my family is, but we dont get to have favorites. Your treating some kids differently than your treating other kids! Plus, the physical contact! The staff is always putting their hands on kids, taking their lunch.. it’s rude and disgusting! One time on the first day of school I saw the principal putting HIS hand on a child’s body, god knows what he was saying to him, but luckily the mom came and told him off...May I also talk about the condition of the school, turns out in aftercare I went to the window to hangout with my friend and I saw so many termite wings! That is disgusting, and also unbelievable seeing how long the school has been around, has anyone not noticed it? Also, considering how quick staff come and go out of no where is unbelievable, and it’s always the nicest ones, but what is really odd is that there is one particular staff member that people would call the most “rudest” has been working there for forever! And how quick the principal takes sides with them, there was also this one time where that same staff member was encouraging my class to hit their kids when their older! That is absolutely cruel, telling them how to raise their kids?! Wow...to be honest, writing this is making me absolutely mad! Here are some tips about how to not to get in trouble with them.. 1. So you might be thinking “oh so their bad, and I need to confront them!” No do not, all you need to do is say “Hi” and walk away 2. Do not say anything that would make them feel offended.. 3: the last one is that if any of them put THEIR hands on you without your consent, just tell your parents and get them fired! Bye.. I hope they improve that school tremendously! God bless them! (Btw, they have 2 churches next to them! Someone help them get baptized.. again if they need to..)

I love this school! At first I was weary to enroll my child because of the bad reviews. But I decided to visit the campus before making a decision. On my 1st visit I was able to meet the Principal and Assistant Principal. We discussed the schools curriculm and my concerns as a parent. They were very attentative and informative. They invited me back with my daughter to take a tour of the school to see how comfortable she felt before enrolling her. After visiting some other elementary schools in Hollywood- I chose Sunshine Elementary. It had this sense of community which is vital. She has been here one year and I loved her teacher as well. She will be returning next year. I highly reccommend this Elementary school. The one thing I feel it needs more of is Parent involvement and that is something that the school is currently working on.

This school honestly makes me want to kill myself. Ive never had so many panic attacks in my life, every time I turn the corner, GOSSIP and EAR RAPE. This school should be shut down, and replaced with a Wendys, its better use of space. ♥ KAWAIIIII SENPAIIII ♥

The teacher here are ok but the rules they have is unacceptable they take your phone away even if your phone in bookbag theyll threatened you to give up your phone or theyll check your bookbag for your phone ,also you not allow to wear any custom jackets or they take it away ,there is some staff that willingly to help you if you extra help but some of those rules to middle school are now some kids hate those rules and the rest of this rules as well

I used to attend this school and I have to say this is the worst school by far. The teachers are horrible and the principle is rude and disrespectful. The condition the school is in is horrible. Everyday i went to school id always get bit by mosquito and there are centipedes everywhere. Kids were fighting every other day. After 1 year of that school i refused to go back i begged my mom not to send me there ever again. They need to shut this school down foreal. They cant possibly have this school open still. And the principle need to get his licenses taken away because if you hate kids that much you really shouldnt be working with them.

My daughter has been there since pre-kindergarten. Now she is in 4th. I love this school, you never have a problem with any teacher, unfortunately I have to move to Pompano and thats why I took her out, otherwise she would still be there.
